It is the first time that the water of the Yamuna River has crossed the national capital and reached the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing team has descended upon flood-affected areas in Haryana, Punjab & Himachal Pradesh.

Green S Force is actively providing help to the flood-affected people .

Primary challenge in all the flood-affected areas is to deal with the major issue of food and drinking water.

Glimpses of Bhandara Celebrations

True Master’s Incarnation is celebrated with a Bhandara and a plethora of Satsangs and welfare works. These celebrations and their decoration are at an altogether different level at Dera Sacha Sauda.

On the auspicious occasion of birth day celebration of the true bestower guide Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj, the decoration undertaken by sat brahmchari sevadars along with the sevadars of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing from bus stand to Shah Satnam Ji Dham as well as complete Ashram was very impressive and enchanting for every devotee visiting the Dera. The description of decoration in one such Bhandara is reproduced below;–

Punjabi youths in their traditional avatars were seen congratulating the audience by beat of drum and playing Bhangra in ox driven cart upon the water supply tank and a Railway engine was seen attracting the Sadh Sangat with chhuk chhuk sound just following them. Adjacent to them there was a Diana sore, a fish,a swan of electric tube congratulating the Sadh Sangat by alternate bright-dim lights. The high tower erected in the vicinity of pavilion was glimmering with two mini aero planes supervising the Sadh Sangat by rotating nonstop.

The exhibition created by the sevadars of Meerut [U.P] near Shahi Canteen was a grand attraction for all. The exhibition was representing the electric tube view of Gufa of Himachal Pradesh over a hill, a lift moving towards the Gufa, flour grinding automatic running mill. In the vicinity, water running out of hand pump. Proper arrangement was there for parking vehicles of all categories in parking grounds. A swing playing for the entertainment of children Organic agriculture etc everything was there in that small exhibition. The glimmering strings of electric mini bulbs during night background were charming everybody. The lone sevadar Sham Sunder, sitting there was controlling everybody.Whole pavilion, Sach Khand hall, Gufa was decorated with various beautiful electric appliances, electric illuminated strings, natural scenting flowers or artificial flowers and buntings’ deer and rabbit were seen jumping adjacent to Sach Khand hall and expressing their joy. A cyclist was peddling continuously near the main gate and cheering the Sadh Sangat.In Shahi Gufa, gardeners had decorated the royal stage with beautiful and scented flowers of rose marigold and chrysanthemum at the time of cutting cake which emitted scents in the whole environment of pavilion with their sweet flavours. From Fatehbad the welcome gates up to Sirsa were erected for welcoming the Sadh Sangat with congratulatory messages on account of birthday ceremony.On both the sides of roads many different flags of Sarv Dharam Sammelan and electric strings of different colours were congratulating the incoming Devotees.SAADH SANGAT KEPT ON DANCING ALL NIGHTOn the Bhandara night Sadh Sangat expressed their merriment by dancing in their own way. The groups of youths danced their heart out with Bhangra on the beats of drum. On the other side sisters enjoyed through ‘Jago’ and ‘Gidhdha’ based on the ‘ Bolies’ of birthday celebrations.The Sadh Sangat of country and abroad participated in the merriment of Bhandara through internet. Zee Jagran Television showed direct telecast of Bhandara from night 8.15 pm to 1.00 am in the morning and broadcasted the message of Bhandara throughout the world over.BLOCKS HONOURED IN THE MORNING OF 25TH JANUARY MORNING AS WELLThe prominent blocks extending human welfare works like donating body after death, sevadars of Shah Satnam Ji Green Welfare Force Wing and brilliant male and female students of Shah Satnam Ji educational institutions were also decorated with medals and priceless gifts on Sunday morning Sat sang.Nihal Singh wala block of Punjab state remained 3rd on account of social services like, blood donation, cash, cloth and ration distribution, tree plantation. Block sevadars spent Rs. 38,62, 500 on social welfare schemes. In Delhi State Badarpur block remained 3rd by spending Rs 23,44, 356,and 59 unit blood donation, 400 trees plantation , 2347 aspirants granted Guru mantra and distribution of ration to 42 families.In Haryana State Cheeka block remained 3rd by spending Rs 66, 78, 825 on public welfare schemes, donating 245 units of blood, planting 300 plants, and distributing ration to 216 families. Dera Followers’ wholehearted assistance in relief and rescue

As the work of saving life from the wreckage of filled buildings, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda forgetting their hunger and thirst take to the relief and rescue of others.

In one such wreckage in Greater Noida’s Shahberi village last year on 19th July, relief and rescue work and evacuation of people in Building Disasters going on at war level by these volunteers. Walking on the inspiring sermons of his Holiness Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji, the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, ​​the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green SWelfare Force Wing took turns to remove debris with the help of large machines. The morning and early morning relief and rescue work continued till late at night.

Meanwhile, the number of people killed in the accident were rising. Seeing the demolished building, the chances of the survivors of the debris was diminishing, but the rescue operation was in progress with the hope of saving lives. With scorching heat casting its loom, hundreds of volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing of Dera Sacha Sauda from various blocks including Dadri, Surajpur, Ghaziabad, Danakaur, Bulandshahr, Meerut, Nawada participated in relief work along with NDRF will be able to save lives.

Praising the passionate services of the volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji GreenS Welfare Force Wing, NDRF Deputy Commandant Begraj Meena said that the zeal of the Dera Sauda volunteers is commendable and these people are cooperating with us wholeheartedly in difficult times.

Arrangements for food and water for victims

Dera Sacha Sauda not only helped to remove debris but also provided every other possible help to the families of the victims. Arrangements of food and drinking water were also made for the victims by various blocks including Ghaziabad. Undoubtedly this convenience of food and water to the victims at this hour is priceless service by these volunteers.

These volunteers included 45 member Tekram Insan, 45member Narendra Insan, Dr. Madan Lal Insan, Swaraj Insan, Atar Singh Insan, Shiv Kumar Insan, Pratap Insaan, Rajpal Insan, Dharam Pal Chauhan Insan,Mahendrapal Insan , Jagdish Insan, Sanjay Insan, Mamraj Insan, Omkar Insan, Radheshyam, Rajendra Insan among many others.

Mission Fateh(victory) on Humanity- DSS

Fatehveer Singh, a 2-year-old boy, who fell in a used bore in the fields of Bhagwanpura near the village near Sunam in Sanguru Punjab, is battling the battle of life and death for the last 90 hours. People everywhere are praying to God for a safe return of Fatehveer Singh. Dera Sacha Sauda and a large number of other social activists along with NDRF team are working towards the rescue of little soul. DSS Volunteers have been appreciated a lot for their unmatched efforts to coordinate the rescue operation in view of scorching heat, and excessively dry climate. Some 2000 volunteers were present here by the end of day 3 and as day 4 drew to an end, this number reached close to 3000. They are looking after food requirements and hydration needs through water and various other means.

Hundreds are working in rescue operation directly digging, going inside the borewell, taking out mud, etc. In fact, these volunteers have been trained in such a manner that their coordinated efforts are well known and the same is visible here. They are working in shifts to make sure, work goes on non-stop even during nights. Members from NDRF team to have been awestruck with these followers of Baba Ram Rahim Ji. It is worth mentioning that a large number of members of Shah Satnam Jee Green S Welfare Force Wing have been engaged in relief operations since 6th June evening and they are busy with this work for 4 day and nights non-stop. Talking about this, 45 employees of Dera Sacha Sauda, ​​Harindra Insan, Baldev Krishna Insan, Rimpan Insaan from Block Sunam said that as soon as they found out about the incident, all of them immediately reached the spot and gathered to support rescue operations.

What is heartwarming is that constant prayers are on, in the Sangrur Namcharcha ghar, as per the teachings of his holiness Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan for a safe and sound return of young fatehveer. Prayers and meditation were also conducted as part of the weekly naamcharcha at Dera Sacha Sauda's Sirsa Ashram on Sunday for fatehveer’s safe return. Speaking about this, Ghanasham Kansal, President of Sangrur Industrial Chamber said that the manner in which work is being done by devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda for the last 96 hours is unmatched. He said that the Dera devotees are constantly engaged in efforts to save Fatehvir He hoped that everyone's hard work will definitely reap results and we would be able to celebrate the birthday of Fateh which incidentally falls today. And every heart is waiting to hear the news of Fateh veer’s miraculous return from the bore of death. Dera Followers fill 200 ft. Crack in Ghaggar River

Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing of Dera Sacha Sauda Once again turned angels for the people in difficulties. Hundreds of Dera followers filled the 200ft wide crack in the Ghaggar near Phoolad village near Moonak with the help of the Indian Army, NDRF, MNREGA workers and local farmers. Although during this time the water of Ghaggar reached the city while destroying thousands of acres of farmers.

Ghaggar River overflows every year

The only difference is the coasts are different sometimes it may be a break on the east side or the west side. Although at this time too, not much of arrangements were made from their side. Just a boat and the teams. The nets were built by Dera followers themselves. What has been done now when Ghaggar was on its full mode, could have arranged a lot earlier. It is surprising how the Govts. And authorities can spend crores as compensation packages, which are again doubtful, do they really? Or just announce and forget, and not want to spend money and manpower on making proper arrangements in time. “A stitch in time saves nine” seems to be totally forgotten by our policymakers.

As usual, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh visited the flood-affected area and took stock of the situation and promised to do every possible help. The local people appreciated the efforts of the Dera followers and said that in reality, the Dera followers are angels, in today’s time, the way these people came together and helped, is amazing. While the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda are no doubt amazing, but more so it is their beloved Master Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji, who has made them what they are today. It is his efforts and belief that these volunteers are polished into bright diamonds working tirelessly for humanity.

Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing Members

Dera Sacha Sauda Volunteers as part of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing members again proved to be saviors for the thousands of people of Punjab, near Munak village where Ghaggar river was out on a rampage breaking all temporary dams. The river had caused a breach in a 10 ft crack taking it 200 ft. Thus the fields were being destroyed one after the other and dozens of villages were submerging.

Hundreds of Dera followers finally filled the 200ft wide crack with the help of the Indian Army, NDRF, MNREGA workers and local farmers, working non-stop for the past 6 days. Building iron meshes and using thousands of dirtbags, the crack was contained by these relentless volunteers, when the administration had given up citing technical issues. All due to Revered Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan’s remarkable training and motivation we have such passionate followers, every heart is filled with gratitude for these amazing warriors.

Dera Followers continue fight with Ghaggar River

The Ghaggar river has taken a vivid form on the fourth day. Flood shave started rising towards cities and towns. There is a fear among villagers as water levels are rising all over. Due to the negligence of the administration, there has been no significant success in filling the crack that had widened to 200 ft, from just 10 feet earlier. Although, the dam construction work is on, by the volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing, day and night so this crack can be filled.

Water has begun to accumulate along the wall disconnecting Munak completely, and water has accumulated around many villages.

Shah Satnam Ji’s Green S Welfare Force Force Wing’s volunteers are here right from the first day and contributing towards keeping Ghaggar river contained with their efforts. Relief operations are underway for 4 days and today trying to re-establish the banks of Ghaggar. It is expected that the work will be completed soon, with given the situation, it seems likely that tomorrow will be fulfilled.

Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers are here from different blocks of district Sangrur and various other parts of Haryana as well. These volunteers of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji are never behind when emergencies like these creep up, and the training that these volunteers receive is much appreciated by the people. Many lives can be saved if the right minds are on the job with their experience and practical training. Once again, Baba Ram Rahim Ji’s followers are making sure Ghaggar’s fury can be controlled as soon as possible.

They are cement bags etc to fill the dam and nets made of iron rods, have been constructed by volunteers in Naamcharcha Ghar which are used to build the dam. The administration along with Army and NDRF too, are on their toes, but the river’s flow is making the job difficult. And they are using a single boat, to ferry across with the material to fill the dams. It is indeed a tedious job and in the meantime, Ghaggar is flowing incessantly in neighboring villages destroying thousands of acres of land which has lacs worth of crops. The villagers are really upset and rightfully so when you grow crops with so many efforts and take care of the same, saving them from every blow, those crops are destroyed in just some hours, is really painful for the farmers. We only hope that the Govt. takes a lesson this time.

Saving Villages from Submerging floods by Dss

Munak village in Sangrur is facing a crisis situation, where water from Ghaggar river is flowing 10 ft above its level, and all the small villages are submerging in it. The villagers along with the NDRF team and Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers from Shah Satnam Ji Green S welfare force wing are on their toes, trying to tie dams to stop water from overflowing. There was a 10 ft gap in this part of the region, where the river flows, which has now widened to 200 ft. making flooding the neighboring villages.

Shah Satnam Ji Green S volunteers were once again given a call by the local authorities to provide assistance in this critical situation. These volunteers from Dera Sacha Sauda are trained to handle such situations by Baba Ram Rahim Ji Himself. Although it had rained two days back and no trace of rains now, the river is already filled due to heavy pouring a day earlier. And the water now is all over, threatening to enter nearby villages endangering the lives of thousands of residents staying there. The villagers meanwhile are using all their might to prevent this meltdown in their houses.

Reached for help in Oriya colony in Bathinda

Two days back when Bathinda’s Oriya colony was reeling under floods like situation, these same followers of Baba Ram Rahim Ji reached the area with packets of food and other essential needs for the locals there. These local residents were forced to stay indoors for the past 2 days due to rains and the area flooded badly. Followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and members of Shah Satnam Ji.

These volunteers have always assisted in similar situations in the past too. A couple of years earlier, when a similar situation was faced in Sirsa, these volunteers did not allow a single drop of water reach the city, with their undeterred actions. They are definitely a force to reckon with and what is worth mentioning is their spirit to fight such situations. Their spirit to save lives gives them this strength to rise up to any challenge. Apart from these, volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji welfare force wing get training to provide relief and rescue in any crisis or disaster situation.

Be it a fire breakout, or floods, Tsunami or an earthquake these heroes can take it all. And with the best of their capabilities, these guys can give the NDRF to tough competition with their exceptional skills. What makes them special is their sheer will to succeed and saves as many lives as possible.

Dera Followers help the victims in waterlogged

Since Wednesday morning, Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers were busy preparing the food.

This is the result of wonderful teachings of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, to millions of volunteers across the Globe, on the basis of which volunteers flock from far off places to perform their duty towards humanity.

After incessant rains in Bathinda, Devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda provided food and other relief items to the residents who had to stay hungry on Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to nonstop rains for 2 days, the city was on the verge of flooding. Later the rainwater was lodged in the Oriya Colony near the thermal plant, after which Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing of Dera Sacha Sauda delivered food to the families affected by waterlogging. The local administration had made an appeal to the volunteers to provide food and related necessities as the area was reeling under issues and residents could not venture out.

Oriya Colony worse Hit:

Oriya colony near the thermal Plant is hit with waterlogging every season and is the worst affected in the city of Bathinda. The majority of families in this colony could not get food until Tuesday evening. In view of the crisis faced by the Colony, SDM Bathinda had sought cooperation from the social parties of the city. The administration entrusted the service of delivering food to Uriya Colony to Dera Sacha Sauda. After which the sisters started preparing meals in different parts of the city since Wednesday morning. After which the members under the guidance of Meer Gurbhel Singh Insan, went to the colony and distributed food.

The colony residents thanked the volunteers for their service

The residents were relieved to receive help from these volunteers, as they were running without food or any other commodities since Tuesday. And it would have been really tough for them to spend the next day without food or water. Thanks to the volunteers, their woes ended soon and they also thanked rev. Guru Ji Baba Ram Rahim Ji for enthusing this wonderful spirit in these followers. It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, in Bathinda, 130 mm rain caused the flood-like situation remained. Even though the administration could remove water from some areas, but heavy rains followed, worsening the situation.

The Teenage Warriors

Teenage is the time when one could take the fire and brimstone path and mar one’s future. Increasingly, this age group is being associated with defiance, disrespect and tasting the tragic pleasures of sin. Teenagers, after all, are mini-adults, with the rush of hormones and without the benefit of experience and hindsight. And in times when adults have lost their way in the maze of immorality and intoxicants, the teenagers cannot be expected to do, too well. It’s the environment that one learns from.

But, there is a different world within this world, quite unlike the one that one sees in ‘Masala’ movies. This is a world full of everyday deeds of heroism, of sacrifice and valor, of self-control and purity. Above all, a world where people live, breathe and act with the sole purpose of Selfless Service unto others. Surprised, aren’t you?

Yes, there is a world where children have overtaken everyone in rendering social service. There is a world where children have risen to international heights in sporting excellence, there is a world where children have volunteered to sacrifice their time and money, and not just that, they have pledged to put their lives on the line to help humanity.

The teenage wing of the Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force wing was raised by His Holiness Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan on 10th January, The children had been persistently demanding socio-humanitarian agency of their own. The adults might have thought that the youngsters would not find any time away from the internet and video games, but they were proven wrong.

As Guru Ji announced that the legal process for adding the teenage wing had been completed and announced its name, it triggered and flurry of activity. Says, Dr. Dilawar Insan, the Principal of SaintMSG Glorious International School, “My phone kept on buzzing with anxious parents calling me up for the forms. The warden came running as the hostellers were threatening to skip their meals if the forms were not provided.” Nodding in agreement, Sheela Poonia of Shah Satnam Ji.

Girls School says that they were quite surprised to see the hordes queuing and clamoring for the forms.

If one asks the children, they exude wisdom much beyond their years. Says thirteen-year-old Ananya, “Guruji has always inspired us for Selfless Service. And I know we can do a better job than anyone else.” His mother, Dr.Monika, a corneal transplant surgeon adds that ever since her husband, Dr. Swapnil, a plastic surgeon, came back from the UttrakhandRelief Mission, Ananya had been fired up with zeal to be a member of the next relief mission.

Suditya, a dreamy-eyed kid, told his mother, that he could climb mountains and carry loads for the distressed, much better than his father as he loved climbing. His sister, Janki, who has been assisting her mother, a blood bank officer, wants to help out in the mobile hospital, Farishta. This unique hospital, designed by Guruji, was the most advanced health facility in Guptkashi during its sojourn following the tragedy.

The Shah Satnamji Institutions, inspired by Guruji, have been making major contributions and sending relief supplies following natural calamities. Mentally Challenged Finds His Long Lost Smile Back

Abohar when someone is separated from their loved one, their pain can only be felt by those, who have dealt with that loss in the past. We have seen countless mentally retarded men and women roaming on the roads and they keep roaming like this for the rest of their lives, most of them are unable to reunite with their loved ones again.

The volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing run under the aegis of Dera Sacha Sauda from block Khuian Sarwar. This person was found in a very bad condition wandering in the market. Dera Followers brought him to the Namcharcha Ghar close by, and after bathing provided him clean clothes and fed him with their own hands. But he was not in a position to tell the whereabouts of his family.

Revered Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan understood the pain of these unfortunate souls and started a campaign called ‘humanity’ for the welfare of such souls. On the call of Rev, Guruji, millions came forward to look after and reunite mentally retarded people with their loved ones.

Till the time, Dera Followers do not know the whereabouts of their relatives, they take care of them are provided treatment and complete care and later handed over to their family in the presence of personnel from the administration.

Brought the precious smile back on his face

The Dera followers Amrit Insan said that the young man, who was found in the Khuiyan Sarwar found in the market was struck with hunger and wandering in torn clothes. People were going past him, but no one bothered to look at him. But when the Dera followers saw him in this condition, they paused to help him and he was brought to Namcharcha char and with proper cleansing and feeding a shaving session was conducted and, when his face was shaved, he was wearing a smile on his face, as he was craving love and affection for years. And we can only thank Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji for motivating us towards such welfare initiatives and saving his dear children from such state.

Hunt for the family:

Volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda, ​Bhushan Insan, Ram Lal Insan, Shinda Inns, Paramjeet Insan started the process to look out for a ​family member of this young boy found wandering on streets. Dera followers have started looking for family, with the help of the police station Chowki in charge of the area. Block Bhangidas Jogindar Bajaj said that with the help of police administration, the assistance of social service organizations from the area​will also be taken for the search of a family of this mentally challenged young boy. The photo of the young man is being shared on the Whatsapp Group so those who know him, may be able to identify him.

It’s crazy how Baba Ram Rahim Ji’s volunteer army, is never out of job, and looking after strays, environment, pitching in for any needy soul, is their only purpose in life. And this purpose definitely supersedes everything else. And we only hope this purpose and mission of millions soon finds its way through the rest of the Nation.

Now birds will not Die of Hunger and Thirst

Thousands of Dera followers in Faridabad district’s weekly Namcharcha pledged to save birds by arranging for water and feed for them.

On Sunday, devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda in the village Sikri Namcharcha Ghar of Prithala, situated on the national highway, assembled for weekly NaamCharcha. During this time, the followers repeated the promise of arranging feed and water on the rooftops for the birds, who are forced to manage in this scorching heat.

Thousands of bowls distributed by volunteers

Following the teachings of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, thousands of bowls were distributed by volunteers in various blocks in Haryana, on 7th July as well as 14th July’s Naamcharcha Program. The followers have taken the initiative to the next level with their efforts and dedication. Last week’s NaamCharcha program saw more than 7000 bowls distributed in various areas, so people are inspired to take care of birds, in every area.

Apart from this, the Dera followers have also pledged to plant trees in large quantities for environmental protection and every year in August, this pledge is followed by volunteers across the globe. And millions of trees are planted as a gift to Rev. Guru Saint Ram Rahim Ji on his pious birthday. Rev. Guru Ji has asked his followers if they really want to give something to him as a mark of respect, then they should plant trees, and this is the best gift for him.

Undertake tree plantation at war footing level

Tree plantation goes a long way in taking care of the environment and getting the planet rid of increasing pollution. About 134 welfare activities are being run by the Dera Sacha Sauda followers taking care of every segment of society.  As per the devotees, implementing the teachings of Rev. Guru Ji Baba Ram Rahim Ji, all the seekers perform good deeds at every opportunity.

Untiring Services to flood-affected Jammu & Kashmir

Nature’s fury at its worst shook the whole state and thousands left without food, water, and shelter. The situation in J&K has worsened as more areas have become submerged in flood waters. Dera Sacha Sauda has endeavored to return normalcy there and has rendered a healing touch to the victims. The relief operations are started in Kulgam District by the Dera volunteers and Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing. They have distributed the relief material in Kilam Gund, Chham Gun, and Adigotan. Noteworthy, this aid is being provided to the flood-affected people since Sept. 22, 2014, by Dera Sacha Sauda with military cooperation. Colonel P.S. Jamwal, ADC Nisar Ahmad, and Police Superintendent Mumtaj Ahmad let this campaign to get started.

The campaign of relief material distribution was commenced simultaneously from these three areas. In Kilam Gund village, Dera Sacha Sauda’s spokesperson Dr. Aditya Insan, 45 member Chandi Ram Insan and Satish Insan besides 9 R R Colonel P.S. Jamwal, ADC Kulgam (Nisar Ahmad) and Police superintendent Mumtaj Ahmad let this campaign started by saying the Holy Slogan (Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra).

Further to it, in Chham Gun, and Adigotan village relief and rescue operations were started by Devsar Tahasildar Bilar Ahmad, Tahasildar Sakit Husain, Police Station Officer Manjur Ahmad. Also, they expressed sincere thanks and regards to Revered Guruji and appreciated the zealous efforts of Dera volunteers. A sustained door to door campaign of aid distribution was carried out by this dedicated team. The team of doctors also rendered their services to the needy one and medicines were distributed. In Kilam Gund, people were queued up at the establishment relief camp to get the relief material. The victims were now having the rays of hope to survive. They were happy to see that God has sent angels to assist them.

Before commencing the relief work, the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing went to every home and had a meeting with the people at Shivpura, Batwara, and India Nagar (Srinagar), Kilam Gund (Kulgam), Chham Gun, Adigotan, Areh, Anantnag and many other affected areas.

Moreover, the team members had a meeting with the District DC Farukh Puri, Police Superintendent Mumtaj Ali and CRPF Commando Brijesh Partap Singh and narrated the complete detail about the welfare works being pursued by Dera Sacha Sauda. On listening to these wondrous humanitarian activities they conveyed their deep sense of gratitude to Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. They also promised to cooperate them in every possible manner for this noble cause. Relief Commissioner Shailender Prasad, Divisional Commissioner Rohit Kansal, and many other officers from Sri Nagar said, “Dera Sacha Sauda has extended the helping hand with an extensive level. During this tight corner, we have not got any other such team and relief aid at par to this organization.” During the relief material distribution camp, Devsar Police and local residents also helped along with the Indian Army and CRPF. Police station officer Manjur Ahmad, Sarpanch Gul Mohammad (Kilam Gund), Sarpanch Kamruddin (Chham Gun), Sarpanch Washir Ahmad (Adi Gautam), and few other dignitaries were present.

They took all necessary care of the population of these areas including the supply of food materials, medicines, and other necessities. A big number of the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda are engaged day and night to implement and speed up the relief measures.

It is difficult to see the parallels of this organized activity in the relief operations. It is furthermore impressive to learn that Dera Sacha Sauda is running the activities at such a large scale with its own hard earned money without accepting any donations from anybody.

The relief material is sent to Kilam Gund, Adigotan and Chham Gun villages of Kulgam.

The relief material includes ration, utensils, blankets, medicines and mineral water. Rations include flour, rice, pulses, sugar, tea, salt, chilly, seasoning, mustard oil, etc.

The Teenage Warriors: Dera Sacha Sauda

Teenage is the time when one could take the fire and brimstone path and mar one's future. Increasingly, this age group is being associated with defiance, disrespect and tasting the tragic pleasures of sin. Teenagers, after all, are mini adults, with the rush of hormones and without the benefit of experience and hindsight. And in times when adults have lost their way in the maze of immorality and intoxicants, the teenagers cannot be expected to do, too well. It’s the environment that one learns from.

But, there is a different world within this world, quite unlike the one that one sees in ‘Masala’ movies. This is a world full of everyday deeds of heroism, of sacrifice and valor, of self-control and purity. Above all, a world where people live, breathe and act with the sole purpose of Selfless Service unto others. Surprised, aren’t you?

Yes, there is a world where children have overtaken everyone in rendering social service. There is a world where children have risen to international heights in sporting excellence, there is a world here children have volunteered to sacrifice their time and money, and not just that, they have pledged to put their lives on the line to help humanity.

The adults might have thought that the youngsters would not find any time away from the internet and video games, but they were proven wrong.

As Guruji announced that the legal process for adding the teenage wing had been completed and announced its name, it triggered and flurry of activity. Says, Dr. Dilawar Insan, the Principal of Saint MSG Glorious International School, “My phone kept on buzzing with anxious parents calling me up for the forms. The warden came running as the hostellers were threatening to skip their meals if the forms were not provided.” Nodding in agreement, Sheela Poonia of Shah Satnamji Girls School says that they were quite surprised to see the hordes queuing and clamoring for the forms.

If one asks the children, they exude wisdom much beyond their years. Says thirteen-year-old Ananya, “Guruji has always inspired us for Selfless Service. And I know we can do a better job than anyone also.” His mother, Dr. Monika, a corneal transplant surgeon adds that ever since her husband, Dr. Swapnil, a plastic surgeon, came back from the Uttarakhand relief Mission, Ananya had been fired up with zeal to be a member of the next relief mission. Suditya, a dreamy-eyed kid, told his mother, that he could climb mountains and carry loads for the distressed, much better than his father as he loved climbing. His sister, Janki, who has been assisting her mother, a blood bank officer, wants to help out in the mobile hospital, Farishta. This unique hospital, designed by Guruji, was the most advanced health facility in Guptkashi during its sojourn following the tragedy.
