See Your Love has wrapped filming!
From Lin Pey Yu, the screenwriter for HIStory 2 and 3, We Best Love and My Tooth, Your Love and directed by Chiang Ping Chen of Plus & Minus, the show follows the story of Zi Xiang (Lin Yu), a third-generation heir who is trying to escape his responsibilities. However his life takes a sudden turn when he falls in love for Shao Peng (Jin Yu), a nurse with hearing-impairment. It's currently scheduled for a 6-episodes run later this year.
fun fact: Lin Yu (1.78m /5"10) revealed that he needs to tilt his head up when filming with Jin Yu (1.90m /6"3).

Different from conventional and traditional sculptures, she makes her art intuitively without consciously planning the overall shape and structure. As Hung describes, she “uses crocheting techniques which she learned at a young age from her grandmother to carefully weave stiff metal fibers into silky, organic forms. Her net-like creations, which radiate warmth from every knotted strand of bright, translucent copper, exude a unique sense of space, as if encapsulating an entire self-sufficient microcosm. At the outset of the creative process, she simply follows her instincts, without a desired form in mind, weaving over and over in seemingly random fashion until each piece comes to life”. As she meticulously weaves enameled copper wire, she explores through a sensation of familiarity, as if these afterimages from her memories shape the creations of ‘Déjà Vu’. There’s some spoilers, please skip this post if you haven’t finished the drama ;-) 「最後我想要聊一下….就是圈套這個….我們要給人家的一個….其實很重要…..我想要丟出來的東西,其實很重要就是執念啦.其實我覺得整部戲的代表性的人物就是他(指向陳家逵,飾演陳文浩)跟他(指向吳承洋,飾演唐毅).因為他們其實,其實父子倆真的…..『你不要犯跟我一樣的錯』、『你不要跟我走一樣的路』,其實真的因為…其實你回頭來看很多東西其實唐毅就是繼承陳文浩的後路,他們都帶著某一種執念,他人生只為了那個執念活下來,你回過頭來看那個執念,其實不見得是值得的,而且可能造成一種遺憾,當你人生走到最後的時候,他連一聲爸爸都沒有叫,這其實真的就是因為執念產生的很大的遺憾,所以其實我相信觀眾朋友還有很多人….我相信很多人現在心中可能都有某一些執念或過不去的東西,真的希望藉由這個故事可以教會大家,如果唐毅他在最後的時候,他終於放下心中的執念、他終於打開心胸,他的人生重新開始,故事的結尾其實是唐毅人生的重新來過,我希望每一個觀眾,如果你們的人生剛好走到某一個關卡,剛好走到某一個執念裡面的時候,也希望你們能夠像唐毅這樣,能夠找到一個點、一個位置重新開始.少飛是一個完美的角色,說實在,我覺得現實生活中不太可能有少飛,我覺得啦,他是被塑造出來一個滿完美的角色,然後其實真的比較真實的角色是唐毅,就是在人生裡面、現實生活中,那我覺得這就是一個很好的…….唐毅因為有了少飛,所以他在這麼執念的人生裡面才能夠被打開,然後才能夠被改變.所以我會很希望現實生活當中的每一個人,如果你是少飛的話,你身邊如果有一個像唐毅這樣的人,不管是愛人,或者是朋友,希望你能多給他一點溫暖.希望你們能夠多鼓勵唐毅,讓唐毅能夠打開心胸、擁抱愛,然後去迎接新的人生.那如果你的生命是像唐毅這樣子的,也很希望你的身邊剛好有一個少飛,然後你就可以很快地打開心胸,然後可以重新過更好的人生.如果還沒有遇到,我希望不要對自己太絕望,也不要對自己太嚴厲,希望大家都能夠稍微對自己好一點,因為有一天你的少飛就應該會出現在你身邊.我覺得現在社會氛圍還有大家的生活有時候不是很容易,有些人可能人生都剛好在一個不是很好的狀態裡頭,很希望我們最後這個戲丟出來很正向的東西,希望戲裡頭每一組的愛情,或者每一組的人生、每一個人的人生,大家…都丟給大家一個比較正向的思考,不管怎麼樣都要勇敢的、努力的去擁抱別人給你的愛,或者你把你的愛帶給別人,大家都要勇敢的往下走.這是圈套其實在後面很重要很重要,想要帶給觀眾朋友的,然後想要鼓勵大家.就像唐毅人生新的開始一樣.這個就是真的非常想要拿出來鼓勵現在所有社會上,不管是任何一個年齡層,你的生活不OK,希望能夠得到一些鼓勵跟安慰這樣子,謝謝.」—”圈套“導演李青蓉 “Lastly I would like to talk about….what Trapped….what we want to show everyone….the very important thing is “obsession”. Actually the most representative characters through out the whole series are him (pointed at Chen Chia Kuei, starred as Chen Wen Hao) and him (pointed at Chris Wu, starred as Tang Yi). They, really, the father and son….”Don’t make the same mistake as I did.”,”Don’t walk the same path as I did.” It’s really because… When you look back, Tang Yi was actually walking the same road as Chen Wen Hao did. Both of them carried some kind of obsession. They live for that obsession. When you look back, that obsession doesn’t necessarily worth it. And it might cause some kind of regret. When your life came to an end, he (the son) has not even call you father once. This is actually a really huge regret caused by obsession. Therefore, I believe that a lot of the audience/people… I believe that a lot of people might have some kind of obsession or facing some difficulties right now. Really hope that this story could teach everyone that, if Tang Yi, he finally let go of the obsession in heart, he finally opened his heart, his life starts all over again. The ending of the story is actually the restart of Tang Yi’s life. I hope each of the audience that, if your life right now is facing a struggle, is now walking into an obsession situation, (I) hope that you could be like Tang Yi, to find a spot, a place (for you) to restart. Shao Fei is a perfect character, to be honest. I don’t think it’s possible that Shao Fei (this kind of person) exists in real life, I think, he’s modeled to be a perfect character. And actually the character that is more realistic is Tang Yi. (I mean) in the real life, in the daily life. And I think it is a quite good…. Because Tang Yi had Shao Fei, he (his heart/life) then could be opened in this very “obsession” life, and then could be changed. Therefore, I do really hope that everyone in real world, if you’re (like) Shao Fei, and if there’s a person like Tang Yi around you, no matter he/she’s a lover or a friend, Hope that you could give him/her some warmth. Hope that you could encourage (the one who’s like) Tang Yi. So that (the one who’s like) Tang Yi could open his/her heart, and embrace love, then welcome a new life. And if you’re life is like Tang Yi’s, really hope that there’s already a Shao Fei being around you. So that you could open your heart very quickly, then could live a better life. If you haven’t met (someone like Shao Fei), I hope that (you) don’t be too desperate, and don’t be too harsh on yourself. Wish that everyone could treat yourself a little better, ‘cause one day your Shao Fei would eventually show up in your life. I think the social climate nowadays and people’s daily lives are not that easy sometimes. Some people might now be in a not so good situation. Really hope that we threw out some positive stuff at the end of the drama, hope that each couple’s love in the drama, or each of the couple’s life, each of the character’s life, everyone… could give everyone a much more positive thinking. No matter what, to be brave, to embrace the love from others with your best, or to give your love to others. Everyone has to walk down (their own path) courageously. It’s actually the very important message what “Trapped” would like to show the audience at the end, (which is) hoping to encourage everyone, just like the start of Tang Yi’s brand new life. This is what (I/we) really want to encourage people with in this society nowadays. No matter what generation (you are), (if) your life is not OK, hope (you) could receive some courage and comfort. Thank you.

輕盈的青鳥就像人類,承受地球環境日漸嚴峻的反撲壓迫,23:59 已然逼近。設計師是否還有創造改變的機會?
The concept of Golden Pin Design Award this year is “Gala @ 23:59,”which raises awareness about the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Bito wants to inspire the design community to take urgent action for sustainability by following #SDGs. We believe that positivity is essential to overcoming this apocalyptic challenge we all face together, and therefore he calls it a “Gala”, linking it together with the time “23:59” to signify the last moment before a new dawn.
The blue bird is like human, undertaking the pressure by severe changes on earth. “23:59” is ticking, do designers really have a chance to change this?

FEW CHILDREN grow up dreaming of being a commuter. But there is a logic to a life spent between a city job and a home in some quiet, affordable spot. The first modern suburbs sprang up to greet trains puffing out of Victorian London. As countries such as Japan, France and Spain invested in high-speed trains, travelling at 250kph or more, new pairs of cities found themselves an hour or so apart, allowing for previously unthinkable commutes.

Now it is China’s turn. Planners did not have commuters in mind when they began building the world’s largest high-speed rail system just over a decade ago. They started with national trunk lines and regional spurs, to bind together a vast country and boost growth. Now, with more than 35,000km of lines laid, planners are building more intercity routes, creating conditions for fast, short hops. One study in 2018, using mobile-phone data to track movements, found tens of thousands of people commuting from neighbouring cities into Shanghai, a megalopolis of 24m. Most of them came from Suzhou, a historic city half an hour away by fast train.
Last year the Journal of Transport & Health, an international outlet, published a survey of such pioneering riders. The typical respondent was a married man with one or two children, a middling-to-high income and a university degree. Three-quarters became long-distance commuters only after the arrival of high-speed rail. More of them describe intercity travel as a route to a better job than to a higher quality of life. Indeed, many call commuting stressful, and something to do “when they are young”, notes a co-author of the survey, Chia-Lin Chen of the University of Liverpool. China’s high-speed railways do not sell season tickets to commuters, who must often scramble to secure daily tickets on trains meant for long-distance travellers. Moreover, to promote newly built districts, high-speed railway stations are often built far from existing city centres, obliging commuters to travel long distances from stations to workplaces. All this exacts a toll on marriages and families, says Ms Chen.
The Xiao Langfang housing complex is a cluster of apartment blocks in the small, nondescript city of Langfang, 60km from central Beijing. It is an excellent base for commuting—a seven-minute walk from a high-speed railway stop that is, in turn, a 21-minute ride from Beijing South station. The one-way fare is 28 yuan ($4.33). It is a friendly spot. On a mid-week afternoon, its landscaped grounds are thronged with children flying kites, yapping lapdogs and old women playing cards in the winter sun. Above all, here in the northern province of Hebei, just outside Beijing’s city limits, property is cheap. Apartments in Xiao Langfang sell for 15,000 yuan a square metre. A comparable flat in Beijing could easily cost six times as much.
Shao Zeyu, a young father playing with his five-year-old son in the compound’s gardens, met his wife in Beijing and rented a home with her there for years. They left the capital after their child was born. Mr Shao’s legally registered hometown is Langfang, while his wife is from Tianjin, a nearby coastal city. Mr Shao’s mother lives in Langfang, so she can offer both love and free child care. But the family faced constraints, too. It is very hard to obtain a new household-registration permit, or hukou, from Beijing, a city that Chinese leaders consider full. Without a Beijing hukou, the Shao family could not easily gain access to many public services in that city, including school places. So they left.
The train has been a boon. Initially, his wife carpooled from Langfang to her job in northern Beijing. She left at 5:30am and reached her desk before most colleagues, allowing her to return home early to see her son. In bad traffic the journey could take three hours each way, and left her exhausted. The fast train to Beijing enables her to leave home at seven. That makes the Shao family lucky. Many friends work such brutal hours, until nine or ten each evening, that they come home only at weekends. Mr Shao himself used to work similar hours for a computer-games firm in Beijing, and is now looking for a job he can do locally. Because Tianjin is affordable and offers better schools and an easier route to university, the family expects to move there when their son is older. Mr Shao’s wife plans to commute by train from Tianjin.
In China working nine-to-five is a luxury
Such hyper-mobility is new in China. The government is promoting a new form of urban development that embraces multi-city clusters, including one uniting Beijing and Tianjin. But the aim is to make it more appealing to live in a wider range of secondary cities and new towns, not to create alternative routes to work in central Beijing. In 2016 the Communist Party boss of Hebei said that Langfang “absolutely cannot become a dormitory town for those who work in Beijing”. Indeed, China’s tax system currently punishes commuter towns. Someone who works in Beijing pays taxes and social-security contributions into the capital’s coffers, even when sleeping each night in Langfang. Locals murmur that officials in Langfang blocked moves to call a housing development “Shouzhan”, meaning “First Stop” on the line from Beijing.
The authorities in Langfang want new residents to live and work in their city. They recently eased restrictions on outsiders buying property there, allowing them to invest if they make six months’ worth of social-security payments to Langfang’s fund (on top of payments made elsewhere). But Langfang should be realistic, suggests a local property-salesman. He calls his home town a place where newlyweds and those starting families will choose to live until they can afford to move on.
In truth, Langfang’s greatest asset is being a convenient stop on the way to bigger places. That is a puzzle for officials rewarded for developing the place under their charge, not for facilitating the restless ambitions of individuals. China’s high-speed railways are a spectacular economic achievement. Their impact on society may prove as dramatic, if officials allow it.■

Different from conventional and traditional sculptures, she makes her art intuitively without consciously planning the overall shape and structure. As Hung describes, she “uses crocheting techniques which she learned at a young age from her grandmother to carefully weave stiff metal fibers into silky, organic forms. Her net-like creations, which radiate warmth from every knotted strand of bright, translucent copper, exude a unique sense of space, as if encapsulating an entire self-sufficient microcosm. At the outset of the creative process, she simply follows her instincts, without a desired form in mind, weaving over and over in seemingly random fashion until each piece comes to life”. As she meticulously weaves enameled copper wire, she explores through a sensation of familiarity, as if these afterimages from her memories shape the creations of ‘Déjà Vu’.
