I always struggle to build houses with more than 2-3 bedrooms, but the Fiero legacy house is getting pretty crowded! So I was looking at some floorplans today and got inspired :D

This little suburb is looking cute, but I dunno. Maybe the family would be more comfortable somewhere modern? I can't decide! Moving a legacy family feels like such a commitment, haha. The house has to be perfect...

Wow... it’s a tie! Normally my “tie-breaker” would be going with whoever is the eldest, but since Hallie and Jayden are twins, double heirs it is!!!

Another household I wanted to show off real quick is the Fultons, consisting of Quinn and Teyona Fulton and their two daughters Nancy and Angel.

They're a 100% story progression driven family! I've found story progression to be a little slow to actually get sims starting families without the occasional nudge, but these two got things sorted all on their own, haha!

Here's hoping the Fiero kids will befriend the Fulton kids :D

Hallie doesn't spend too long at the club, feeling a little guilty for leaving in the middle of a kodack family moment. But it can get so stifling in that house. Sometimes she misses the freedom of having no responsibilities.

It's a little awkward when she realizes Matthews new wife Ashley is there (and apparently they just had a baby???) so she spends most of the night chatting to Laila, from college. They never really ran in the same circles, but Laila seems really nice! She's super musical, like Jayden. Hallie makes a mental note to introduce her to her brother some time.

Right, that's all! A couple of other college grads I didn't show: Hallie's lovers Adrian Adams and Joshua Adams (who I only just noticed have the same last name, lmao, maybe they're brothers????) are living with Malik Thompson in a "bro house", Nova Green moved in with Nora (at least until Nora moved in with the Yus), Matthew and Ashley are married with their little girl Hailey (who is a toddler now!) and Laila Ebadi (who Hallie met while clubbing a few nights ago) is living in one of the little beach shacks.

As a side-note, I'm not 100% sure how much I like this Story Progression-y gameplay style. It's nice for stuff like this where I am mainly playing one legacy family, but I find I do have to pop into other households fairly often to get things properly "set up" to my liking. Maybe it'd work best for more established neighbourhoods with a lot of playables (I can see it being really cool for more casual uberhoods). Or maybe it'd work better if I tweaked the romance/marriage/children stuff to happen more frequently?

But I do find I miss playing lots of different houses and having inter-connected stories! Maybe I am just too much of a control-freak and the legacy style of gameplay just isn't for me, haha. (I don't plan on abandoning the Fieros, though!! Just not sure if I'll aim for 10 generations or something more managable, like 5?)

Another funny thing is that Scarlett visited at one point and had a right go at Starla, lmao. She's the one sim in the family who has absolutely not forgiven Starla for breaking her little brother's heart.

she's possibly also not thrilled about Starla getting engaged to her ex, but that's neither here nor there, got it???

Another new development is Starla's brother Erik getting back from college. Both their parents have passed away now, so it's just the Yu siblings and their cats, Bobo & Daisy. If I remember right all three of them are pleasure sims, so they've been going on plenty of dates.

Starla and Nora are still going strong - they actually got engaged recently! So I had Nora move in. I still need to decide what to do with Nora's family - since they're tourists their aging is disabled by default. Hmmmm, we'll see!

They do have other love interests (as werll as Hallie, both have crushes on some former dormies), so it's not entirely suprising they'd take a while to hook up. Emily is the only one with a job, so maybe Ellis is also feeling like a bit of a free-loader right now.

I was starting to consider having Emily get together with Manuel Sanchez or one of the other dormies and leaving Ellis single (or maybe hooking him up with Hallie or the cheerleader).

Buuuuuuut after one too many heart-farts as Emily follows Ellis outside during a party, I decided to give them a little push.

Ellis has a roommate, Emily Bennet, who I was sort of hoping he'd get together with. She's currently working as a teacher's aide and loves gardening.

Despite sharing a bed, sneaking in the occasional cuddle, long lingering glances and constant thought bubbles about each other, though, they're still "just friends".

Little mini "side family" update - thought it'd be nice to check in with Ellis Quinn! As a hopeless romantic he's pretty hung up on Hallie and invites her over, she lets him know she's expecting again and he's probably the father!

Ellis would really like to propose - but she's not subtle about letting them know where they stand (openly kissing Adrian Adams who was also passing by!)

And sorry, wtf, did Matthew somehow convince his wife Ashley to name their daughter Hailey?? "Can we name her after my side piece" "fine but at least change the spelling so it's not too obvious"

Hallie picks up a job in cuisine, at last! She's muddled through adulthood so far, not managing to find a job in her dream career, being set back by an unexpected pregnancy... but now she can finally start getting her life properly on track.

Hallie: Phew, I think he's asleep at last. Thanks for helping him settle down!

Ellis: No prob. Want me to stay over?

Hallie: I would love that! But I was going to work on polishing my resume tonight. I need to actually get myself a job ASAP...

Ellis spends a little time looking after Gabriel and finds himself enamoured. Maybe Hallie and him could make this work, be their own little family...

But no. If she were interested in all that, she'd with the baby's actual father, right? It's not like Ellis was anyone special...

Layla: You know, if you moved in they could be like proper brothers.

Ken: I know, I've thought about it too... but I don't think it's what Hallie wants.

Hallie: (from the next room) Hey, guys?? Could you keep an eye on the kids, pretty please?? I just got an invite Downtown.

Layla: Seriously?? Hallie, we are not-
