Huge fan of the OC 2 Launch Period "shining star is Rashid, Cursed Arm's son" theory because. Lets put it this way

Imagine you're Cursed Arm. You've had a pretty rough life filled with sacrifice that, looking back, wasn't really worth it, but things are fine now. You got a solid job, your boss is nice, you feel like you're doing mostly good things. All round, great.

Imagine you're Ritsuka Fujimaru. Life Is Ok. Things have been rough for a while, but it's fine, right. You have been traveling all over, you got a lot of incredibly cool friends, you're learning a lot of stuff, great opportunity! Everything is fine, yeah.

Then suddenly, as you're just walking around with your colleagues, some boy shows up out of nowhere and almost throws himself at you. Not unusual. But you have no fucking idea who he is. A bit weird, but not unheard of.

Then he starts babbling stuff about you haven't even said to yourself, and you immediately start trying to shut him up.

Imagine you're Shining Star. You're hanging out at some sort of bar for a celebration you got invited to as you moved to a new place. You don't drink, but hey. Then someone you never saw before rolls up to you and starts chatting. You can smell the alcohol on them but they seen very put together and are very charismatic so they're probably not drunk, just tipsy, you think, from what very little you know about drunkenness. They're also very angry and sad about a lot of stuff, but they're emotions you understand well so you hit it off.

Eventually, they ask if you could go to your place and you're nervous, but sure, why not. You talk some more, have some emotional heart-to-heart about stuff, and you don't think you ever felt more understood. After a while, a blond girl knocks on your door asking for Ritsuka, who enthusiastically hugs the girl they call 'Mash', so you just say goodbye and guess you'll never see them again.

Then a couple weeks later, there they are. And they have no fucking idea who you are after you poured open your heart and body.

You're getting a bit annoyed.

Imagine you're Cursed Arm.

Your son just stopped you and your boss' little group in the middle of the street. He hasn't noticed you're there. One of your boss' boyfriends started picking a fight with him over how intimate he is being. Your boss looks like they are about to have a meltdown. You have never seen your kid be this clingy to someone and you quickly put together the level of affection, the way Ritsuka remembers jack shit and what is going on.

You figure out. Your boss. Drunkenly had sex with your son.

Nevermind the fact this information is pivotal to stopping a public brawl from breaking out.

hassan in Id chapter is a good choice ngl...his personality as someone cool headed, someone of the assassin class, someone who is also none other than one of the leaders of the Hassans made Id chapter also bearable for guda, if only a little bit- no, aside from amakusa, guda would definitely have given in to revenge or died if he hadnt brought them back to their senses during those fights.

from afar, it looks like he basically babysat... but if you look especially into that conversation in the alleyway after the date with marie alter, he's at his most brightest then and there for me.

Hassan, Assassin Class. Carrying that name alone holds heavily significant meaning as the etymology of the word alone comes from them. Assassin. Those who kill and carry out such acts of cruelty in the name of faith. Those who kill without emotion, without regret, without one's sentiments. And Bright star explains it. The thin line between Avengers and Assassins. Those who kill out of duty and those who kill out of emotion. Flames against Steel Blades in which the latter exists for a purpose, not for oneself, and the former exists for the self and thus uses fuel in its surroundings, even if it means burning up their own self...

Hassan in Id chapter, same as guda's age - neither too old nor too young but at an age where he can and could connect to them in some way as it would definitely have an impact should the 'age' be far above their own or less...

And considering Id chapter themes, it was also right to finally use him too. Bright Star. Hassan of the Bright Star. Burning himself up in his noble phantasm for a true kill, a young man who rose to be a leader for the sake of their faith (like hope), a symbol as well to guda to 'never give up nor disappoint their own shining star'...

i cant believe it took 10 years for him to be released... 2014 supposedly for prototype but he gets released in fgo... i'd like to see him in a work outside of it. i really like him in the current chapter... love him!!!!!!!

I’ve been screaming about him since his reveal and if I didn’t draw him I was going to explode. My friends and I have nicknamed him Hoshi because “Hassan of the Shining Star” and “Shining Star” are a bit of a mouthful. How does FGO continuously keep grabbing me in chokeholds when it comes to Assassins.

Alright, I have been going thru the heroic spirit ce and have some of my favorites. Also, how is it possible Columbus has a heroic spirit ce, but not my man Hector?! A crime, like seriously. The ce is under cut for those curious.

The new Hassan, Shining Star, was originally planned to be in Prototype Fragments before Serenity was chosen instead. So his character concept is like 11 years old.
