A Year Of Shoes

Day 232/366 Shoedazzle 'Siobhan'.  

I'm loving plucking completely random pairs that I forgot existed, but thankfully I have photos of (there's still loads of pairs I've never photographed over the years though). I think I remember the story for these shoes though. Shoedazzle were like an online footwear style service sort of a thing. You completed a survey and from your preferences they selected a 'showroom' of shoes for you to buy from each month. They closed in early 2012 to concentrate on their American business and this is when I ordered from them. For £19.98 (I checked back my emails), I got two pairs of heels. My bargain haul didn't turn out to be that great though because as a UK size 5, these were listed as such, but actually on the box it said "UK 5, EU 37", instead of 38. So they were too small and didn't fit and I sold them on. Whilst I still love the colour of these, the style was definitely of it's time and not really my thing now (the toe was upturned-ish), but for under a tenner, you can't really complain.
