What if. A silly little he/they guy. But! He's really messed up emotionally and mentally. Like. Constantly puts others first to his own detriment and calls himself manipulative kind of messed up. Also he's in a time loop. NOT a fun one. But! There's this jock in his party that he can joke with. And they looove making him smile! And! That jock is head over heels for our tiny hero. But! Neither of them can admit their feelings! ||Even if they know the feelings are mutual!!|| AND THE JOCK DOESN'T KNOW HE'S IN A TIME LOOP!!! AND LITTLE GUY WON'T TELL HIM! Siffrin is soooo insecure and I'm 100% sure Isa could fix him if he wanted to. They love telling each other just the worst puns and jokes imaginable.

[SPOILERS] -> Isa was a big nerd before he decided he wanted to be a huge jock and now he wants to design clothes now that he saved his county (along side his other friends)

Siff is just a little guy (literally)(he is short) who loves the stars abs doesn't remember a lot about his past. He constantly worries if he's being enough for the rest of his companions and always tries his best to make sure they're happy. He has soooo much trouble seeing value in himself and prioritizing his own needs and it makes me soooo sad :( he deserves to have someone like Isa.

[SPOILERS] -> Siff knows that Isa wants to confess after thier battle w the bbeg, but siff can't get Ida to say it no matter what they try :(

Friends/lovers since childhood, would kill and die for each other. [SPOILERS for those who have not watched/read the Wano arc yet] Killer ate a defective SMILE fruit to safe Kid, making him unable to swim and show any other emotion than laughing (and gains him nothing), and he also knew exactly where to cut off Hawkins' arm so he wouldn't harm Kid (because he knows his body so well). Kid promises to kill whoever makes fun of his partner, and lets himself be recaptured after escaping prison because Killer had gotten himself captured.

If this ain't love idk what is.

The captain/right-hand man dynamic. They call each other aibou (partner). If your partner doesn't tell you that he will send whoever laughs at you to hell then he is not worth it. Killer hates his own laugh to the point that he stopped laughing out loud and started wearing a mask. But then he was forced to eat a defective devil fruit (because they promised he could see Kidd if he did) so he's been cursed to only laugh no matter what emotion he's trying to express. That's why Kidd said that, it's so full of weight for someone like Killer. And when Kidd was imprisoned and he worked so hard to escape, but as soon as he saw Killer being pulled into the same prison he just broke out from mans did not hesitate for even a second to go right back in.

in short: this is 100% just an excuse to make the sloop codependency worse

Guides normally are little dolls who don't have much free will of their own and are basically just made to help with a task, shaped by how the ones around them perceive them, especially the one who made them.

There are very specific rituals to make one safely, but unfortunately Siffrin didn't know them and used their own body as a vessel to hold it. This obviously kills them, but the star counts as an equipment so now they are still stuck in the time-loop AND possessed by a celestial entity.

The guide, partly because being in a human body and party because the universe decides that it's the easiest way for Siffrin's wish to come true, becomes a semi-autonomous replica of them, who (subconsciously) copies what Siffrin did, but slowly gains free will/independence trough the loops (as the party and Siffrin Loop keep treating them like a person)

Since Siffrin's wish is still in effect, but lost their body, they are stuck as a ghost, a situation that they totally misunderstand and canon plays out (semi) normally

Neither is really happy when they realize what Loop's wish actually did.

After the reveal stardust feels extremely guilty for accidentally taking Loop's identity and wants to give it back. (Also has a major identity crisis and convince themselves they don't actually have free will and shouldn't be treated as a person.) (And feel super guilty whenever they talk to a family member because they are just a replica of Siffrin and while they don't like lying to them but would never tell them because 1. Loop begs them not to 2. they are terrified that the party wouldn't let them stay around if they knew the truth) (also thinks Loop would soon die without their body and is terrified to lose them.)

Loop, who only recently accepted that they are not Siffrin anymore, has really conflicted feelings about it. (Because they think they abandoned everyone and feel like this is their punishment.) (And don't want to admit to their friends what they did) (And also messing up a ritual they didn't even remember and creating stardust and letting them suffer needlessly.) (Also because they don't know if removing the star would kill stardust or not and they are terrified to lose them.)

Basically both convince themself they don't deserve to be Siffrin, but neither of them is brave enough to actually say that, or tell someone else about the entire thing because they both believe the family would hate them.

The Magnus Archives spoilers but I keep thinking about Jon and Martin landing in the ISAT universe when the fears arrive but like. Right after post loops. So it ends up like:

1) They save these two weirdly accented guys (where one of them clearly has been stabbed holy shit) only to possibly be immediately told that they just got a bunch of evil gods in their world (oops)

2) Jon's eyes absolutely have color when Knowing things or using Eye powers in general.

3) The loops 100% count as a statement and Jon is purposely trying not to be alone with Siffrin so he doesn't munch on their trauma

4) Triple ace solidarity ruined by the knowledge their world is doomed to be plagued by fear gods U.U

5) Martin: "Jon did the fears turn this world black and white" Bonnie:"what's black and white?" Martin: "what" Bonnie: "what" Isabeau: "No but seriously what's black and white." Odile: "I think they're implying that colors exist in their world." Jon: "I see. Colors are apparently unnatural to this world." Martin: "Like that one Lovecraft story?" Jon: "what". Martin: "You know colors beyond our comprehension and what not?" Jon: "I- I suppose??" Bonnie: "Hey! Could this Lovecraft guy be from our world?" Mirabelle: "Wait no. These two just arrived here??? Unless time messed up too???" Jon: "Trust me you do not want to claim him."

6.a) Jon looks at least 10 years if not older than he actually is. He also probably can get along better with Odile anyway. Plus with different universes as backgrounds, the lack of general knowledge around his age wouldn't be obvious. Cue the moment where Jon is asked how old he is and the absolute AWKWARD silence when it's clear that both Jon and Martin are basically Siffrin's age, give or take a few years.

6.b) Bonnie: "Is 30 years old different in your universe? Are you about to die?" Jon: "From embarrassment, perhaps."

7) General discussion/argument/existential dread regarding the Fears and how they interact with this world. Honestly the gang may never forgive Martin and Jon for doing this to them. Even if they do everything they can to help them. They get more sympathy once they find out about the Eyepocalypse and the absolute hell Jon in particular went through. Doesn't mean they have to like it.

8) Siffrin finding out about Jon's knowing powers and asking him if he can Know the name of the island in the North. Jon tries. Then he starts screaming. His eyes are red. Siffrin doesn't ask again.

9.a) The horror and dread knowing that not only is their mission not done. It can't be ever again. And this time, especially if Jon and Martin's story is true... well, the King wasn't easy, but at least he was a person. You can't exactly fight a distorted universe. Their happily ever destroyed forever.

9.b) I could see a physical confrontation happening... if Jon didn't look so absolutely devastated. If he didn't say "do what you will with me, but please leave Martin alone" and Martin yelling at him for being a self-sacrifical idiot. It just sucks so much all around. But it would have been easier if Jon and Martin were bad people. But they're not. Just... broken people doing their best in a broken world. And to do their best to save their own world, the family has to work with them.

9.c) Jon and Siffrin are also idiots with martyr complexes that refuse to talk about their feelings solidarity. Shame that Jon can't help but want to eat Siffrin's trauma cause they probably have a lot to talk about.

10) Funnier note, the slow realization that Jon and Martin in an rpg world. Martin figures it out first and Jon is just. Flabbergasted. Especially when they find out the magic system is rock paper scissors.

11) "rock paper scissors transcends the multi-verse. Neat!" (Later Martin asks Jon if gun is secretly a fourth hand symbol. He does not know and will not Know. He refuses).

12) I think at one point they're gonna have to deal with the fact that statements don't exist in this world. Either Jon gets too close to taking Siffrin's statement or he's going to tell Martin the facts: there is very little way Jon can survive without being a predator. He is an avatar that needs something to fuel his existence. He doesn't want to hurt anyone else ever again. Unless Siffrin wants to write their statement down or someone else does... even then there's no guarantee it's going to be enough.

13) Perhaps wish-craft can save Jon. Maybe. Maybe not. But. The party tells them about wish-craft anyway. It's the one hope they have to fight against this new horror. Maybe it can help Jon too to get out. (Everyone deserves that chance).

I have no fic with this, my fixations are simply crossing over briefly. Hope you enjoyed the ramblings.

that everyone loops AU makes me insane bc we know that siffrin is fairly observant even if they miss stuff (... missing eye) a lot.

which means everyone has to be constantly whispering to communicate when they think siffrin isnt listening. which siffrin would. 100%. so obviously pick up on the literal first loop onwards. and they'd NEVER improve their opsec because siffrin would NEVER even let out even a remote hint he can hear them whispering and talking without them. even if they cant make out the words

It does make me insane actually, I know I like to joke about Siffrin being oblivious but a lot of his general "oblivious" nature comes from a variety of things that would NOT interfere with their ability to realize the party is hiding stuff from them. As you said (and iirc Basilpaste has mentioned), their eye causes them a lot of trouble as it's a recent disability that interferes with their ability to find things (the key in Euphrasie's office and the key in the mirror room + the trap in death corridor) which would explain his general "oblivious" nature when it comes to physical things such as the counter. Its a disability! But he doesnt react to it as such! So a lot of the fandom tends to also forget that it's interfering with their own perception of how Siffrin see's themself and the world. Then, we also have their "oblivious" nature to social interactions but honestly, a lot of it comes from his memory issues (losing a TON of cultural identity and language can absolutely fuck up your ability to ask about certain things) and his self esteem/mental issues that make it so that he can't accept that they are desirable or wanted so... good things tend to be assumed to be something he made up or isn't true despite it being true. (I highly doubt that Siffrin isn't aware on some level they are loved and cared for by the party, it's why some of the scenes in the game hit harder for them because they know! He does! He just can't accept that reality)

Having said all this, it makes the scene's where the party tries to play keep away with information even worse! Because that's Siffrin's whole job! Knowing when things are sketchy or bad, as to keep everyone safe from unexpected things like traps or blockades is his job!! It is literally his job description, and as much as the party tends to overlook this, Siffrin would catch on as soon as it became apparent even Bonnie was in on it. I'm sure Siffrin could write off Odile, Mirabelle, and Isabeau discussing something in whispers if they thought it had to do with Bonnie (this Siffrin would still think Bonnie hates them and wouldnt understand why) but at the point that even Bonnie is clearly in on it, it becomes apparent that Siffrin is the only one out of the loop (lol). Which, holy shit, the absolute wreckage of realizing you are being kept away from something that a child is in on... the only reason that happens if its something about you specifically. And as you said! Siffrin wouldn't say anything! Because they want to stay with the party, so if they help, and do better, maybe they can get back in the parties good graces? Maybe if they help more, maybe if they can do something that the others cant, they can be kept around? Even if its not for the same reasons Siffrin wants to stay with them, maybe they can get the others to want them to stay? None of this gets communicated because if its something wrong with Siffrin, then they have to fix it himself! Which gets the oroboros tail stuck in his mouth, because the more Siffrin tries to help in this au, the more they fuck up the plans the others have. Its so messed up!! I love it dearly.

This is Bonnie's secret quest dialed up to an 11 on how much it hurts Siffrin and the party would literally never realize this until it hits them in the end. Like oh god, I think I would simply have to make it up for Siffrin forevermore after the loops lol. Patron Saint of go fuck yourself over here is a sniffling sad wet cat of a fella.
