[Here's the sketch! I ended up scraping the paint coming out of Meena's brush, and by that I mean I forgot to draw it in the finished version😭😭 (also ignore the fact I forgot to draw Sig's thumb here in the sketch ajdjkjdjsvb)]

Sig fell asleep during class, he seems to be having a nice dream...

Day 1 - Dream

Today’s prompt felt a bit broad to me, but that doesn't mean ideas wouldn't pop up in my mind for it!! Dreams could mean so many things, but I decided it'd be in the "I'm having a dream where I can fly" kind of sense?

Amitie stumbled upon an interesting looking butterfly, you could say it resembles Sig! Used a ref, that's why it's a tad more detailed!

Day 3 - Warm & Cold !

Sig went out without a scarf, Amitie, being as sweet as she is, got one for him!

Over here it's autumn(but tbh basically winter), so I felt fitting to draw something with cold climate!!

SigAmi Week... 2!

Last year during May, we had our first SigAmi Week(Go check out last year's tag, lots of wonderful artwork of all types was made by lots of artists!), And it was a wonderful experience, and of course we want to repeat the event!

This year it'll start on May 26th, and end on June 1st.

(Note: May 26th is a date originally chosen by JP artists as a date to celebrate them, as it's the midpoint between Sig and Amitie's bdays. Expect next year to have this date as well be around this date!)

Day 2 - Quest/Adventure

My first thought when it comes to quests and adventures? RPGs!! While there are quite a few RPGs I could draw inspiration from, I settled on Miitopia. You can literally make so many characters in the Switch version, after all. I thought that Kitty Sig and Mage Amitie would be super cute!

Day 3 - Warm and Cold

Ah yes, nothing better than dressing all warm during the cold winter season, right?

apologies for not having as much rendering on this piece, admittedly going through a bit of an art block while working on this

And so, SigAmi week came and went!

I thank everyone for participating, it was as good as last year's, maybe even better! Lots of wonderful art of all kinds made for the event.

I ask you to go support all the artists who participated, as they deserve the world!

This short event has also personally rekindkled my love for drawing them without worry, and I pushed myself with challenging myself with backgrounds a little bit hahah.
