I'm not gonna lie I've been stalking your damngela post and it reminded me of a idea I had before, so I think I'm actually gonna do it now.

Imagine: Grace Chasity meets Simon Bootles.

I came up with the idea of Grace Chasity meeting Mr. Grub as well. Now that one would be really funny!

My favourite headcanon about Simon bootles that I’ve written into both fics I’ve written about him is that his body temperature is unnaturally high and his touch leaves gentle red marks that burn very softly

Also spaces hes in, especially when charged with magic or occultist energy, get weirdly warm? Even if they’re literally outside in the freezing cold, there’ll be a small circle of melted snow and ice around him because he radiates heat

I've had a couple people mention this combo, and I don't hate it?

They do have that eldritch horror similarity, but I'm curious what else is intriguing about it? Am I missing something?

I can't really think of any headcanons about these two other than Bootles being some kind of weird oddities shop keeper or owning a scary residence somewhere. If you have more ideas about these two I'd love to listen! I love me some Grace Chastity! And Bootles is cool too B)

Lex and Mr. Grub are my absolute favorite! They really give 'mentor' and 'mentee' vibes that I love!

With Grub knowing a lot about the arcane I could see him fitting into Lex's story just about anywhere. (STOP READING NOW IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS, SORRY) ESSPECIALLY in Yellow Jacket! I could totally see them meeting somehow (maybe because Grub knew something was going to happen? and tracked her down) and he tries to help her with Hannah's powers and hers.

I think Mr. Grub fits into that universe really well, with him being a teacher and all that. He could have even been Lex's teacher in highschool (maybe also catching on to the fact she had powers then- cue Grub calling her "his favorite" teehee)

To me they give off Marty McFly and Doc Brown vibes, with a little more angst and foreboding :D
