Honestly hesitated about posting the first cause I don't want people to think I'm trying to get likes and stuff by piggybacking off @baskeigh-ball's work/AU, I just love drawing this Raph and after reading the comic about his fear of cats, I got the feels!

Look at the happy family!!

The pattern on TC's shirt and Karai's outfit were inspired by @baskeigh-ball.

Info that I thought out while while drawing these;

• Raph and Sky when they're both 18 • Raph and Sky start dating between the age of 19 and 20 • They adopt Tiger Claw when they're 22 • They adopt Casey(Cassidy) at 23 • The family moves underground when Raph and Sky are 26, TC 4 and Cassidy 3 • Raph and Sky get married at 27 • The triplets are born when they're 29, TC is 7 and Cassidy is 6 • Raph starts growing hair at 36

These honestly started out as concepts of what Sky and Raph's kids could look like and i wasn'tsure if I'd use any of them, but I ended up liking them all.

Sky named Karai after hearing about her from Raph and the others(many tears were shed), Raph named Yoshi after Splinter, his father very hesitant to give his blessing, but honored nonetheless, and they both agreed on Ryu, after his fluffy spikes.

This ask reminded me that back when I was trying to figure out how Sky and Raph's relationship started, I did some research to see if alligator snapping turtles have a courting ritual(they don't) and found out the males nip and bite at their partners head and neck while doing-the-do.

Also inspired by @sheep-turtles-and-pizza's Nom

i saw raph and sky had kids and i was like "AWWWW! THEY@RE SO FUKCING CUTE!" and then it hit me. it actually hit me quite some time later but ye. "ouh. sky got pregnant" and I'm pretty sure know where I'm going so I shall shut up and apologise for potentially ruining your day. i know its normal but it's a little funny, and gross ofc, to think about it

💕: which parent does your child tend to cling to? does it make the other parent jealous?

Yoshi tends to cling to Sky more while Karai is a big ol' daddy's girl! Ryu is in-between. It depends on his mood and/or what the issue is if there is one. And, nope! Neither Sky nor Raph get jealous!

👒: which physical traits does your child get from you? which do they get from your f/o?

They all get their fluff from Momma Sky and they're reptilian features from Papa Raph! Karai looks the most like her parents, being a cat with a snapping turtle shell. Yoshi looks like a green and brown otter pup with three fingers and toes. Ryu looks like a black and white cat with a turtle snout, turtle hands and spikes on his tail.

🌈: if applicable, who (from your f/o's source) would you make your child's godparents? who (out of your friends) would you make their godparents?

With Raph, he'd probably choose Mikey. Reasons for this are, one, Mikey is great with kids and you can't tell me otherwise, two, Mikey would probably call dibs. With Sky, she'd probably choose Yuichi. Reason is that, other than Hueso, Yui was the first Yokai she met and her first friend/brother.

OMG I saw your ref-sheets for Raph-a-doodle babies and they are so CUTE!!! I also noticed one of them was named Karai! Which inspired this lil doodle of my OC and Donnie's kid, who's also named after her Gram Gram! ^^
