Let’s start Headcanon Time off with some SpikeTiara!

I’m using a few ask prompts, but I’ll link them (and delete repeat questions).

Drinks the most coffee

Spike. One of many bad habits he learned from Twilight’s family.

Wants to adopt fifteen pets

Both.

Is most likely to adopt children off the streets

Again, both. If they found a kid in need they’d immediately help.

Has the biggest plushie collection

Diamond. She practically makes it a nest.

Owns twenty million hoodies

Spike. Partly because Diamond keeps stealing them, and he doesn’t exactly fit in her jackets.

Is the best at sports

Neither cares for sports, but if you teach them the rules they’d be pretty good.

Insists on family movie night

Spike.

Sings the best

Diamond.

Will eat anything

Absolutly Spike. Mostly since Dragons can eat more than Ponies can, and he’s good with spicy things.

Gets arrested the most

Neither is really a lawbreaker, but when they’re out of Ponyville Spike tends to have the cops called on him more.

How long will they last?

Forever!!!!

How quickly did/will they fall in love?

A few months

How was their first kiss? Electrifying, but complicated because of outside issues.

Wedding:

Who proposed?

Diamond! She proposed right after they helped in a Hearth’s Warming Play, with the audience watching.

Who is the best man/men?

Spike picks Twilight as Best man(Well, Best Mare), as she’s the pony he’s closest to

Who is the braid’s maid(s)?

Silver Spoon.

Who did the most planning?

TBH? They mostly roped Twilight into helping them keep it all organized. Diamond made more of the decisions though.

Who stressed the most?

Both. Old issues with Diamond, ‘my anxiety doesn’t give a flying fuck’ paranoia for Spike, and the real fear of Ponyville Shenanigans ruining it.

How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

They wanted something small and intimate, but when you have to invite all of the Alicorns in Equestria it goes downhill real fast. It’s only a 7 because, well, let’s just say they share an Anniversary with their niece’s Birthday.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding?

Diamond’s mother. When sending out invites, Spike and Twilight jokingly discussed sending an Uninvitation, but Pinkie didn’t have any on hoof.

Children:

How many children will they have naturally?

One on their own,Enchanter Zoisite, When they’re an OT4 with Sweetiesqueak there’s also Crafted Song, Crystal Clear, and Pearl. but I’m sticking to just these two for now.

How many children will they adopt? - None yet but if they run into a kid that needs it...

Who gets stuck with the most diapers?

Diamond, since Dragons have a sharper sense of smell(he tries, but stars does it suck.)

Who is the stricter parent?

Depends on the situation. On the day to day Diamond’s stricter, but Spike takes the lead during events.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school?

Are you kidding? They live in Ponyville. Dangerous kid stunts are the least of their worries!

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)?

Spike. Not only is he good at remembering things, but he’s the one who cooks so....

Who is the more loved parent?

They’re equally loved but Diamond feels like she’s less loved due to past issues in general.

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings?

Spike, but he’s definitely the ‘Fight me Helen!” type.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law?

Are you kidding? Enchanter Zoisite would never, ever, do anything to get into trouble with the law! I’m kidding, Zoe’s a sarcastic little shit and will not hold back on insulting those who insult her or her family, which are usually Nobles that call for Guards the moment they feel threatened(only to laugh in their faces when the Guards trust her story more, since they all know her). That said, by time her shenanigans reach her Parents, the problem’s already gone.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking?

Spike is a great cook, his Dragon abilities helping a lot. Cooking with Dragon Fire adds interesting flavor, and he doesn’t need oven mitts!

Who is the most picky in their food choice?

Spike. Especially when it comes to food from the Crystal Empire. Like, yes he likes raspberries, and he likes Rhodonite, but he doesn’t like rasberries that taste like rhodonite

Who does the grocery shopping? -

They take turns, but since they live with Twilight she makes the list.

How often do they bake desserts?

everyone has a sweet tooth, so fairly often. The problem is keeping Twilight from digging into them instead of eating an actual meal for once stars damn it!(Though only Spike and Zoisite can eat the desserts with crystals in them)

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater?

Pony society in general leans more toward vegetarian(but not vegan) despite being omnivorous. But out of the two Spike is more likely to eat meat.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner?

Diamond would try, but she’s not as good of a cook so it doesn’t come out right.

Who is more likely to suggest going out?

Neither. They go out with friends often enough that they won’t even choose it as a date idea.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking?

Diamond, but only by technicality. Though tbh Sweetie Belle actually came close, if not for the fact that crystal is hard to burn and Twilight always fireproofs her stuff out the wazoo

Chores:

Who cleans the room? -

they work together to clean their own area, but they do live in Twilight’s castle which, as much as Twilight hates it, does need a maid service if they want it clean.

Who is really against chores?

Diamond is more unused to chores, but she doesn’t complain much.

Who cleans up after the pets?

If they have any, Diamond would Again, dragons have a better sense of smell.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug?

Spike tried once. then Twilight told him to clean the rug and well...

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? -

Diamond. Spike’s used to his family’s stress and freakouts, so he knows how to keep them calm.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths?

Diamond. She likes the fancy bubble baths with the scented candles and such.

Who takes the dog out for a walk?

If they have a dog they’d probably go out together.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays?

All the time. Like, there will me minor decor for, like, Hearts and Hooves day, but they go all out for Nightmare Night and Hearth’s Warming.

What are their goals for the relationship?

just to be happy, you know?

Who is most likely to sleep till noon?

If they’re sharing the bed then both of them will sleep forever, but in separate beds Diamond’s up earlier.

Who plays the most pranks?

Retaliation.

Which of their friends is over-joyed shipper trash that they are together

Shining and Cadence. The day after they get together, it basically goes down like this video.

Who overshares intimate relationship details

Diamond, because she has less people to be embarrased around.

Who steals the other’s clothes

Diamond. Spike tries to retaliate, but her clothes are a little too small for him to wear all the time.

Diamond said the word first.

Both.

Neither because they live with Twilight who does that.

Both are Hearth’s Warming nuts.

Not that they have cars, but tbh Spike gets there first but Diamond quickly follows.

Spike

Spike at first, since when they were first together Diamond’s mom tried to keep her from anything she deemed ‘unworthy of time’, but she gets way to into it.

who insists on going to see the newest movies?

Diamond(especially the Daring Do movie so she can see how they portray her favorite uncle)

who’s the lighter sleeper?

Diamond when she’s on her own.

who believes in ghosts?

It’s Equestria. Ghosts exist, though they rarely leave the Underworld. That said, even if it wasn’t known, they’ve seen enough to consider the possibility

How did they they meet?

They met a few times in passing before, but once Diamond starts hanging out with the CMC more they officially meet and become friends

Who developed romantic feelings first?

Pretty close, so they’re not sure.

Who confessed their feelings first?

Diamond

What was their first official date?

A day trip to the Crystal Empire.

How do they feel about double dates/group dates?

Since their friend group is all dating one another, most hangouts are group dates in a way.

What do they do in their down time?

They end up reading together a lot, and making sarcastic comments at the characters.

What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?

Well that’s....uh....

Okay, Diamond meeting Spike’s family went really well. Twilight already liked her, Shining and Cadence had some fun, and Velvet and Night Light adore her.

Spike meeting Diamond’s family was.... well, Spoiled was very near throwing a fit when she found out(which is why they put off telling her), but Filthy Rich likes him and that’s all that matters to them.

What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?

I’m not sure if it counts as a ‘fight’, but when Diamond confessed her feelings they got into a minor ‘why would you like me?/why wouldn’t I like you?’ debate.

Which one is more easily made jealous?

Not exactly ‘jealous’, but Diamond thinks Spike could probably do better than her.

Who’s the cuddly one? What their favourite cuddling position?

Diamond. Especally in winter when Spike’s Dragon body heat keeps her warm.

Are they hand holders?

ponies don’t have hands but they do the equivalent.

Do they have joined Bachelor/Bacheloette parties or separate?

A mix of both. They start together, but then they split upthe group to have their own

Who spends almost all their money on the other?

Diamond is the daughter of a successful businessman, Spike is related to literal Royalty. These two have plenty of money to throw at each other.

Who sleeps in the other’s lap?

Diamond. She likes it when he plays with her hair.

Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?

Spike has picked up some bad habit from his family.

Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”

Diamond says it to Spike as a joke, because he remembers everything and even if he didn’t Twilight’s list making skills make it difficult to forget things.

Which one does the posing while the other one draws?

they take turns

If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?

Diamond backflips, Spike brings chips.

Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?

They don’t get really drunk often, but Diamond lasts longer(give a cheer for Earth Pony Endurance!)

Which one likes to surprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?

Both

Which one gives the other their jacket?

Not so much ‘give’ as much as it is that ‘Diamond now has a hoodie collection that smells slightly charred’.

Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?

Spike’s the only one with older siblings(and a sister-in-law) but they’re accidentally threatening. Like, they don’t say ‘break his heart I break your soul’, but you have

Shining Armor, the magically talented former Guard Captain

Cadence, a powerful Alicorn who rules a small kingdom

Twilight Sparkle, who has magically battled multiple supervillains and as a Unicorn had been tied for ‘most magically gifted pony without Immortal Blood to ever exist’ and has learned magic from three out of four remaining Immortals.

So yeah, they don’t threaten her, but the idea itself is terrifying when Diamond stops to think about it.

Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?

Oddly enough, Spike uses shorthand more than Diamond would. He and Twilight kind of created their own system that’s near-indecipherable(If you’ve watched Elementary, it’s like how Sherlock texts)

Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them?

Well considering Diamond used to be a bully.....

Okay, in all seriousness, the closest they’d get to ‘bullying’ is some kind of comments about the pony/dragon relationship, and oddly Spike’s the one to speak out more often.

Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun?

They take turns.

Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy?

Honestly? Both.

Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired?

Spike will carry Diamond if needed. She can technically lift him, but she wouldn’t be able to carry him too far.

Which one competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealous cheering?

Diamond competes, Spike cheers.

Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?

Spike.

Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?

Diamond tries, but Spike’s taller so she kept hitting him in the face with it.

If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?

They go a good handful of places, but they like colder places better since it means more cuddles. They both take pictures, but Spike takes more pictures with Diamond in them.
