𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 | Matsukawa Issei
Tumblr media
It's easy to attract when you know what you're doing, easier when you know it's already returned. What is difficult is to bear the effect of your stunt you decided to do to take the game between you two to another heat.
Tumblr media
inspired by @cottonlemonade from her event and the work she wrote from my request. 💌💐🙇🏽‍♀️🙌🏼 i hope i don't disappoint TT

It's almost a year now of you as the manager for the team. It was what it was. Of course that came along the bonds you have with each of them that time gave you to form.
Now it's summer and you're parted from high school. And thanks to Oikawa a few weeks before, he gave the idea of going out to celebrate, so you just proposed a little trip and they were all for it. With Hajime and Issei, you handled everything for it.
There you all are on the way in one van with Hajime's father being the driver. You sat by the window on the first row with Tooru, and Makki besides him. Issei to himself on the left side at the end of the door, his long limbs free to its comfortability, the rest of the team behind and Haji upfront with his old man. The first hour of the drive was their usual ruckus, chattering between them occasionally until it dies to each their own conversations.
The tranquil scenery of the highway got what it deserves as the ride goes on; quiet. Simply staring at the passing view of endless trees and sky.
In the steady silence, Hajime takes a glance at the rear view mirror at you and Issei. None of you have spoken to each other since morning and it's still going. Both of you have been irritating the said man too much, not that he's ever spoken about it, though it was evident.
But evident wouldn't even be enough of a word for what's between you and Issei. It's sickeningly blatant when it began. Yet it was a miracle none of them broke the unspoken, not even a mere tease from Tooru and Makki—at least not with you both present at the same time specifically.
Because it's nothing, Issei said to his friends before when tease and assumptions were rousing at his end the first time then. It wasn't, it's not, that much is clear. Haji would say he barely gets his friend's reasoning, but he does get it—to wait, to let it simmer. Issei is patient after all; how long it's been going on without nothing happening is the testament.
The other part of his scheming self; taunting.
And it simply seemed you never minded it anyways. Rather you enjoyed it along with him. Haji or everyone would, really—say you're perfect for each other and no one doubts something will unfold in the two days of the trip.
For now, there's the unending sight of the road and plains in between—memory lane not far off as the ride goes.
Transferring in the last year of high school was something you didn't want but necessary because of the circumstances of your family, yet you didn't want to complain when they could still support you to a great school.
Already honed by some hurtful bits of your past from earlier years made it easier to blend in with the new people and find stability. Surrounded yourself in a little circle. Joined a barely active art club, and because you wanted to fill in your extracurricular activities so long as you could, you looked for more.
There you found a volleyball club looking for a new manager. You didn't know shit about the sport, let alone sports in general, but it was a spot you didn't want to waste to go on further with new things. You applied and new beginnings only continued from there on when you got accepted.
It was entirely scarier than moving to a new city. Being more than intimidated to stand before the players as you got introduced to them, yet that just went away when their captain presented himself to you, almost immediately getting a little laugh from you and covered your mouth. Catching a glimpse of their amused eyes and etch in their lips.
Easy and fun only because you got along very well with them.
And too well with Issei.
A natural beginning of attraction; wit and humour meeting, as well clashing of it. Much more the little literal games you do; his hand teasing of your plush sides whenever he could and your loud exasperations, hitting him back, or his words getting to you to a knowing point of limit that has you chasing him down to always to no use and cursing him in the end. What was oddly entertaining to it is what you have was really never touched. A line you both have yet to cross.
It drags on for a time enough for your hearts to be filled with each other.
The little town is bustling where you went for a stopover to have lunch and do groceries, the vicinity still lush of tall greens if not more now, the wind refreshing against the blazing heat of the mid afternoon, the scent of the sea near.
As you stretched out for a moment after stepping out of the van and merely bask the surroundings, an arm draped on your shoulders. Makki. “What's up with you two?” he asked only you could hear as you walked together towards the path of the restaurant, letting the rest of them go first.
A little breath you laugh, “Shouldn't you ask your friend that?” you replied.
“Well, I want to ask you first, and two, you're my friend as well.” He answers and you only roll your eyes, just deciding to answer him.
“I don't know,” you sigh lightly. Not admitting it's been bothering you that he hasn't spoken to you or even gave a mere glance. “He's…not….you know….I don't want to..do anything.” You tell unsurely.
Makki barely fought to keep off the smirk his mouth made from your answer as he just nodded. He hasn't talked to Issei about you for the shortest moment but his guess is not far off from whatever Issei is going at. And that is, baiting you by his mere absence. His friend could really be too full of himself sometimes.
“Don't worry about it, sure it's nothing.” Makki said and you just rolled your eyes again, his knowing tone still evident and you're too used to their teasing antics.
You glared at him, before you pushed him off you as you walked in the restaurant and he just laughs, the sight not going unnoticed by a few of them and the culprit himself as they already got a table. His eyes staring at you for a moment, your heart ceasing for a bit—before you tore it with a blink away.
A little smile on Issei you didn't see, his friends all side eyeing him.
You sat besides Haji, him with his father, Makki and Issei. Tooru across from you and the rest once again. Occupying yourself with your phone after taking your orders, your mind begins to reel you in deeply, though trying not to let it get to you too much.
“I think you're starting to get cruel,” Makki murmured to Issei before he takes a sip from his glass of water.
Issei grins a little, “I'm still just playing.”
“Hence why, cruel.” Makki remarked simply, a chuckle he makes, “Even for you.” though it's all in light despite how true.
“Can't help it that she's so cute like that.” He replied without missing a beat, leaning his elbows then on the table as he sat forward, taking in your sight from his peripheral, still on your phone, now leaned on Haji's shoulder as he and Tooru conversed.
Issei prides himself of his patience.
He wouldn't have thought it'd have a challenge, by you. At least he didn't expect it too soon but then again maybe it was long overdue.
However, that's not right now.
When lunch was done, it was time to go for groceries so off to the market you all went. The sight of the lively and colourful place was enough to get your mind off from what's bothering you, walking further in besides Hajime as the rest splits up to get what they want and need for the trip. He was always the only one you leaned on from the team. That's not gonna change soon, it seems. And because you both assigned yourselves to kitchen duties, besides Issei who's avoiding you like the plague
“Is he bothering you?” Hajime spoke then, amidst both of you browsing and picking up shelved items.
“When has he ever not?” You laugh a little.
“Are you upset?” He asks after paying for the items and held the bag, you go beside him again, hooking your arm on his, going next to buy fresh produce.
“I think so,” you answer almost mindlessly, dabbing your handkerchief from your face to your neck as you sweat from the endless heat, doing the same to him after.
“Getting sick of his games?” He continues to prod as you both started on looking over the fruits and vegetables.
“No….just…worried.” You admit then. Hajime almost scoffed. Typical for you to doubt, not that he could or would fault you, but it's plain funny to question Issei's…..adherence for you. And the whole situation just annoying now.
“We'll beat him up if he hurts you.” Haji says, of course he means it, though he knows there will be no such.
“I know.” You let out a laugh again with a little smile, squeezing his arm to yours for a bit and he kisses your forehead.
Soon as another hour passes, you arrive at your destination. The little villa to all your expectations. Hajime's father took his leave after making sure all was well. Settling down, you found yourself thinly on edge with him there, forcing your eyes to not look at him when he's near.
It's an understatement to how he's enjoying himself
You hope to just strangle him. You couldn't wait to get back at him.
That would be right now.
After settling down and freshening up yourself while they just wind down; the former third years in the living room, a few of the soon to be second and third years out roaming the villa or resting in their rooms. There you stood in front of the mirror as you finished putting on your clothes. Your agenda to be precise.
It’s just a little dress. One which you scoured from a thrift store you went to a few weeks ago before the trip was fully set , you knew what you were looking for even if almost none of what you saw didn't match that much to your taste, but thankfully with patience, you found the closest. With a few alterations you yourself did by researching online, trial and errors, a little crisis, and to the brink of giving up—you did, for a long moment before you forced yourself to suck it up, managed and pushed through to your satisfaction.
It hugs to you much, and shows your body enticingly. From the little frills that's on your bare round shoulders, the low cut on your chest showing much of what your cleavage could display, thanks to the bra that endows your breasts—rather suffocating, really. It's not convenient but it is for the situation you want to put yourself in. The soft fabrics tight around your wide and luscious curves, the shortness of it a full view of your thighs. The colour of cream gentle on your brown skin.
The strong heat amidst the little gushes of wind and crashing of waves under the blinding sun, all the perfect reasons for your little charade.
With a pounding heart, little stings in your nerves, a bit of coldness on your skin and heat inside you—you walk out of your room.
What is it about being chased?
Issei was taking a drink from his bottle of beer when he sees you head to the kitchen, a distant but clear view that has him slowly stop and put down his drink. He swallows. His jaw clenches. The grip of his fingers tightens on the glass. The burn of the alcohol lingers too longer than it should. His eyes bores.
He's already been riling himself up halfway through the trip earlier and when you arrived, just your denim shorts and a loose white shirt clinging a bit to you then from your sweat, a sheen of it on your neck, your black bra too visible from your thin top, it's a wonder to him even how he could hide such a tent. But that is certainly something. His legs spread wider on the couch and put a pillow on his lap in an unsuspecting flow. He couldn't care less when the boys simply all knew.
It's just boggling how you haven't fainted yet or continue to walk straight as you walk to the living room with a bottle of beer of your choice you can tolerate and a glass of water, feeling his gaze not tearing away from you and sat down on the floor besides Makki against one of the couches.
“Cute dress," Makki said, a grin he has since you made yourself known. Too damn proud of you for pulling such a stunt.
You continue to pretend he doesn't exist at all, taking a faint breath from your mouth through your nose and took a little drink from your glass. "I bought it from a thrift store and I altered it." You spoke then, a little laugh you let out and let yourself get carried away to distract and be at ease by your not so little excitement, going on how you did what you did.
If Issei didn't know you put much effort to what you're wearing, he would have just plainly thought how renewing it'd be to easily rip it apart off you.
How adorable.
He still thinks the thought with no remorse. But he relieves and trigger his thirst at the same time by your sight. The bits of your sweat that drips from your thighs and legs by sitting like that, your thighs exposed a little more. Curves spilling out twice. He barely has an idea anymore of what he and Hajime had been talking about just a moment ago.
Turns out Issei could be made a little mindless. Hajime, sick of his friend's ass, still let him keep his dignity; talking to him still like he's not eye fucking you.
All while the two made a group chat to only you three.
You: you did not just make a group chat for this.
Side eyeing your pink haired friend besides you.
Oikawa: duh
Hanamaki: what did you expect??
Hanamaki: you sure you know what you're doing?
You: no, duh. that's what makes it more fun though
You: i think
Hanamaki: uhuh
Hanamaki: looks like you do though. you're gonna kill a guy suddenly appearing like that
Oikawa: he's never been this down astronomically like that with you present😭🤣
Oikawa: look at him, he's almost brainless and our dear Iwa-chan is itching to punch him
It's so difficult to keep your mouth pursed just to stop you from smiling too wide and bursting out laughing.
You: eh, he's issei
You: i doubt he's affected that much
Hanamaki: you seriously downplaying how much he likes you?
Hanamaki: let alone he's still a man
Hanamaki: and how pretty you are
Hanamaki: his eyes have not left you
Oikawa: you didn't see how he manspread and covered his lap with that pillow after a moment you showed up 😋
You: thank you for that compliment, makki
You: and can you not bring up that up in our conversation, tooru
Hanamaki: what? you know it yourself, and that's what you intended anyways
Oikawa: 🤭💯
You: first of all, getting him hard was the back of my mind and instead just attracting him more. the effect is most likely the same but that was not what i had in mind when i planned it
Oikawa: you're not fooling anybody 😓
Hanamaki: still the same
Hanamaki i ain't wrong with thinking how he's thinking of the nastiest shit right now
You: you're disgustingggggggggg😭😭😭😭
You: he's literally here with us
You: and fuck you, tooru
Oikawa: 💅🏼
Hanamaki: duh
Hanamaki: so?
Hanamaki: and he's more disgusting than everyone here. that comes with having a horsecock, i guess
Hanamaki: i know yk how huge it is
Oikawa: 🗣️💯
You: HANAMAKI
The want to strangle them is so high. Almost howling a laughter right then and there while they're just grinning to themselves.
Hanamaki: 🙁😚
Breathing out and catching yourself more, you stood up, taking your bottle with you, saying it a little that you'll start prepping the foods and for dinner later. Amusement too high but immediately dying down and your wracking nerves are back.
It barely calms even as you begin to put out the frozen meats and chicken to thaw them, rinsing the vegetables after. It just heightens when footsteps you're too familiar of nears, much more see his towering figure stood up and walked away from the living room, the three taking their leave fully out of the vicinity for a while.
The vexing man at last speaks to you. “Hey, sweetheart.” his deep voice soft as he stands near you against the counter.
How infuriating. You want to run his pretty face on the ground. He simply laughs a little when you don't answer and continue to not look at him, your hand now holding a knife as you start to slice the greens.
You're now rightfully pissed, he knows, it's nothing but cute to him, though he knows as well he'll get nowhere if he doesn't start somewhere now.
So, there goes his hand gently laying atop of your own that holds the knife and goes behind you, his left arm sliding firmly around your wide and plush waist. “Don't get any ideas now, love.” he chuckles as he made you let go of the knife, and locked your fingers together.
You don't protest but instead relish the sensation of his presence looming over you and the sheer evidence of his body reacting to you, still with a bite however, “Nothing I've already had for a while now.” You remarked, rolling your eyes.
“I know, princess.” Issei says, hugging you comfortably tight against him as he buries his face on your neck. Getting more intoxicated by your softness and warmth, yet never been so renewed. Worth all the patience and thrill.
Quietness lies as he keeps you in his hold, as you let yourself dive deep in his embrace. The rest you both needed from your games. A stable and transparent continuation.
“Hi.” He murmurs, ghosting his lips on your skin.
“Hi,” you echo.
“Did you miss me?” he asked, trailing up his mouth with firm kisses until to your soft cheeks.
“I did.” You utter quietly, nuzzling on him.
Issei sighs, hugging you to a squeeze again. “‘Ve missed you, too.” He brought up your twined hands to his mouth and kissed your knuckles, the back of your hand and wrist. “We'll be here now.” and you don't doubt him.
“Did you do this for me?” he asks, his other hand now going down and went underneath your dress, dragging his fingers up your thigh tightly.
“For you.”
“Good. I'll take it off you later.”
Tumblr media
to my issei fuckers, i hope you love this, @seijhoeist @iwaberry
i'm still working on makima, bear with me😓 i can't help it whenever i get impulsive. life has been been punching me a lot lately again but at least i made this🙏🏼 went to the library earlier today to continue this and coincidentally my best friend and her girlfriend was there as well which was just funny and fun, lmao.

Chapter 1- Joe Cool 😎
Joe
I danced a little gig as I walked into my penthouse apartment carrying a case of beer.
As most of you probably know, I am Joe Burrow, rookie quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Who Dey!🧡🖤
Anyway, if you have kept up with me at all you probably know that this season has been rough for me starting out.
I mean, today we got our FIRST freakin’ win of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
And it is week 4. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Folks ,as you know , I had an undefeated season and a natty Championship win during my last year at LSU,
So, needless to say, losing is not in my vocabulary and most definitely something I am not used to
AT ALL. 🥴
But what can I say? It was bound to happen because I had been warned that during my rookie NFL season I would probably take my fair share of lumps.
Just call me Mr.Lumpy. 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
Anywho, moving on.
I have other issues at the current moment.
I rubbed my swollen jaw.
Yes I said swollen jaw.
Yes, I got sacked a few times during the game but that has nothing to do with the swelling of my jaw.
I was interviewed by the lovely, vivacious Linsie Wellington after the game.
Ah,miss Linzie.
The most respected sports announcer in Florida.
And the hottest.🔥❤😜😎
I mean, dayum. Boys, the woman is smoking.
I'm so damn sorry but when a woman looks like that I just gotta say something.
Okay, so normally Miss Hottie(I mean,Linzie ) is an announcer but tonight she did an interview.
An interview with yours truly. (Pops collar)
So.....anyway......when she was finished asking me all those beloved things an interviewer asks.....I just couldn't stand it anymore. I just had to say something.
And this is what I said.
I gave that black haired bombshell my million dollar sultry smile and said this little piece right here.
"Give me your car keys so I can drive you crazy." 😉
Yeah, yeah, crazy pick up line,I know.
But hey it works.
A lot.😎
And boy would I like to drive this woman crazy. 😍
I think miss Linzie liked it just a little.
Ah,hell who am I kidding? I KNOW she liked it.
I saw her blushing.😎
However, there was someone who didn't like it.
That someone was her boyfriend. 🥴😎
Damn, that man can swing a fist.
Hell,I didn't know she had a boyfriend.
Or did I?
😂😂😂😂😂ahem
So there you have it,folks. The story of my freakin bruised jaw.
What can I say?
I'm a hot mess.😎
I sighed as I dragged myself to my fridge and pulled out a beer.
Ahhhhh....smooth as hell. Already made me forget about my damn messed up jaw.
I know I shouldn't be drinking but hell, we freakin' won today!
A man's gotta celebrate.
Yeehaw!
Anyway........twelve to fifteen beers later, I'm pretty sure I was on the verge of passing out.
Just as I leaned back on my huge designer couch and shut my eyes,my doorbell rang
Awww hell no!
I groaned and I stood up with my head absolutely swimming, and trudged over to the door.
How I made it without falling on my ass i will never know.
Anyway.....when I opened the door....there stood a girl with bleach blonde hair and a skirt on up to her rear end.
Mmmmm......mama mia😍
And no, I don't have a damn clue what her name is .
She's a chick I met at the bar the other night.
I'm pretty sure I've already had at least one round of wild and crazy sex with her.
Or was that her sister?😎
Hell, who am I kidding? I probably had em both.
"Hey stud.....good game today." The woman said, batting her eyelashes at me.
"Thanks" I said,smirking and winking.
"I think we should...ya know.....have a little fun ."She said,with a wink.
"Hell yeah" I said,smirking.
The next thing I knew we were in the floor, heavily making out.
I am a worn out ol boy but I am NEVER too tired for some poontang.😎
So....with that being said.....scram...ya filthy animals! 😎
However,please do visit tomorrow.
I'm sure I shall have a ton of things to talk about if ya know what I mean.😎
Song of the chapter -Just A Gigolo by David Lee Roth
Hey guys! I know this is definitely a different Joe than we are used to seeing but hey, I find this side of Joey B rather hot 🥵 myself.
As I’ve said, this is my story from Wattpad but I will be changing it slightly.
Thanks so much for reading!
Will update soon!
Much love,
Leslie ❤️

Referees Did Not Send Mahomes to the Superbowl.. The Bengals Did
On Saturday January 29th, Patrick Mahomes etched his name into NFL history by becoming only the 16thquarterback to stamp a ticket to three Superbowls. The game was a tightly contested matchup between Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs and Zac Taylor’s Cincinnati Bengals. Although Mahomes and company got off to an early 13 – 6 lead over Burrow led Bengals in the first half, Joe “Cool” unsurprisingly narrowed the gap despite a depleted offensive line and losing wide receiver, Tyler Boyd in the second quarter to a thigh injury. The story all week however, was centered around the health of Patrick Mahomes.
A week and a day prior during the AFC Divisional Round, Kansas City had edged out the Jacksonville Jaguars for the right to move on to the AFC Championship game, though not without a price. During what was an otherwise inconsequential 4 yard pass on a first down play late in the first quarter, Mahomes was brought down from behind by Arden Key which led to his ankle being badly sprained. While the Kansas City starter received X-Rays on the injury, backup quarterback Chad Henne led what would prove to be crucial drive which resulted in a touchdown catch by Travis Kelce. Mahomes would return in the second quarter when X-rays came back negative, but noticeably limited and so the talk of the NFL all last week became about a right ankle.
A close game ending 23 – 20. The Chiefs prevail. The crowd was electric. The defense was opportunistic and vicious in their pass rush. Gay and Sneed exit with injuries on defense. Hardman & Toney hurt. Juju scratched. Burrow, two picks too many. All this adversity and still Kansas City pulls through with Harrison Butker capping it off with a conference clinching kick that would send the Chiefs to their third Superbowl in four years. Cue the credits. Obviously, these are the highlights, but this is not the story we’re talking about this week.
Instead, this Kansas City Chief fan will have to listen for the next two weeks to all the talking heads at Fox, NFL Network, Barstool Sports and ESPN about the idea that somehow the officials “rigged” or “blew” or “insert-superlative-here” the AFC Championship game. Allow me to be perfectly clear. A referee or a crew there-of should never be the topic of conversation in any game, let alone a conference championship. However, what I am startled by is the amount of attention that this instance of overzealous officiating is receiving. Sunday night’s game was not the first time that referees in big games have had questionable, missed, or phantom calls or a game was decided by a bad rule. Not by a long shot. Examples you ask? I have a few.
The Tuck Rule Game- I might as well start big since the referees in this classic set the stage for the next 21 years of football. Tom Brady was sack-fumbled late in the fourth quarter of the 2001-02 AFC Divisional Round against the Raiders’ Charles Woodson and the Raiders kneeled it out for the win. Just kidding. As Brady was being tackled a rule set in ’99 was utilized to determine that in fact, Brady’s arm was moving forward in an attempt to pass, rather than an attempt to “tuck” the ball back into his body. The following is the exact language of that rule.
“NFL Rule 3, Section 22, Article 2, Note 2. When [an offensive] player is holding the ball to pass it forward, any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body. Also, if the player has tucked the ball into his body and then loses possession, it is a fumble.”
The problem here is that “any forward movement of his arm” includes a pump fake, and any objective viewer giving this play the eye test, who knows anything about what a quarterback’s body looks like when it is fully engaged in the throwing motion can see that this was a fumble.
Rams vs. Saints 2019 NFC Championship- Easily the worst call, or rather no call of all time. Rams Nickell Robey-Coleman absolutely commits a penalty against Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis. Forget just pass interference, the referees could have called targeting, helmet to helmet contact, etc. The point is, it was the most egregious call in NFL history and in a time where the NFL had every fathomable resource to get the call right and still failed and so the conversation became that the play had cost Saints and mostly Drew Brees, his last shot at a second Superbowl ring.
Chiefs vs. Patriots 2019 AFC Championship- Finally, I’ll end with one that hits close to home with me for obvious reasons and I’ll keep it short. Chris Jones tapped Brady’s shoulder pad and got called for a roughing the passer penalty. That would have been the whole conversation of the week if not for the aforementioned call in the saints game listed above. The Patriots would have been forced to punt. The Dee Ford offsides penalty would never had happened, and if both games, both NFC and AFC championships were officiated better than they were, we would have gotten a better and more competitive Superbowl between the Chiefs and the Saints. Brees would have left with two rings or Mahomes would have shown us he’s a winner a year earlier. Right? Wrong.
The fact of the matter is that those things didn’t happen and the results are as they stand. The bottom line is that if the Raiders had executed defensively and tackled better at the end of the fourth quarter and in overtime, Vinatieri never kicks us into the Brady-Belichick era. Also, if the Saints executed better defensively early in that title game, then that no-call is a non-factor and the same goes for if Brees doesn’t toss a pick to Johnson in overtime. Yes indeed, the Chiefs got hit with a bad call but if Dee Ford lines up correctly that game winning drive is squandered and the Chiefs likely go on to pummel a Rams team that wasn’t ready for the moment.
What’s the point? The point is that it is never any one call that wins and loses these games. There is a reason you hear every coach say what Zac Taylor said after being asked about the call on Joseph Ossai, “We’re not going to make this about one play.” The reason is because it’s true. The Bengals had every chance in the third and fourth quarters to stomp out hope for the Chiefs. Instead, they played poor enough to allow Patrick Mahomes to limp his way to the Superbowl. No one person, player, coach or official decided this game. The Bengals simply left themselves in a position to lose.

Okay? Capiche? Make sense? Good, now back to the post…
My GT Sport Gameplay - Part 15 [Jan 28, 2023]
Hello, hello! Here’s Part 15 of my “Gran Turismo Sport” experience playthrough!🎮🚗
If you haven’t seen my Part 14, as well as “my first ever owned PS4 game by using funds”, then I’ll provide some links down below. ↓
○ Part 14 [Jan 27, 2023]
○ My first ever owned PS4 game [Jan 10th, 2023]
So, without further ado, let’s get started:
1st to 4th screenshots: ↑
• Okay, back again for another round of "Circuit Experience". And as you can see, I choose picked another batch of eight tracks. So, here's my rate chart for Part 14:
Neutral: ○ Dragon Trail - Gardens 🇭🇷 ○ Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix 🇪🇸 ○ Autopolis International Racing Course 🇯🇵
Easy: ○ Tsukuba Circuit 🇯🇵 ○ Autodromo Nazionale Monza 🇮🇹 ○ Fuji Speedway 🇯🇵 ○ Red Bull Ring 🇦🇹 ○ Tokyo Expressway - South Inner Loop 🇯🇵
• So far, I don't have any hard rank tracks from my pick, and that's pretty good for me. 🙂👍 Although, I'm having a slight problem with "Dragon Trail - Gardens", but, thankfully, I managed to do 1 lap without a single retry. So, I gave it a Neutral rank. Also, the "Autopolis" track is new to me, which also I gave it the Neutral rank. And what's my favorite race track of the eight? Mmm... Tough choice, but I picked the "Red Bull Ring". Also, shout out to the "Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix" because I recognized this track from my old PS1 racing game; Formula 1'97. 🙂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5th & 6th Screenshots: ↑
BTW: I made some close calls of obtaining gold for the Dragon Trail - Gardens & the Autopolis track.
And that includes my today’s “Circuit Experience”! Let’s move on to my new car toys! ↓ 🚘😁
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
7th to 14th Screenshot(s): ↑
• Here are my new cars that I've obtained after finishing eight courses (in all dripped gold 🥇):
○ Ford Mustang Gr. B Rally Car 🇺🇸 (after completing all gold at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza 🇮🇹)
○ Dodge Viper GTS '13 🇺🇸 (after completing all gold at the Tsukuba Circuit 🇯🇵)
○ Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gr. 4 🇩🇪 (after completing all gold at the Dragon Trail - Gardens 🇭🇷)
○ Lamborghini Huracán GT3 '15 🇮🇹 (after completing all gold at the Fuji Speedway 🇯🇵)
○ Audi TT Coupé 3.2 Quattro' 03 🇩🇪 (after completing all gold at the Red Bull Ring 🇦🇹)
○ Honda Civic Type R '15 (UK) 🇯🇵 (after completing all gold at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix 🇪🇸)
○ BMW M4 Coupe '14 🇩🇪 (after completing all gold at the Tokyo Expressway - South Inner Loop 🇯🇵)
○ Jaguar F-Type Gr. 3 🇬🇧 (after completing all gold at the Autopolis International Racing Course 🇯🇵)
Tumblr media
15th Screenshot: ↑
• Finally, today's "daily workout completion" is the Ford Focus Gr. B Rally Car 🇺🇸. Mmmm... Can't wait to drive in dirt beside the Mustang Gr. B. 🙂
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
16th to 18th Screenshot(s): ↑
• Once again, much like my previous part, I have now double cars on my (digital) garage, including my starter car, the Honda Civic Type R (UK). I'm starting to get deja vu, here. 🤔 But, I digress...
Anyway, let's move on to the "GT League". 🙂🏁🏆
Tumblr media Tumblr media
19th & 20th Screenshots: ↑
• My today’s GT League races are "The Passion of Dr. Wankel" (for Mazda rotary cars) & "Tourist Trophy" (for Audi TT cars). The 1st race I take on is like walking in the park (with Clean Race & Handicap Bonuses) 🚶‍♂️🌳, but the latter is when I switched to "serious" mode 🎮😠. On the 2nd race of "Tourist Trophy" (Dragon Trail - Seaside reversed), I was struggling to reach the leader pole, and my qualified car's horsepower didn't have the strength to chase. 🙁 So, I have to quit the race & tweak the HP settings just a little pinch before I go for another race. 🔧⚙️🚘 However, I ended up in 2nd place 🥈, so I have to tweak more & race again. So yeah, I finally beat the race by tuning my qualified car.
• However, for my 3rd race (Nürburgring Nordschleife) of the aforementioned "Tourist Trophy" I decided not to used this car, and this is the moment where I purchased my first car in GT Sport.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My first recorded video from PS4 Pro (with 21st to 23rd screenshots): ↑
• I went to the Audi dealership in the Europe section of "Brand Central" to buy the Audi TTS Coupe '14 as my achievement trophy for "My First Car". Pretty neat! 😊🏆After that, I'm ready to continue my Tourist Trophy race! Overall, I'm wiping 'em all with a "Clean Race Bonus" 🧹🏁🏎️, including one "Handicap Bonus" from using the other car before. ⬆️🏎️ Plus, I nailed the Nürburgring Nordschleife's (Race 3) "Green Hell" long course without bumps, bruises, or out the tight track! 😃
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My GT Sport’s Scapes - 20th & 21st photos: ↑
• Here are the ff. cars I used (with selected locations):
For the "The Passion of Dr. Wankel" race: ○ Mazda RX500 '70 🇯🇵 (location: Underground Discharge Channel - Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, Japan 🇯🇵)
For the "Tourist Trophy" race: ○ Audi TTS Coupe '14 & Audi TT Coupé 3.2 Quattro '03 🇩🇪 (location: Konzerthaus Berlin, Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪)
• The so-called ✌️"other car"✌️ that I refer to was the Audi TT Coupé 3.2 Quattro '03. It put out of the fight at the Northern Isle Speedway (where I claimed the "Handicap Bonus") & the Dragon Trail - Seaside II (reversed), but sometimes, speed wasn't enough against the TTS Coupe. But hey, big props for the 1st gen TT coupe though! 😊👍
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
24th to 26th Screenshot(s) + Overall: ↑
• I made huge progress in GT Sport, with eight tracks covered in gold in the "Circuit Experience" 🛣️🥇, and an intense race 🚘🏁🚘 at the "Tourist Trophy" in the "GT League's" amateur league. More importantly, I got 91% of my campaign. As only (last) eight courses left in the "Circuit Experience", hoping I could take out these, in the coming weeks. And once I'm done, I'm onto the "Lewis Hamilton Time Trial Challenge" (after purchasing it using my PSN wallet).😁
Riya 🐰🏎️: Aww yeah! You did a great job tackling TT coupes (no innuendo relation) & earning golds! 😁👍
Spot 🐶🏎️: Heck yeah! And hey, we've got ourselves another clone cars! I'll have the cool Viper GTS 2013 car, pls?! Thanks so much! 😊🚘
Miya 🐰🐻🔋: Oooow, that Lambo Huracan looks sick to drive! And you know, I am HUGE fan of Italian supercars! 😁
Bonn 🐰🚹: Me too, Miya. We can't wait to see the Huracan GT3 in action! Now, how's your driving with the VW Vision GT car? 🙂
Miya 🐰🐻🔋: Gnarly! Now, I want test drive with the Huracan GT3 car! Ladies first! 😁🚘
Bonn 🐰🚹: Be careful, Miya! That Huracan GT3 is too fast the other car you've drove! 😧
Riya 🐰🏎️: Miya will be fine, paps. 🙂
Spot 🐶🏎️: Yeah, she can handle it, to the max! 😁
Bonn 🐰🚹: And, how do you know about that? 🤔
Spot 🐶🏎️ & Riya 🐰🏎️: Since 7 before we're depature to the U.S. 😃
Bonn 🐰🚹: Huh... Okay. 🤔 Anyways, we can't to see our creator's next GT Sport journey. In the meanwhile, I'll go drive with other cars that he claimed.🙂
Riya 🐰🏎️: Oooow, can we try the Jaguar F-Type GT3 car, paps? I'll go sit in the passenger. 😊🚘
Bonn 🐰🚹: Sure thing, sweetie. Hop on! 😊
Riya 🐰🏎️: Alright! Hey, Spot! Follow us! 😁
Spot 🐶🏎️: Yeah! yeah! 😄🚘

Its Time for NFL to Cut Back on Preseason Games
It’s time for the NFL to cut back on its preseason once again. Two weeks of meaningless games will officially be in the books once the Green Bay Packers wrap up their meeting with the Denver Broncos and the clock hits zeros in a matchup between the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. And what a boring week it’s been. Aaron Rodgers hasn’t suited up for the New York Jets and likely won’t until the regular season. Josh Allen was held out of the Buffalo Bills’ 9-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, and top draft picks like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye were lucky to have at least 10 pass attempts on their ledgers. Oh, and No. 4 overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t even play. But that’s the name of the game, right? Give your best players a dose of action and leave it at that. Take it easy, so no one gets hurt. After all, it’s just the preseason. Problem is, there really is no taking it easy out on the gridiron. One play can ruin a whole season for a team, maybe even a future. Just ask the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota selected quarterback J.J. McCarthy out of Michigan with the 10th overall pick in this year’s draft, but the 21-year-old’s season is already over after he tore his right meniscus in a 24-23 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Aug. 10.  Fortunately, no such injuries have happened this week, and hopefully everyone has a clean bill of health following Sunday’s abbreviated slate of games. This isn’t a new issue. Players have been suffering season-ending injuries during the preseason for years. But after seeing just how little some of the top talent across the league has played over the past two weeks, do we really need to sit through three preseason games each year? We’re not saying the preseason needs to be completely scrapped. Going into the regular season with no tune-ups would likely lead to even more injuries, so there obviously needs to be some form of live game action over the summer. One preseason game should do the trick, though. Or, if the league is so dead set on having multiple games, how about two or three with 10-minute quarters? Maybe just give each team five drives per game, and whatever happens, happens. These games don’t matter. Throw the rules out the window. If the goal really is to just get some players developed while others are simply there to shake the rust off, the league doesn’t need these guys out on the field for 60 minutes. Still, there will be those who vouch for the preseason. It’s the first football we get after a hiatus of about five months; stars do still get on the field, and ticket prices are cheaper if you have nothing better to do on a summer night at the end of the week. Sports bettors aren’t opposed to an additional three weeks of football, either. But this week’s top storyline? Jacksonville Jaguars backup quarterback Mac Jones threw for 210 yards and a pair of TDs in a 20-7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. Putting players like Patrick Mahomes at risk in games that don’t count just so second- and third-stringers can get their time to shine just feels wrong. And maybe it isn’t on the league to adjust its preseason rules. Perhaps coaches should just rest their best players until things start to matter. Luckily, we’ve only got to make it through one more week of this. Let’s just hope it goes by quickly. Source link via The Novum Times

The history of imported cars in the US is a tale of innovation, style, and cultural influence. It all began after World War II when American soldiers returned home with a newfound appreciation for European sports cars like the iconic MGs and Jaguars.
As international trade expanded, so did the variety of imported vehicles available to American consumers. The 1960s saw an influx of Japanese imports such as Datsun (now Nissan) and Toyota, quickly gaining popularity for their reliability and fuel efficiency.
In the following decades, German luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz made their mark on US soil, appealing to drivers seeking performance coupled with sophistication. Today, imported cars from around the globe continue to shape the American automotive landscape, and cutting-edge technology and design aesthetics set them apart from domestic models.

Regular servicing, such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations, is vital for the longevity of your imported car. Following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule will help prevent costly repairs.
Access to genuine parts for your imported car is crucial in case of unexpected issues or malfunctions. Genuine parts guarantee optimal performance and compatibility with your vehicle, giving you peace of mind while driving.
By staying proactive with maintenance and repairs for your imported car, you can enjoy all the benefits of owning a high-quality vehicle without worrying about unexpected breakdowns or issues affecting its performance.

Unveiling the Art of Innovation: Carbon Fiber in the Jaguar F-Type
The automotive industry is continuously evolving, pushing the boundaries of engineering to create vehicles that not only deliver unparalleled performance but also embody a harmonious blend of style and substance. Among these innovators, Jaguar stands out as a brand synonymous with luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. The Jaguar F-Type, a masterpiece in its own right, is a prime example of how advanced materials play a pivotal role in enhancing both the structural integrity and overall performance of a sports car. In this blog post, we delve into the fascinating world of Jaguar F-Type carbon fiber materials and explore how they contribute to the allure and prowess.
Unleashing the Power of Carbon Fiber:
Carbon fiber is a lightweight, high-strength material that has become a game-changer in the automotive industry. Its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio makes it an ideal choice for manufacturers aiming to reduce the overall weight of a vehicle without compromising structural integrity. In the case of the Jaguar F-Type, carbon fiber is strategically integrated into various components, delivering a combination of strength, rigidity, and agility.
Body Design and Aerodynamics:
One of the most prominent areas where carbon fiber makes its mark is in the exterior design of the Jaguar F-Type. The material is often used in the construction of body panels, such as the hood, roof, and side skirts. These components not only contribute to the car's sleek aesthetic but also play a crucial role in reducing overall weight. The lightweight nature of carbon fiber helps enhance the car's agility, responsiveness, and fuel efficiency.
Moreover, the aerodynamic benefits of carbon fiber are evident in the F-Type's performance. The material allows for intricate and precise shaping of body elements, minimizing air resistance and optimizing downforce. This results in improved stability at high speeds and better handling, providing drivers with a truly exhilarating experience on the road or track.
Chassis and Suspension Components:
Beyond the visible exterior, carbon fiber is also employed in critical chassis and suspension components. The Jaguar F-Type benefits from the use of carbon fiber-reinforced components, such as suspension arms and subframes. These elements contribute to a reduction in unsprung mass, improving the car's handling dynamics, responsiveness, and overall ride comfort.
The integration of carbon fiber in the chassis enhances torsional rigidity, reducing flex and improving the overall stability of the vehicle. This structural reinforcement is particularly crucial in a high-performance sports car like the F-Type, where precision and control are paramount.
Interior Elegance and Functionality:
The influence of carbon fiber extends into the interior of the Jaguar F-Type, where it is often featured in elements like trim panels, center consoles, and seat structures. Beyond its functional benefits, carbon fiber adds a touch of sophistication and modernity to the cabin, elevating the overall driving experience.
Conclusion:
In the world of automotive engineering, the Jaguar F-Type stands as a testament to the transformative power of carbon fiber materials. From the exterior's sleek design and aerodynamic prowess to the enhanced performance and structural integrity of chassis components, carbon fiber plays a pivotal role in shaping the F-Type into a true masterpiece on wheels.
As automotive technology continues to advance, we can expect to see further innovations in material science, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on the road. The marriage of luxury, performance, and advanced materials exemplified by the Jaguar F-Type sets a high standard for the industry, inviting enthusiasts to embark on a thrilling journey where artistry and innovation converge.

Jaguars Experts Share Final Analysis on Thursday Night Football Matchup vs. Saints
JACKSONVILLE – Each week during the 2023 season, Jaguars "experts" – Frank Frangie, Jeff Lageman, Brent Martineau, John Oehser, Brian Sexton, J.P. Shadrick and Kainani Stevens – will analyze the following day's Jaguars matchup.
Up this week:
The New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.
Frank Frangie, Radio Voice of the Jaguars
The Jaguars will win if: They run the football. At this writing, there was no word on whether the Jags will have Lawrence. If he doesn't play, or even if he does but has limited mobility, the team will have to rely a bit more on its running game. Which means a big game is necessary from Etienne. Even with a healthy Lawrence, this team is best when it has balance. Defensively, Brown or whoever replaces Campbell — who isn't expected to play — must play well because he will be targeted. That's a big key to the game.
The Saints will win if: They stuff the run and make the Jags one-dimensional – and if they can hit some big plays over the top. I don't think they will put together a lot of long drives.
As Frangie sees it: This is a tough out for the Jaguars. It's a short week, on the road, against a desperate team with a good defense. The Jags have to play a tough, efficient game to win.
Jeff Lageman, Jaguars analyst and former Jaguars defensive end
The Jaguars will win if: Their defense continues to make big plays. The Jaguars' defense leads the NFL in takeaways with 15 and continues to provide sparks for an offense that is still gaining momentum.
The Saints will win if: They have a fast start, getting the crowd going and putting the Jaguars in the position of playing catch up. The Saints' defense is impressive. With a lead, contending with it would be tough.
As Lageman sees it: Being the road team on a short week is very tough and will be a great test for a Jaguars team riding the high of a three-game win streak. The health of Lawrence's knee and the performance of his offensive line will be a huge factor in determining success. The entire league and nation is watching on Thursday night, and this presents a great opportunity.
Brent Martineau, Action Sports Jax Sports Director
The Jaguars will win if: Runing back Travis Etienne Jr. has over 120 yards from scrimmage. The Jaguars will need to effectively run against a good Saints defense. If they do, they can control the clock and set up big plays in the passing game. The Saints defense is allowing just 16 points per game, so anything north of 20 would be good.
The Saints will win if: They don't turn the ball over. In the last two years, the Jaguars have forced zero turnovers five times and lost all five games. New Orleans has eight turnovers this season, which is middle of the pack in the NFL. If the Saints don't let the Jaguars make a big defensive play, they likely win at home.
As Martineau sees it: The Jaguars are one of the hottest teams in the NFL and the Saints are one of the quirky teams in the NFL. I think it might be a weird game Thursday and probably a typical clunky Thursday night affair. I'm not getting off the Jaguars bandwagon right now so let's go with a 23-19 win.
Tumblr media
Jordan Herald/Jacksonville Jaguars
John Oehser, jaguars.com senior writer
The Jaguars will win if: They force multiple turnovers and hold the Saints to 20 points. Whatever Lawrence's status with a knee injury sustained last week in a victory over the Colts, the Jaguars figure to be limited offensively. This is a game for an opportunistic Jaguars defense to continue making key plays at key moments. If they can create points or short fields defensively, the Jaguars can overcome a slew of injuries.
The Saints will win if: They score in the red zone and pressure the Jaguars into mistakes. The Saints have been effective offensively between the 20s and they are a good defense. If they can score when they're close to the end zone and score three touchdowns, they will be tough to beat in what for them is close to a desperation game.
As Oehser sees it: This matchup is tough for the Jaguars for multiple reasons, only one of which is Lawrence's knee. They could be missing multiple starts, including Campbell, and they're playing a third game in 12 days. It will take a mammoth defensive effort for the Jaguars to win this one.
Brian Sexton, jaguars.com senior correspondent
The Jaguars will win if: They overcome key injuries. We can start with quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the offensive line. Lawrence must be on the field to give the Jaguars the best chance to win and he must have a clean pocket. Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell's hamstring is a problem this week against Saints wide receivers Chris Olave and Michael Thomas after Montaric Brown – playing in place of Campbell – struggled to keep up with Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman last week. Backups must play like starters on a short week.
The Saints will win if: Saints quarterback Derek Carr has time to stand in the pocket and find those receivers. Carr hasn't been the upgrade New Orleans thought they were getting, but we saw him with the Las Vegas Raiders last season and he's more than capable of taking advantage of your weaknesses. The Jaguars must attack him like they did Indianapolis Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew last week, because Carr is capable of beating you.
As Sexton sees it: This is a tough game to call. The Jaguars should be able to win a game with backup players; the Cleveland Browns won last week against the San Francisco 49ers with a journeyman backup quarterback who wasn't in their training camp and the New York Jets beat the Philadelphia Eagles with two backup cornerbacks. But this is the Jaguars' third game in 12 days on two continents and that's a lot to overcome.
J.P. Shadrick, jaguars.com senior reporter
The Jaguars will win if: They continue to play defense at a high level. They are now third in the league against the run, and that has led to teams giving them the ball to the tune of a league-high 15 takeaways. The offense has been effective at moments, but now is battling through some key injuries. Can they lean on Etienne and the running game as heavily as they have so far? Etienne leads the NFL in rushing attempts.
The Saints will win if: They can possess the football and cash in for touchdowns. The Saints have scored just over 18 points per game, so this is far from an explosive attack so far. If they take advantage of any changes in the Jags secondary with a veteran quarterback in Carr, the Saints could be on their way.
As Shadrick sees it: It is always difficult to travel for Thursday Night Football, especially with so many injuries for the Jaguars. If Lawrence can go, and stay out of harm's way, then the Jaguars have their best opportunity with a defense that is feeling it right now.
Kainani Stevens, Jaguars.com reporter
The Jaguars will win if: The defense continues to dominate. New Orleans' offense has struggled mightily with Carr and not much creativity in the passing game. If the Jags can continue to force turnovers, they put a lot of pressure on a struggling Saints offense.
The Saints will win if: Lawrence doesn't play or is seriously limited by his knee injury. Backup C.J. Beathard is certainly familiar with Head Coach Doug Pederson's offense but putting that into action in a hostile environment is an entirely different story. I think the Jags offense will struggle this week regardless of who is QB1 and it will end up being a defensive battle.
As Stevens sees it: I'll ride with the Jags. I don't think it will take more than one or two touchdowns to win this game. Anything the Jags can do to take the crowd out of it early will benefit them. I say Jags 13-10.

Bugger of a Result for Buffalo Bills
Bollocks.  Do you typically sleep until noon Eastern on Sunday?  The Bills did despite playing in the European future.  The Buffalo Prince Williams coasted like royalty.  But American standings reveal they’re not entitled to a crown.  Zay Jones scored?  Europe is the worst country ever.
Depriving another nation of the chance to see proficient play irked Roger Goodell, but that’s small comfort for the more underwhelming side.  It’s traditional for first quarters to end 11-0 in case British viewers were confused.  We then don cowboy hats before driving Cadillacs to McDonald’s for the fireworks show.  Rugby doesn’t feature as much kicking as Sam Martin executed.  Boot it away in the World Cup’s honor.
An allegedly unstoppable offense stopped itself.  Dawson Knox was Buffalo’s worst defender.  Drops prevented a few first downs that would’ve let teammates convalesce for a few minutes.  Oh, and they might’ve led to scores, too.  On a day when the depleted defense need a break and points, their teammates couldn’t manage to move the ball a few meters.  Wankers put forth the metric of performances.
Can any British people play defense?  Pulling someone out of the crowd to compete would’ve truly made attendance magical.  I wish the figurative lottery wasn’t in response to injuries at every turn.  Trying to win without Matt Milano was a bleak struggle this club will have to learn to do every week.  Meanwhile, the defense had to and didn’t replace Tre White.  Put bust Kaiir Elam in the British Museum.  An undeserved position based on unearned status makes him Buffalo’s Charles III.
Micah Hyde was one of the few starters left and played like a sub.  The failure to keep pace wasn’t entirely his fault.  Blame a baffling scheme that put an aging satety in single coverage on Calvin Ridley.  The head coach should fire whoever it is that calls the defense.
You get flagged for playing defense in Britain, too.  Jordan Poyer got punished for performing a job task.  I am sorry to new attendees who heard this sport permitted legal contact between humans.  Penalties for obeying rules are an American tradition that’s the equivalent taking the lift then the lorry to the high street for an eel pie under a bowler.
Londonvon had an understandably limited impact.  Seeing Von Miller venture past the sideline was fantastic even if it was during a very far away home game.  His play limit kept him from manning middle linebacker and cornerback simultaneously.  Coaches were tempted.
A bit after sunrise is a very convenient time to be frustrated.  Fans got the rest of the day to watch games while stewing about an underwhelming voyage.  Thank the league once again for caring so much about their fans.  Use deadpan sarcasm in Britain’s honor.  The play was as bad as a Thursday night game.  A tendency for one side to look unprepared in gimmick games is even worse when it’s your side.
The need to compete remains after hoopla subsides.  Oh, right: there was a game.  The Bills looked surprised.  Wasn’t this a vacation to see the birthplace of Benny Hill?  A matchup that was not a must-win but a shouldn’t-lose was lost during an event-style outing.
You’d think they might want more time on their trip.  Looking uninspired inspired questions about whether they should have arrived a few days earlier.  Another day or two would have allowed them to get in more practice and pub time.
London is the only place farther from Buffalo than Orchard Park.  A smallish stadium to host an NFL game is regrettable enough for a one-time stunt and particularly unfortunate considering it’s been cited as a design inspiration for Orchard Park’s newest example of old bad urban planning.  I wonder if the owner of whatever a Tottenham Hotspur is suckered taxpayers into coerced funding.
Losing to the Jaguars in a vexatious game in London despite a tease of a futile comeback is nothing new.  That’s quite a specific precedent.  This franchise’s outlook is certainly better than when EJ Manuel traveled abroad and showed why he should have been left there.  But the same type of maddening result feels even worse with higher expectations than were provided by a reach of a quarterback.  Jacksonville is a London borough.  The Tube doesn’t reach Duval County, yet.
A Sunday night game seems commonplace by comparison to one across an ocean.  The Bills could commemorate a return to semi-normal by getting back to whatever routine allowed both aspects to flourish.  The novelty of an outing has a huge effect on standings.  A second loss this soon into the season’s second month isn’t assuaging pessimists who spent the offseason fretting that the window was closing.  If you’re also sick of that phrase, know the team is the only one who can squash the notion.
Worrying if decline is setting in remains.  A depleted defense couldn’t cover or tackle while the most amazing offense ever had one touchdown seven-eighths of the way through.  Confiscating a home game wasn’t enough of a slight.
Playing in that manner would’ve disappointed attendees in their regular venue, too.  The NFL is trying to show British people that their sport is superior to kicky football, and the Bills come in and barely score above nil.

The Titans’ Season Is Over And I’m Just Going To Drunkenly Blog Through My Emotions Right Now
This one hurt. Titans lose to the Jaguars and miss out on the playoffs, losing 7-straight games after starting the season 7-3. I’m sad. I’m a little tipsy. And I’m fading. So what better postgame thing to do than to drink. And blog. Probably not smart, but hey, better to drink and blog than to drink and drive. Right, Todd? ➡ Why do we even watch sports anyway? ➡ That Jags fumble return felt like…

Jackson State: 2022 SWAC Football Champions
Tumblr media
JACKSON, Miss.- The Jackson State University football team defeated Southern 43-24 Saturday in the Cricket SWAC Championship game.
Jackson State (12-0) won its 18th SWAC Championship and clinched a berth in the Cricket Celebration Bowl set for Saturday, December 17 in Atlanta versus North Carolina Central. It is the first back-to-back SWAC titles for JSU since 1995-96.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was named Offensive MVP after passing for 320 yards and four touchdowns. Linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr. was named Defensive MVP after making five tackles, one sack, and three tackles for loss.
The opening 11 minutes set the tone for the game. The nation's top ranked defense forced three turnovers (two fumbles, one interception), and made two sacks.
Following a three-and-out forced by the JSU defense, the Tigers' offense drove 61 yards in nine plays as Alejandro Mata's 22-yard field goal gave Jackson State a 3-0 lead.
On the ensuing possession, Herman Smith III intercepted a Southern pass and returned it 37 yards to the Jaguar one-yard line. Sy'Veon Wilkerson's one-yard TD run two plays later and PAT kick gave Jackson State a 10-0 lead with 8:26 to play in the first quarter.
On the ensuing possession, Miller Jr.'s sack and forced fumble was recovered by Antonio Doyle Jr. at the SU 14. On the next play, Sanders fired a 14-yard touchdown pass to Shane Hooks, and Kevin Coleman's two-point conversion pass gave JSU an 18-0 lead with 6:35 to play in the first quarter.
Jackson State made its third takeaway in as many possessions on the next Southern drive as Baron Hopson's sack and forced fumble was recovered by Justin Ragin at the JSU 42-yard line. The Tigers found the end zone again only four plays later as Sanders and Hooks connected on a 40-yard scoring pass. A Sanders-to-Coleman two-point conversion pass gave JSU a 26-0 lead with 3:51 to play in the opening period.
After Southern scored early in the second quarter, JSU scored on its fifth straight possession. A seven-play, 85-yard Jackson State drive ended with a 14-yard scoring pass from Sanders to Coleman, with Mata's PAT giving the Tigers a 33-7 lead with 11:25 to play in the first half.
After Southern closed the gap in the third quarter, JSU put the game away for good. Sanders threw his fourth TD pass of the game, a nine-yard strike to Rico Powers late in the period for the final margin.
