Hands clasped together tightly as he stood beside the table; he was hinged toward his guest. Slowly, his palms started to shift and wring. At first, when he opened his mouth to speak, the moisture in his throat dissipated entirely. After turning away and clearing his throat, a partially dry answer was delivered "First, I wanted to thank you for agreeing to this tasting," croaked Sanji, his pitch quavering on account of nerves, "They're a few recipes I'm playing with—er, trying to refine." Now consciously aware of the nervous kneading of his hands, the cook banished them behind his back. "So . . . if you wouldn't mind providing your full, honest feedback in return, I would appreciate that. The meal itself will be five courses." Once more his hands came front with a muffled clap. "Are you ready to begin?"

Delfino hisses to herself as she carefully wraps bandages around her waist in her room. The mission she went on wasn't meant to be too hard or anything, but the enemy still managed to get one cheap shot against her. The wound shouldn't need stitches, probably, but it still hurt like hell. The problem now though is trying to hide this injury. She can only hope she can pull this off right.

send 🫂 for three useless headcanons I have about our muses (for Sarina)

Both are survivors, so I see them both understanding when not to ask further.  They both remain quiet for the other to ponder in introspection and silence.  Squaletta may be loud like her canon self, but she probably enjoys the quiet and serenity of Sarina.  Sarina is bound to surprise the other woman by asking about Squaletta’s past after the academy years.  It helps the synergy between two comrades further should they tag-team.

Ten years later Sarina (35 years old I think?) and current Squaletta can safely ‘gossip’ or what Sarina calls as ‘collecting intel’ on the latest happenings within the many factions of the Vongola family.  They collect each other’s opinions on the matters over their lunch break.  Other times, they are probably complaining about Xanxus’ temper, Belphegor’s laziness, Levi, and the recent recruits' newbie moments.

I can see Squaletta giving Sarina tips on various swords considering one of Sarina’s cloud-dice weapons is a sword.  Meanwhile, Sarina gives tips on the mace, battle ax, and other weapons she has in her cloud dice.  Squaletta specializes in the sword, while Sarina is a “jack of all trades, master of none” type of warrior.  Sarina takes notes, as each swordsman is different in their style.

They probably gather in the kitchen with Lussuria cause it is the only safe place from Xanxus where they can talk smack.  The chefs would appreciate it more if they all talked less and got more food prepping done.  Still, do they look like they wear aprons?  Squaletta probably cuts vegetables with her sword, Lussuria and Sarina are both using military grade combat knives to peel the potatoes…

That would be my OC that I started with on this blog and I've had her for years. Eventually I transitioned her into the Once Upon a Time fandom, but that fandom died down and I eventually also lost interest in writing on tumblr for a while so that's why I'm not writing her anymore. Technically she's on this blog but I don't know how much she will be interacted with, if at all.

if you had to add one muse to your current muse list, who would it be and why?

Kassandra from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey without doubt. I adore Kass so much, and the game is one of my all time favourites. Her whole character is something I greatly vibe with.

“Stop,” Yamamoto’s voice cut through the air like his honed blade sharpened to a killing edge .  Keeping his tone as even as humanely possible, he eyes the person next to him slowly. “It’s not your place to tell her story, so shut up.”

Yamamoto turns away from the offending person who chose to speak on Squaletta’s past without her permission to do so. It was annoying and vexing. He was trying to push the thoughts from his head as if he was attempting to scrub the new intel from his brain.

He’s often been joked to be the idiot of the group, so why couldn’t it kick in now when he needed it to? The Rain Guardian would much rather hear the truth about her past from herself. If she never intended on telling him about her past, then there was all the more reason for him to not know anything.

What he had heard, was painful. It made his chest tighten at the thought that she’d been subjected to such things. It put things into perspective of why she was particularly sensitive about others touching her, why she was so loud and bigger than life, and why freedom meant so much to her. Her individualism was one of her biggest personality traits that made her… her.

Vexed, his fingers gripped around the hilt of his katana until his knuckles went white. He was angry, he felt sorry, and maybe a part of him felt pity for the circumstances a young girl was forced into, but moreover than all that combined, he felt proud.

Against all odds, she fought for her freedom. She kept her pride, and he fought tooth and nail until she made something of herself. Who would dare look down on the vice-commander of the Varia, who operate underneath the Vongola flag?

“Let’s finish this mission. Don’t waste your breath on meaningless stuff you have no right to talk about.” The finality of his voice spoke volumes. There was an inherent threat understood by the other person. If they continued to speak on Squaletta’s business, they would soon find themselves on the business end of Yamamoto’s katana.

Confusion contorted the dancer's features. Up on the balls of her feet, she rose. Arms stretched out; knees bent and bowed. A quick scan was performed following a swift swivel of her head. Nope. Nothing looked ( or felt ) broken or bloody. She could not even see a bruise! A few more times she bounced on the balls of her feet. Hmmm. She did not feel particularly tired, nor did she feel any fever-induced malaise. It would have been impossible to ignore if she were feeling unwell. It would have been impossible to move the way she usually did if she sustained an injury. "What do you mean?" Neela cooed in question, the heads of her brows slowly inching in to just kiss each other above a ( slightly ) crinkled nose. "I feel fine? Nothing's wrong with me. OH!" The dancer snapped her finger. A bright grin exploded forth. "Maybe there's something on my face? Is that it?!"

"Huh? Really? Damn-" Haru looks down at her cup of warm 'bean juice' as she sometimes called it. Coffee wasn't bad, but she somehow did have a stronger preference for tea. Maybe it's in her blood, she'd often muse to herself. "The taste isn't so bad, actually." She takes another sip.

She was sure from a food and safety standpoint, the beans were cleaned and sanitary or something.

"Wait, surely they feed the cats things other than coffee beans? That's gotta be abuse if they're only fed coffee beans." As a foodie, this is an outrage she can't stand for.

“The Prince is too smart to die to something so simple.”  Belphegor quickly ducked as a plate was thrown towards his head, letting out a whistle as he watched it hit the wall behind him.  Maybe he poked at Xanxus a bit too much today, but nothing that he was too worried about, besides Squaletta would be the one that would have to deal with the aftermath, not him.

my opinion on;

character in general: I always loved Squalo in the series. He was fierce and loud and angry and he had every right to be. how they play them: You do a wonderful job. You have that same fierceness in Squaletta and the snarky remarks and bluntness are on brand. the mun: Lexy, you're awesome. You doubt yourself sometimes, I've noticed, but you shouldn't. You're doing wonderful. You're a very kind and patient person as well and I respect that from you so much. It means a lot that you're so calm and willing to wait for a response even when it takes me 3 months. You're fun to talk to and even more fun to write with and I'm proud to call you a friend.

overall opinion: An amazing take on fem Squalo and a top tier blog I highly recommend.

Using the Vongola Ring of Sun while inhaling deeply, Ryohei unleashed the Sun Flames' Activation attribute and applied everything, concentrating the power, directly in his throat. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for Colonello's teaching to use the power of his cells, channeling each and every one into one, condensed outburst. And -- --

-- --... ... The White House. President B***n doing about his business, on a major phone call when all of a sudden, the windows began rattling. Violently, menacingly. The desk began shaking in the quake as what the President perceived to be an incoming earthquake, escalated into the very windows of the office breaking inwards, causing the old man to cower beneath his desk, demanding security from his phone -- but it was to no avail; communications ceased.

The President was left defenseless, ears unfortunately suspect to receiving the far-end of a scream that, as impossible it is to believe, actually came from the other side of the world.
