In your Rollar club
Who is the better skater?
Oh Dinah is hands down the best. It does not matter what she is competing in, this girl is WILDLY good at it. You put her on wheels and she can own any sport you come up with. There's a reason why she's the head of the operation.

Dinah and CB's styles? Also, are they best freinds in this?
Dinah's clothing styles alternate, a lot of the time when going to school and out places with her family or her friends she chooses to wear a lot dresses, has an outfit that's pretty similar to her musical outfit actually. That isn't to say she doesn't wear things like jeans and a simple t-shirt, but she really likes to appear feminine because it just makes her feel good, so she tries to opt for clothing that suits that. Also wears makeup but not as heavily as the electric twins do. Real "I love being a woman so much despite the hardships I face" type of girl. Will never wear a dress to something like camping or fishing or just general goofing off though, she has the sense about her to not chance ripping up her favorite outfits. CB dresses like some odd mix between a country boy and a 12-year-old at an arcade. Wears a characteristic red bandana that he's had for quite a few years and has a big thing for the color red, used to avoid wearing the bandana to school because he got picked on a bit and nobody took Rusty seriously, which made him leave it home for fear that a bully would take it and damage it or simply steal it from him. Greaseball stepped in eventually and made everyone back off, so now CB wears the bandana practically everywhere. He has a little cap he likes to wear as well, and it hides most of his hair if positioned right. He likes to wear boots, has a slightly beat up pair of black boots that he wears out almost anywhere, Momma keeps offering to buy him new ones but he denies the offer every time. Don't fix what ain't broken, after all!
And yes, they are very close friends! Met through Greaseball and Rusty becoming friends, though their relationship is much more solid and less unpredictable than Dinah's boyfriend and CB's dear older brother. CB will sit with Dinah when she's feeling low and will do everything he can to cheer her up, and Dinah will try and do the same for him, she's a very loving friend. They enjoy baking together too! Dinah works at an actual diner and she's always had a love for cooking of all kinds, so her friends all help out from time to time, but CB is her very favorite helper. Sometimes they'll hang out just the two of them, especially if Rusty and Greaseball are fighting again.

K, LOVE your Roller club au...and so, I must give the obligatory "Tell me about Flat-Top in this au" ask 👀
Gladly 😌 Flaaats my guy, Flint as is his human name, dear good buddy and also the annoyingest older brother to possibly exist. I'm a sucker for the idea of Rusty and the freight being siblings so I wanted to apply that to this au as well. Rusty's household is kind of an interesting place, they have a fairly big house that they're able to maintain decently, but this is only because their adoptive mother was a pretty popular lady awhile back and garnered a lot of money from her line of work.
Flint and Dustin are the oldest of the bunch, same age with incredibly close birthdays (only a month apart) but they act wildly different even though they play the same role.
Flint is a lot more wild and out there and rebellious than his brother, gets mixed up in things and has a tooth missing from a fight in middle school.
When it comes to his status as one of the eldest siblings, Flat-Top takes a very chaotic approach to things. If he was left in charge of rallying everyone to breakfast, he'd be bursting into their rooms and shouting at them to "Get a move on! We all got school, I know we do!"
Like all the other characters, his musical name is his nickname. Why is his nickname Flat-Top? No clue.
Flint's got a friendship with Greaseball as well, though his friendship with GB is less strained, they get along pretty decently all things considered and Flat-Top loves to hang out with the guy. He's also pretty good pals with most of GB's friends (his "gang").
Bullies Rusty about his crush on Pearl SO much. If they meet in the hallway during class changes and he catches Rusty eyeing Pearl, you better believe that he's going to say something about it. It's all in good fun though, when it comes down to the basics, Flint's willing to do anything for his siblings. They mean the world to him even if he picks at them sometimes.
Tight as hell with Dustin. They stuck together when they first met as young kids and have been sticking together ever since. Absolutely unmatched duo, do not fuck with Dustin unless you wanna get smacked.
He has his brick btw. He stole it from a construction site, and he once smashed a window with it for fun. Nobody ever found out and he finds that incredibly funny.

What are the freight kids' hobbies or interests (outside of roller skating)?
Ruth (aka Rocky 3) is real big on collecting rocks and gemstones. Even if they're not anything special, she's a big fan of it. If the kids go down to the river together, she usually comes back with at least three random rocks she found that she insists she needs for her collection.
Rowan and Robin (Rocky 2 and Rocky 1) share a lot of interests, they're big on collecting things as well, but they lean more towards collecting random little things like shed snakeskin or bird feathers. It's a very enjoyable hobby. Other than that, Robin really likes swimming, and he's pretty damn good at it too.
Dustin's big on reading. He has a whole bookshelf on his side of the room (they have to share rooms bc of the sheer amount of kids in this house, Dustin shares with Flat-Top) and he's read almost all the books on there at least four times, always trying to find new ones. In a bit of a contrast to his siblings, he actually kind likes math. Finds it a bit fun in all honesty...which also means he's usually helping his siblings with their math homework.
Caleb (aka CB) plays guitar! He's pretty good at it too! In addition to that, like his musical counterpart, he has a bit of a fondness for cb radio codes, uses them in his daily speech even though others find it a little strange. He basically has every single one memorized.
Would now be a good time to mention that all of these kids are some sort of neurodivergent
