Sexy 5: Shopping Miss Ulala Selected for its unique status as personal wear. Take a close look, there isn't a Channel 5 logo in sight.
Sexy 6: Refreshing Miss Ulala The blue and white stripes are refreshingly fresh. Looks cool and keeps her cool, too.

p. 182 Witness List
~A Record of 120 Individuals Who Danced in Purge’s Master Plan to Make the Whole Galaxy Dance~
Concluding this book is a compilation of the known suspects and victims, interviewed by the officers assigned this case. Not all individuals who were abducted are listed, and, in some instances, details were added to the publication without permission. Rest assured, those indisputably involved in resolving the case are registered. Additionally, this book is an accumulation of testimonies from those involved. As such, we are confident in this book’s value as a historical document. It'll be a beneficial contribution to the Space Police Cultural Research Department's ever growing library, as requested by their history experts. –Pine
Mm, well, that’s all the profiles recorded. Below the registration number and the individual's name is the registration location, and below that is the text that appear on the profile screen. Then there’s the notes section. It works like this: you notice how the secret input note for character 002 says "(see 115)" at the end? That means you gotta check out character 115’s profile before character 002 will fess up the details. There are notes on how to receive certain outfits and items, too. Well, I'm outta here. –Texas

p. 177 Ulala Poem
This is a "poem" written by Ulala (22), a Space Channel 5 reporter. Her hopes for the future after the incident (which she made no direct comment on) have been poured into every word. After reading it, the station's director, Fuse, refrained from publishing it, so Ulala turned it in to the Space Police herself. It was then seized, or rather received, as a part of the case file. The full text is shown below.

p. 160 Noize's Evaluation: The Curtain Falls on the Rhythm Rogues' Attack
Whereabouts of the Blown-Away Purge Thanks to the Astrobeat Jr., I was able to watch, firsthand, as the dance energy of 86,429 individuals combined into something truly spectacular. But I wonder… what happened to Purge? I don't recall Ms. Pine arresting him… were you content with him being blasted away? I dunno. Looking at the lyrics, "All the whole wide galaxy dances for me; yes, I'll make each one of you very happy," maybe he really thought he was the good guy here. Near the end, I think he said something like, "I won't forget this!" Or maybe it was, "See you next week!" Honestly, I’m a lil' worried. Even Mr. Blank was able to covertly return, so…
Ms. Ulala Marching On Anyway, the last was really cool, wasn’t it. Just wow… The Super Ulala Dimension dance and melody was so powerful I could see and hear it from the outside, too. It felt like something straight out of “Ten Billion Days and One Hundred Billion Nights.” It was like a holy cosmic showdown! It really was… I wonder if the “power of love” did all that. To cap it all off, everyone joined in to do the Space Channel 5 pose. I was so relieved everything was finally over. After that, as you know, we marched away like it was a regal procession. I couldn’t just leave after Ms. Ulala cheered, “Let’s march to the ends of the galaxy!" so I ended marching about 24 more space kilometers.
That’s where the report itself ended. Ms. Ulala, though, she was still so full of energy, even after marching, that she went off to dance somewhere else (laughs). The day after that, my team had the day off. Not that we had much to do in the first place. By then, the incident became a huge story picked up by all the regular news shows, rather than special report teams. Despite the whole fiasco, the government didn't really give us anymore commendations, and everything soon went back to normal. Ms. Ulala is still being routinely scolded by Mr. Fuse. I don't think that will ever change.

When Mr. Fuse Returned Sometime after I landed the Astrobeat Jr. to watch Ulala and the other’s grand march, Mr. Fuse came down to join me. While we were watching, I said to him "Nice job, Mr. Fuse. I can't believe you're alright." I really thought he met a gruesome fate after the Astrobeat was blasted down. Apparently, he was able to escape unscathed due a number of factors (you can hear the details right outta Mr. Fuse's mouth on the soundtrack CD released on April 24, 2002). I guess it was a traumatic experience regardless, since he went to his usual drinking spot as soon the show was over.
What Did I Do Next? Right now, I'm being interviewed by the Space Police… I don't really mind, they're being nice. But after the incident, I had my hands full! I was involved in the major project to recover all the antennas that had been modified by Purge; it happens when you’re a Technical Development chief with deep connections in the industry. At least the huge dance floor Purge constructed made it easy for all of us to work simultaneously. After about three days, we finally finished and I returned to modifying microphones for Ulala to use while incognito. I made some that look like an ice cream cone, an ear of corn, and a couple of other things.

Report 6 & Repeat 6 Last but not least, here are the final instructions prepared by director Fuse for the live broadcast of "Ulala's Swingin' Report Show," presented in an easy-to-read fashion. Its contents show useful tips for succeeding on the secret input locations. Modifications made for the rerun broadcasts for "Ulala's Swingin' Report Show" (Reruns have unique features from the first airing) are also included. Note, the timing and locations of the secret inputs are exactly the same between the main (Lap 1) and rerun broadcasts (Lap 2).
The Hidden Inputs
[1~2] Return of Mexican Flyer It’s finally back, the last "Jan, Jan, Jaaaan!," featuring the fan-favorite second and third beat of "Mexican Flyer." After Report 2,"Mexican Flyer" took a long hiatus, but these "Jan, Jan" timings haven’t changed one bit! Let's go, all together now! "Jan, Jan, Jaaaan!"
Jan! Jan! Jaaan!

[3] Ulalaaa! U! La! La! Purge the Great had overwhelming power in the confined space of Dance Dimension X. Ulala skillfully dodged the volley of beams, but even she couldn’t outmaneuver an all-out attack, and fell unconscious. However, Ulala came to her senses once she heard the rhythm of her friends calling to her in her mind. But, there was only three seconds left before the Ballistic Groove Gun fired! That would've be the end of the report! What was your quote, Ulala? That's right, it was "when have I ever lost at dancing! Get the secret input "pikoon" right after "lost!"
When have I ever lost [beat] at dancing!
[When Ulala's face pops up, that's the signal that she's ready to shout. The ratings are almost at 200%, rise up and give it your all!]
Flub the Final Finale and Face the Staff Roll Be careful not to miss the final "Chu! Chu! Chu!" mixed in with all the hype. A few mistake here and there before then is fine—reasonable, even—but the ending of the game changes if you flub here. This ending is a not-so-special shortened staff roll against a pitch-black screen, devoid of President Peace’s song. Needless to say, there's no group "March to the End of the Galaxy" either. And on top of all that, Purge won't perform his last hurrah (an input that can increase your ratings by one percent) at the end of the credits! So, if you screw up right at the end, you'll have to redo the entire report again, no matter what! Try again!
[Here’s the rundown on the failure ending; Mexican Flyer plays and the credits roll by super fast. The ratings? 149% at the most.]
[Now, the successful ending. We get to march to the ends of the galaxy and you get to hear the full lyrics of President Peace's soulful song. You get the complete credits roll, too.]

p. 164 Reference Material Direct Hit Interview with Pres. Peace, Post-incident
~Tachibana, interviewing Space President Peace~ Hey, Texas here. The following is an interview conducted by Tachibana of Channel 01. But really, I’m sneakin' this in 'cause Piney, who was with me during this, was being so adorable and hilarious while we moved through the crowd. After the battle with Purge was over, the press started surrounding President Peace, so the president had to walk with Pine leading the way.
Pine: Attention, all members of the press, Space President Peace is very tired at the moment. Reporters, please get out of the way immediately. Reporter 66: Mr. President, a word please… Pine: Please, move out of the way! Reporter 59: Mr. President, do you have any comments… Pine: Get out of the way! (The press still are pouring in) Pine: I said outta the way! Tachibana: Excuse me, Mr. President, may I have a word? Pine, who's heart skips a beat: Oh my gosh! It's Tachi, (Pine's nickname for him), my ideal man, so full of reason and intelligence aaaah!) Pine: Alright (ba-dump), Tachibana from Channel 01, you may approach. Tachibana: Mr. Peace, I hope you're in good health. Peace: Thank you, I'm as healthy as I can be. Tachibana: Could you comment on the recent disturbance? Peace: I believe I can disclose this now, since the case has been successfully and safely resolved… That being said, please, don't hate Purge too much. I don't think his goal to make the galaxy happy was overtly malicious. I think it was just… over the top? He meant well, but went about it the wrong way. Tachibana: I see, thank you very much. Reporter 21: Mr. President, may we have a comment? Pine: Shut up! Tachi is still talking! Reporter 21: Oh, my apologizes… wait, "Tachi"…? Pine: … (I'm done for, I wanna run away). Tachibana: I can ask the question for you, if that's alright? Pine: Ah, alright. (Angrily turns to Reporter 21) Since Mr. Tachibana also asked, I'll allow you to do so, too. But please, limit it to just one question. Reporter 21: Right. Mr. President, what do you make of Ulala? Peace: When I saw the live report of the "Morolian Incident" I was honestly so moved. The fact there are still youngsters who can deeply inspire others, it reminded me that how much good is still in the universe. Disregarding my presidential status, I cannot help by appreciate the fact she saved so many people, including myself, who were under the influence of dance beam. However, I'm not judging her solely as a reporter, but her nature as a person. That is all. Reporter 21: Thank you very much. Pine: Mr. Tachibana, would you like to ask one more question? Tachibana: Yes. Mr. President, what are your thoughts on the current security? Pine: (ba-dump) Peace: Even though I was abducted, I was saved and guided to safety by Miss Pine here, so I think she gets a passing grade. Aha ha ha ha ha! Now then, if you'll excuse me. (Pine shakes Tachibana's hand and slips him a piece of paper) Tachibana: … A phone number??? Pine: (Tachi…)

Costumes Cleaning isn’t in Miss Ulala’s repertoire, so the burden of tidying up the Changing Room always falls on us. She'll swear she’ll pitch-in but she never follows through. It’s kinda irritating. Most outfits are returned as soon as the report ends, but some aren’t collected until a few hours after. So, it’s not unusual for some to go missing during that gap. I wonder when we'll have them all again.

p. 124 Pudding’s Interview? About Ulala’s Weakness, the Space Pirates, & Jaguar
…My blood type is AB, my specialty is knowing the latest gossip, five years ago I used to just be an idol, but I decided to become a reporter. One of my hobbies is riding around on my space bike. Wondering if that’s all I have to say? I’m all done talking about myself, so I guess I’ll go home now. (A minute later)… Fine, fine, since you’re fussing so much, I’ll stay in the interview room. It’s like I’m a prisoner here. Huh? You want me to talk about Ulala and Jaguar? Tch, so that’s what you want to know. You should’ve said that from the start so I wouldn’t have rushed to give my profile information. That’s way more interesting. Now I’m upset. (The hosts bring in one of her favorite foods, kuzumochi) Oh, well now, that’s smart of you. Fine, I guess I’ll tell you about them. Alright, this gives you 20 minutes, after that, I’m leaving.
About Ulala A while back, then…Ulala was…Ah, just the other day I was tricked into advertising for Channel 5, but I didn’t know it was for them at the time… Even though it was for our own publicity too, I can’t believe we were promoting our rival station of all things…That has to be one of the biggest regret I’ve ever had in my entire life… Pretty shocking, huh? Not only that, but I even lost the guitar duel, I was sure I was gonna win that. Double the shock there. If this keeps on happening, I’m going to have to do everything in my power to get Ulala to lose ratings for Channel 5!
Well, I know all of Ulala’s weakness, so if I need to fight her, I’ll be prepared~. What, you wanna know them, too? Hmm, Ulala’s weaknesses. She’s afraid of deafening silence. I guess drifting all alone in a spaceship accident was very traumatic for her since she was so little. But this weakness could be fading; the scars on people’s hearts can heal. Anyway, I know a way more direct weakness! Spicy things. Things like space wasabi, space mustard, and spices, she can’t handle any of those. Teeheehee. I wonder, what kind of trick should I pull to get her to eat something with space wasabi?
-
Lv. 4 Groove 120
Right Right Righ- Righ- Woof Woof Woof
p. 125
Her favorite food is roasted space duck so maybe I’ll make it and season it with a good amount of the spices under  the skin. It’d be delicious… (looks off into the distance absentmindedly for about 47 seconds). Ah, I made myself drool. Hehe.
And then there’s Jaguar, I’d call that a weakness, too… heh (couldn’t stop laughing for 1 minute and 9 seconds). Jaguar is a person Ulala admires (old news).  Well, Ulala throws a tantrum like a little kid if I even sneer at her, I could lure her out with just Jaguar’s name, then prank her or whatever, but I’m not gonna do that.  I’m not that mean!!
About Jaguar Well, speaking of Jaguar, he’s honestly really cool. Especially since he’s the leader of the Space Pirate Broadcasting Station (a group that goes around in the Space Pirate ship, Bad Tuning, and broadcasts all over the galaxy. Naturally, they’re all space pirates). He’s a man, who no matter what happens, always seeks the truth. I guess you can call him irresistible, right! Hehe. Oh, also, don’t mention that I drooled earlier… If you do my reputation will be ruined! By the way, apparently he looks like the person who saved Ulala, when she was all alone during that one accident. He’s the dashing type of guy that’s always coming and going like the wind, and always comes to help even if you don’t ask for it.
There’s a lot of rumors going around about his past too, like that he went into hiding ‘cause someone wanted the those connected to reporting that accident out of the picture, some say he used to be a reporter for Channel 5, but others say he wasn’t. Or that he was just a random man that happened to be there during the time of the incident. With Channel 5 under new management now, there’s even newer rumors about him springing up. Like that the Space Pirate Broadcasting Station was really made to get revenge against Channel 5. It must be kinda nice to have that kind of popularity, it’s like Ulala and Jaguar are the stars of a Space Romance. Ah, anyway, was there anything else I needed to talk about…?
[Translator’s notes: by “out of the picture” he means end his career for ever. Basically have him blacklisted (or worse). Space Romance as in the genre.]

Ulala’s Stars: 14 I applaud you Space Channel 5… for avoiding the Playgirl’s missile volley. Now it’s time for my signature "Battling Drums!" I was excited about this. I was wondering if you'd be able to play the drums as good as you can play the guitar. Oh yeah, there's more secret input spots before and after the battle.

Report 1: Ulala Back in Action!
Location:The Space Symphony 12 People to Rescue, 7 Secret Inputs
The Space Symphony… this is where the whole incident began. It was our mission to get to the bottom of why this mysterious dance gang, the self-declared “Rhythm Rogues,” were invading the ship. …And as to how we, the Space Police, were beaten to the punch by Channel 5. It's still a bit irritating, admittedly…

Dancing
Ulala’s Hearts: 7 The intro "Jan, Jan, Jaaan!" has hidden inputs between the second and third beats. After that, the Dance Battle against the Rhythm Rogues finally starts, but it’s pretty low stakes. If you pay attention to the news bulletin, you shouldn’t have any problems with the long input "chu~" parts. By the way, there is a secret input on the “yay,” which will be a frequently reoccurring input later on. Be sure to make note of it.

Shooting
Ulala’s Hearts: 12 This section is for learning the basics of shooting. There's a pattern to it; X for attacking and O for rescuing. Even if you make a few mistakes, you'll still be able rescue plenty of people. Seems like the completion of the character profile index relies on your rescue aim,  but that's not the Eastern Sector Space Police's business. Ah, right, the "whoo!" near the end also has a secret input.

Dancing
Ulala’s Hearts: 6 Now it’s a dance paired with a song… The lyrics may change between the enemies and allies, but the timing of the inputs remain exactly the same. Be cautious and don’t let the enemy's singing sidetrack you. At the end, if you successfully rescue the Space Guide, the next secret input will be signaled by one last "whoo!" Surely you’ve memorized the pattern by now, haven't you?

Morolian to Morolian Communication
Pudding: Get your coverage from Channel 42! Good evening, everybody, it's me, Pudding! Hey, hey, you're all hooked up, right? So, just to get this out of the way, could you guys tell me what you're up to since the last incident? Cred: Pudding wants to know, moro? Pudding: Yes, but I want you  to describe it to the audience. Morolian Boss: That sounds fine, moro. Morolian Eight: We're in the reporting biz now. Everyone keep watching for Moro-Channel 5!  We'll be following up on the Rhythm Rogues Incident. Don't go skipping our show by pressing the start button. Morolian Cameraman: Television is a very interesting thing, moro. It's super sexy and addicting, moro. Plurp: But it's not all fun and games, moro. Gromb: The live reports were pretty tough, moro. Pudding: Huh, which part? Proonk: You know, moro, the part where we have to stay off-screen and wait for our cue to come on, moro. Cred: Aah, you mean the Secret Inputs, where we need to pop-up when it's done correctly, right moro? Blib: That's right, moro. Yaroo: But if the player doesn't input the command, you just have to wait and wait; it's a real pain, moro. Cred: You can say that again, moro. Blib: Wait then jump all over the screen, moro.To the right, then the left, then the bottom: it was all super hard for me, moro. Proonk: Yeah, those sudden changes in position take a lot of energy, doesn't they, moro? Yaroo: It's really hard, moro. I could feel my blood rushing to the tips of my antennae, moro. Gromb: It was a tough time, wasn't it, moro? (In deep thought) Plurp: Oh, by the way, why don’t we show up in Report 2’s Space Park even if they got the Secret Input right, moro? Why was it just the sound effect, moro? Morolian Leader: I dunno, moro. Maybe they just didn't get there in time, moro? Morolian Eight: Maybe, moro. Pudding: Wha-what are you talking about? Tell me! Morolian Eight: Well, I really didn’t have the time for “Pop-up-Moro” since I was busy recording stuff for Moro-Channel 5. Morolian Boss: What a joke, moro. Morolian Cameraman: Yeah, no excuses, moro. Pudding: Anyway, aren't you guys gonna go back to Morodia? Proonk: It's too much of a hassle to go back, moro. Morolian Cameraman: Come to think of it, I don't even remember the way back, moro. I guess we have no choice but to work at Moro-Channel 5 all the time now, moro? Morolian Boss: That's fine, moro.

p. 116 Reference Material Fuse's Fanservice Supercut of Women (Reporters): A Collection of Videos Created by the Director of Channel 5
While investigating the Space Arena, we found footage that appears to be edited by Fuse, the director of Channel 5's Special Report Team. Although the video seems voyeuristic, technically the clips are taken directly from the news broadcasts, as opposed to anything original, so there's no evidence of any foul play. But, since it's possible that there could have been other intentions in mind, aside from using the footage for reports, we interviewed the person in question. Fuse admitted the video was made as a side-hobby but vowed that there was no intention for the video, nor the woman's poses, to be anything beyond that.
Location: Space Park On the left is Ulala innocently flashing her panties while rescuing Recorder Primary Schooler and his pals in the rerun. In the center are the rest of the space primary schoolers (naturally, they're not the video's focus; while one should always watch out for dangerous people, Fuse is just offbeat and on the fruity side). On the right is a panty shot from Padding, a talented comedian who still going strong at 48 years old.
On the left is a shot of the Space Bird Mistress, or maybe it's the Space Dog Mistress, not sure. On the right's Ulala in the Greenhouse. Clips of her struggling against the vines were also included. It's an outrageous claim but we can't shake the suspicion that Fuse may have a penchant for SM.
- Lv. 10 Groove 111
Right Left Chu- Chu- Chu
[Translator’s note: This part sucks. Anyway, the actual title is is called “Fuse’s voyeuristic video,” which is why the first body of text make reference to that. I have no idea if Fuse named it that or if the Space Police did. Unfortunately, the thing about the Space Primary Schoolers was originally worded much, much worse as well. Also they call Fuse “moho-like” there, which was (at the time) a work-safe way of saying homo.]
p. 117
Location: Space Symphony On the left is a Bartender Girl from the first rerun report. There were also clips of the rarely seen Spaceship Lounge Girl and the Woman in Yellow. Next is a modest panty shot of the Chorus Lady. Finally, on the right is a still of Ulala from a sweeping shot executed by the camera's autopilot.
Location: The Playgirl On the left is Texas (not Pine), followed an image of her comrades, Sexy 1 and 2. They seem to be a point of interest in the reruns. On the right is Ulala flying towards Channel 5's HQ. This is exemplary of how even long skirts are not free from wardrobe mishaps at certain angles.
Location: Channel 5 HQ First is a close-up of a Space Cheerleader's leg. If anything can be seen, the camera is too close to tell. Next is flash from Evila, but her scary face is far more imposing. Last is a low angle shot that occurs after Ulala rescues Michael. Ulala herself has a mature attractiveness here.

A Child Police Spy's Undercover Investigation Men, Women, and the Secret of Adults
First Part My code-name is "Kunoichi," I'm a Child Police Spy.  Because of my job, I know a bit more about adult situations compared to the other space primary school students my age. There are times where I have to go undercover to investigate somewhat risky and dubious crimes… Once, while I was wandering around the Rescue Police's offices, I pretended to be an ordinary space primary school student visitor. The Rescue Police troops, thinking that a kid wouldn't care, started talking about a time they had a blind date with the Space Cheerleaders. They were all very excited.
"Well, I've been single my whole life. So I couldn't resist going, even if it was just to smell her perfume."
"Right?"
"I was sorta disappointed. I thought I'd at least get to see a little mini-skirt and leg action."
"Usually cheerleaders wouldn't be interested in five guys like us!"
"Wasn't one of them?"
"You mean [redacted]?"
"Yeah, you were hitting it off with [redacted]."
"Did you give her your number?"
At that moment, the Rescue Police leader showed up and began to lecture them. He said, "Your job is to protect with manly strength, but you're all so distracted with having a blind date with a cheerleader you forgot what matters! We're going to have a three-day ‘Manliness Bootcamp’ starting today!"
But I saw it. In his hands, I saw their leader clutching polaroids of Space Cheerleaders right behind his back…
Second Part [Translator’s note: Just as a warning, in the original text the cheerleaders are more openly homophobic and call the Space Police “h*mos.” We tried our best to soften the text.]
During an undercover inspection of  "Go-Go Cheerleaders!" I hid in the locker room to uncover what was up with the cheerleaders. I thought, "I'm probably going to hear gossip about how to treat damaged hair and deal with men." Turns out, I was half right.
They all started talking about the time they had a blind date with the Rescue Police. They said, "Were those rescue guys way too macho for you, too?"
"Totally. But that's not the only kinda "macho" I'd call them."
"It felt like a gay sports club, hehe."
"I was about to to flip when one of them chanted 'Ooh! Haa!"
"Yeah, that was super annoying."
"I thought you said the third guy, [redacted], was nice."
"It's 'cause [redacted] said he liked beautiful ladies, isn't it?"
"Nah, I said the fourth guy was the one for me."
"Really?"
"Yeah, but third guy seemed like the only one not batting for the other team."
"That's too bad. But why didn't you ask the third guy, [redacted] out?"
At that point, I heard a loud bang! It seemed like someone (another cheerleader?) came in. I could feel the tension in the air. I didn't know what happened to them after that. I couldn't get out of the room, so I put on some earplugs and hid in the locker for three hours. The adult world is scary, isn't it?

Ulala’s Hearts: 13 Detecting a lot of cheerleaders… This route's tough when it comes to rescuing everyone, especially if you don't have the tune well memorized. You'll need to drill the input timings into your head. Once the cheerleaders are rescued, there's a secret input right at the "Yeah!" as per usual…  Looks like there are even more secret inputs awaiting you after that. Even more than the Rescue Police’s.

p. 89 President Peace on: Space Michael, Behind the Scenes
A youthful dynamic singer and dancer. A talented director of stage shows, movies, and other forms of entertainment. Space Michael is truly an inimitable superstar that's transcended the limits of ordinary people. I first saw his actual face three years ago, in 2496, at the Space Woodstock's backstage during the Space National Holiday. I noticed that Michael had a calming aura around him. He was very kind and hospitable to the all people that were invited. "My purpose and goal in life is to give happiness to people," is what I said to him.
When I told him that, he told me a story in return (he was still surprisingly friendly despite having recently lost money). "You may not believe me when I say this, young man, but this happened around 500 years ago (laugh). Anyway, about 500 years ago, I was allowed to play a game that was just three weeks away from completion. I remember it well, because that was a rarity to do in itself. The game was so mesmerizing, that I asked, out of the blue, if I could be in it. The producer of the game said apologetically, 'I'm afraid we wouldn't have that much time. We could give you a small role, if that's okay?' I replied, 'Of course, I'd be happy to!' Because I really loved that game! You know what I mean?"
Michael turned his gaze to the ground as if I'd laugh at him for acting like a mischievous child. A person living for over 500 years? That's impossible! But there was something in Michael's modest smile that made me think that he'd be a person capable of doing that.

71 Secrets of Big Sister Pine: Two or Three Things I Know About Pine's Character by Texas
On the Contrary Piney? Well, you'd think she'd be stricter than me, right? Completely untrue. She's more loyal than strict. Her bark is worse than her bite, tends to show her merciful side to even those disrupting the law. The whole thing has her torn. Mhm, that’s why she puts on a tough front, yet when push comes to shove, she's surprisingly soft, unlike me. Others say I have easy-going vibes, but don’t listen to them. I’ll make people follow the law without question. Piney is the type to convince people to follow the law.
Bum ba-da-bum-bum! Oh, the drums? Piney's far more skilled at them than me, don't you agree? I prefer being a bassist. Hmhm. Piney says she started playing the drums after she saw a 500-year old foreign drumming movie. I think it was around space elementary school, when the urge to drum was so powerful that we made a drum set with empty food cans and a splitter. Then she started listening to percussion groups like Space Samul Nori and Space Neubauten and kept improving from there.
Favorite Food Ah, cooking’s a challenge for her, but she isn't terrible at it. I'm not that great at it either, haha. On Space Thanksgiving, I ask her to come and help me with the hard stuff: cooking the turkey, hehe. Piney’s favorite food is… well, pretty much everything, but especially space kolo! It's kinda like space croquettes, I guess. She may not be a great cook but she sure is a picky; she gets upset if the potatoes are space kita akari ones. She's usually so sophisticated  and elegant, so concerned with upholding the law. But with space kolo, she gets to be selfish.
Sexiness "Has your sister been dealing with… ever since kindergarten…?" Is this a talk show now? You wanna know about that?" Hmm. Well, I wasn’t as friendly as I am now, back then I was a lil' ball of aggression, but Piney was pretty nice. She was real ladylike. All the little brats were heads over heels for her. But she's hopelessly awkward with men, so she still lives with me even at 27 years old. Piney, if you’re reading this, I’ll make you some space kolo today. Hurry up and come home.
[Translator’s note: Texas call Pine “Pine-chan” in Japanese. They mention the movie by name but I’d rather not say it. The word used here for “Thanksgiving” refers to the American holiday rather than Labor Thanksgiving Day .]

72 Fuse's Broadcast Notes
Report 3 & Repeat 3 This seem be redundant at this point but anyway, these are the instructions prepared by Fuse, the director of  "Ulala's Swingin' Report Show," a special news program on Space Channel 5. Unlike Noize's Evaluation, they’re not exactly instructions but mainly explanations on the secret input locations and the modifications made for the reruns for"Ulala's Swingin' Report Show" (ex. commands for the Lap 2 that are different from that in the Lap 1). It should be noted that the timing and locations of the secret inputs are exactly the same between the main (Lap 1) and rerun broadcasts (Lap 2).
The Hidden Inputs
[1] When Pudding Appears Report 3 doesn’t kick off with the usual “Jan! Jan! Jaaan!” This time Pudding zooms by, centershot, shouting "the scoop is mine," the first secret input is right on the “mine!” Or you can time your button presses to the BGM’s four-beat pattern if that’s easier.
[Her voice is a lil' hard hear over the drums. If you can't rely on her, try relying on the beat and tapping to that four-beat rhythm!]
[2] When Pudding Leaves If you got the beat from for the first input down, you should be able to hit the second one going along with the same rhythm. If you don't trust in your ears, try pressing the button right when Pudding raises her microphone after the camera switch.
[The drums start with a "marching" rhythm, so you should be able to match the inputs by grooving to the "ton, ton, ton, ton."]

[3~6] Sexy 1 & 2 Chorus Pine starts singing once she takes stage on her ship. You should get the secrets no prob if you press down around when the chorus is just about to begin to its actual start. But be careful, the short pauses after Pine’s verses can be pretty sneaky. You can also time them to the beat! Try using a slow four-beat rhythm starting from the "peo" in "people."
[7] Yeah~! When You Shout Yeah There is also a secret input right when you and Noise land on the Playgirl and shout a big "Yeah~!" It’s right when you two shout. The BGM is the same here, so keep pressing that button if you have a handle on the four-beat rhythm.
[This is the part  where the camera switches to them after they land on the Playgirl.  Look at 'em, so cute, like children at a festival~.]
[8] After You Beat Pine This secret isn’t as telegraphed as the others so getting the timing down is a lil' tricky. Your best bet is to time it to the "ton, ton, ton, ton" beat. Keep pressing the button to that rhythm the moment after you beat Pine and the BGM changes. If you can’t get a hang of that rhythm, Ulala, try timing it about 12 seconds after Pine says “we’ll be back,” right when you jump up to hit the drums for a final time!
[Right at this scene. See that little hop Ulala does? The secret input comes right after that, so eyes open!]
[9] After the Giant Pine Missile is Fired Sometimes I wonder why Pine's ship has such an "ah~ so naughty" shape to it.  Seeing a missile flying out from the tip like that, I got such a rush that I yelled "Yee-haah!" after. After the "Chu! Chu! Chu!" is the usual Stay Tuned "pikon" secret input, be sure to press that button on cue!

74 Rebroadcast (2nd Lap) Choreography
Report 3 & Repeat 3 Listen up, Ulala. The cast may be different compared to the original broadcast, but don't let that trip you up, you still gotta do the same thing as before. Even so, enjoy meeting these new faces, the changed lyrics, and report with style!
Pudding → Padding, again, and Pine → Texas
Leaving as quickly as she appeared, looks like Padding is the one saying “the scoop is mine!” in the rerun. It’s a small cameo, it’s fine if you didn’t notice, but if you need to give this girly a shout-out, call her Padding.
Well, like I said, Padding dashes off pretty quickly. The real pain this rerun is Texas, Pine's sister. Did you know? Pine has a twin sister! Big sis Pine works for the Eastern Sector Space Police, while the lil' sis over here works for the Western Sector Space Police! They’re identical in appearance but not in personality, Texas is a formidable foe when she shoots those beams and missiles at you with the Gold n' Silver (a.k.a. the Not-Playgirl)…

Texas’s theme song starts like this:
People call me Texas (Texas!) Western Vixen Space Police. You hang in the hood (the hood) You're up to no good (no good) We'll be there to seal your fate! (Fate!)
[Lyrics by Texas, composition by Pine]
Lil’ sis Texas may have a smaller role, but you can feel her determination to crush her foes by any means. I think I like her more than her older sister~. I heard that one of our staff members left his bicycle in front of the station, and Texas confiscated it. I guess Texas is the bigger threat for normal folks. Though, they do seem to have equally sized… "bazookas." Makes sense, that’s twins for you right?
I can't forget about her back-up space drummers… well about them, mmm, uuh, I don't know what to say about them…

★ Ulala and Peace as Told by Space Michael ★
Space Michael's involvement in the incident is as follows. First, he orders the Special Report Team to be dispatched upon hearing the news of the incident. Later, when the Special Report Team was away, he was captured and forced to dance by the Rhythm Rogues' dance beams. He lastly assisted Ulala in stopping the broadcast of the "Purge TV Show." This is confirmed by the Space Channel 5 recordings and by the officer who accompanied them at the Mystery Zone and the Space Arena. There can be no doubt about it. Moreover, no new facts were presented when Space Michael was interrogated. For these reasons, we're refraining from publishing Space Michael's comments on the incident. But we would like to share some excerpts from his comments on Ulala's dance moves and President Peace's singing voice.
"Ulala's dancing has improved tremendously recently. She really has soul. It's a wonderful thing to be able to energize people though dancing. I hope she keeps dancing."
"President Peace's voice makes people feel calm. It also has a unique feeling of inclusion that comes from the heart that I really admire. I think his voice is one of Earth's greatest treasures."
In a related subject, there was a interview with Space Michael in the magazine "G.Q.C.Q Spring Quarterly Special Issue", page 49, "Space Michael's Point of View", edited by Nezumi Gray, non-fiction writer, where he speaks more about Ulala and Peace. This is presented below. On the page, Michael's comment "you dance pretty good" is analyzed with a series of photographs and his commentary.
"I've seen many stars over the years. Artists, writers, singers, dancers, performers, conductors and… it's an endless list. And many of these stars don't end their careers without a single moment of success, they live out their careers to the fullest. Except for punk rockers who burn through their brief limelight and dramatically disappear from the stage. There are only a few who can be called stars nowadays. Or rather, few outside of the entertainment industry. A good example would be President Peace, who manages to charm people despite his status; and Ulala, the Space Reporter. Ulala saved me after all (laughs). The singing and dancing energy from the both of them could burn the place to the ground and outshine the moon."

The Best Dances of Ulala Selected by Space Michael This is the dance Ulala performed in Report 1, during her face- off with Kin, Kon, and Kan. With all the rescued passengers backing her up, and the hype of encountering her first "boss battle," it’s clear she’s pumped up and dancing her heart out. When most force themselves to make precise movements, they usually end up looking stiff and poorly exaggerated. But not this funky gal. Her dance moves are always on point and on fire. It just comes naturally to her.

This dance is from Report 2, right after she rescues Mr. Nervous and President Nervous. Each step feels warm and welcoming, like a gentle hug. She is performing for the Space Primary Schoolers after all. She’s way too cool to be a babysitter, but I think if she were to host a kids' show, the rating would easily exceed 100%. She's just that heartwarming and charming. Her clothes are also on point. The Floral Suit is perfect for this dance, no notes.

[Purge T.V. Show] Plans
~The Script Left Behind by the Leader of the [Rhythm Rogues Ballistic Groove Gun] Incident ~ Purge carried out "The Whole Galaxy Dances Master Plan" quick and meticulously, with very careful preparation. Unusually, Purge prepared an agent-like sales pitch and storyboards instead of the standard broadcasting script. This isn't too shocking considering that most of the Rhythm Rogues are robots that simply require input commands. Nevertheless, the high quality of this "work" should be appreciated, despite its criminal origins. Here, we present this plan as evidence of the premeditated nature of this crime.

Genius The "Purge T.V. Show" logo is drawn in a bold, detailed manner. It seems that Purge crafted his entrance to have boundless amounts of flare. "Wah wah wah (written in an old style)." It's a rushed scribble of an enthusiastically cheering audience; it's equal parts brazen and silly.
Arena After his grand reveal, there's a cut to the arrival of Ulala and her friends, who villainously approach him. Though, they're certainly not that dramatic or malicious in the actual airings. There's text indicating that the others are treated as supporting characters. "…I understand the struggles of manga artists" is written on a page. Is Purge complaining? Or perhaps he means he respects them now.

1v1 Stage Battle Some detailed composition notes are written on the board. It is specified that Ulala should "run, then stop exactly at this moment" with "only herself on camera" to look up at Purge as viewed from below. Are these stage directions? Ulala's friends banging on the invisible wall is overemphasized compared to the actual airing for clarity.
Deluxe Guy Tension is high at this point. Purge the Great (or "Deluxe Purge” as he is called here) dramatically rises with tremendous speed. Dance Dimension X (tentatively named the "Dark Dance Dimension") is depicted with dynamic lines.

Dance Dimension X Melody Then Ulala collapses on the ground. Everything went according to Purge’s plan up to that point… The "loading screen" includes what looks to be Channel 5's logo and staff member bowing? For every step of the show’s production, Purge was thoroughly meticulous.
"What's happening? This isn't what my prompter says!" Purge cried, appalled by those who danced off script. Even prerecorded media, like films, are often subject to uncertainties on the field. Thus, it’s common practice to prepare for such uncertainties. But Purge was a naïve show director, demanding the live broadcast to stick exactly to a script. His childish naivety was on full display.
