I think religion is the worst thing ever invented. I know it's made just to stroke the male ego and nothing else. It always put down women, like being seen as just servants for men, seen as "filthy" and "sexual" that needs to be fully covered, and be seen as dogs that need to obey.
And I hate that it's forced onto kids that didn't asked to be a part of it. All it did for me was made me feel like shit and hate myself for not being "perfect" and "in God's image" or whatever the fuck. It made me hate my body, it made me feel really bad anxiety and paranoid as a little kid because of the idea of Hell, and because of this bad anxiety and paranoia of worrying about doing anything that might send me to hell, it basically ruined my life.
It's hard to completely disassociate from it when it was forced onto you from an extremely young age...

I miss when malls were still popular, or just going outside in general. I wasn't very outgoing when I was a kid, but I wish I was. Being on devices constantly is draining and detaches me from my life, and I think it's a mistake that all of society became fully dependent on it...
I also hate that places are shutting down and there's less and less places to go out to. It feels like I'm losing options on what to do. The current world sucks.
“kids spend too much time on their devices” well what else are they supposed to do? there’s no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. there’s no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and there’s no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just don’t understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people aren’t truly looking out for them.

I hate bronies. Like, really badly. I hate that they took my childhood and taint it with their fetish porn and creepy behavior. I can't search for anything MLP related that doesn't center around them or their creepy gore fanfics. Calling literal horses their "wives", and I don't need to mention that Rainbow Dash in a jar thing. Disgusting and foul. The fact that I, at some point, felt bad that I hate them is really fucking stupid.
Stuff like this always happen with every piece of media for children, and it's fucking awful. I couldn't fully escape it when I was a kid. I don't give a shit if it is your "freedom of speech" or "self expression".
My younger self was right. Bronies are creeps and perverts. I wish men don't taint everything they fucking touch.

I started to notice a lot of misogynistic things in the movies and TV shows I watch, even things that I watched as a kid. Rewatching them and noticing the subtlety of putting down anything that isn't male and jokes that are basically "women, amiright? They're so stupid and crazy". Knowing this, it's very hard to find anything that doesn't have these things.

Really upsetting to see women on here getting death and rape threats from creeps just for simply fighting for rights and single sex spaces. Like, female only spaces existing isn't going to kill anyone, but these creeps will foam at the mouth and go out of their way to tell you over and over again how evil and heartless you are for wanting to feel safe.
This is why I'm scared to really say anything online. I don't have the energy to fight these kinds of people and it's better to take action in the real world and make an actual difference anyway.

I still don't know how any part of Feminism became so focused on protecting men's feelings while putting down women. Liberal Feminism isn't even liberating or rebelling against the oppressors, it's just trying real hard to keep the status quo of men having control and power over women and everything else.
It is correct to say that Liberal Feminism is for men. It caters to men's desires and feelings while still dehumanizes women.
Liberal feminists for men’s rights: "Men can cry" "Men can wear pink" "Men can wear dresses" "Men deserve flowers" "Men don’t have to pay the bills" "Men deserve princess treatment too" "Men's mental health matters" "Men deserve better" "Feminism is about equality" 🥺
Liberal feminists for women’s rights: "Women can sell their body to make money" "Women can wear sexy revealing clothes" "Women can be housewives serving their husbands" "Women can enjoy violent sex" "Women can have casual sex with men" "Feminism is about choice" 😍

I wish there were online spaces for women to just talk about different interests. Most places are Radfem related, which isn't a bad thing at all. I just get nervous and don't join those spaces because I'm not an expert on those topics and I'm still learning.
I just wish there were also spaces exclusively for women to talk about different things and men can't just walk in and taint the whole place. Like, men already have the WHOLE internet basically, and that still isn't enough for them.

Never understood why people think being single is the worst thing ever and just wasting your life. If someone wants to be in a relationship, sure. Go ahead. Whatever. If someone wants to be single for any reason, Let them. Leave them alone. I don't understand why a women need to be with a man to be happy or they'll be a sad sack living with a bunch of cats, or lose their minds or whatever. Men aren't some miracle. More than anything, they're a curse.
Also, cats are cute. I rather live with cats. I don't know where certain people get the idea that a woman with pet cats proves that they're miserable...
(I'm watching a lot of older tv shows, and something like this always pop up in an episode one way or a other)

Newer seasons of Spongebob feels a lot like Ren and Stimpy. Noticing that makes me physically uncomfortable. I finish watching an episode and feel... I don't know... scared? Annoyed? Idk
Weird facial expressions that aren't even funny, jokes that are either dumb or gross, and the bright colors make my eyes burn. What happened to my favorite show of all time..? I know people have said the same thing a million times, but I hate it and it makes me sad. I always watch the earlier seasons because they're just perfect. Not just for nostalgia, but because they're written well(mainly seasons 1-3. 4 and 9 are good too) and the characters have more depth.
If anyone doesn't notice, I hate Ren and Stimpy. I have no idea why I even liked it as a kid... It's gross and disturbing and I have no idea how it even aired on Nickelodeon.

I love Hot Topic. I don't understand the hate for it. From people making fun of others that shop there and calling them "cringe", to the religious people screaming how "satanic" the store is, I don't care. Their stuff is really cool! I wish I shopped there when it was at its best though...

I don't get the hype for journaling. I feel more stressed and upset afterwards and I feel like it's not helping me with anything. All I write are my negative feelings because that's what I mostly feel, but reading what I written/typed makes me feel worse.
The creative side of it sounds fun, but finding ideas for pages are a pain, and the constant worry of the pages not looking and being the way I want it to puts me off from wanting to even touch my journal.

I miss when Pokémon games was fun and had anything that isn't buggy, low quality and full of shitty decisions from the developers. The only games I play on occasions are the Mystery Dungeon spin offs and that hasn't gotten a new game in ten years. Rescue Team DX doesn't count.
Popular opinion: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games are better than the mainline games. Stories are better, characters are better, gameplay is better. Everything about it is better and I enjoy recruiting different pokemon in different dungeons. Also, an unpopular opinion: Gates to Infinity is one of the better games, probably better than Super Mystery Dungeon (SMD). I just think the story is a lot better and I feel more connected to the characters, the story, and their world. Not as much for SMD, but still think the game is good.

I dont know.
If some group of women made fun of another woman just dressing a little different, I think that's dumb. If it's about general interests or venting about your problems for emotional support, I agree.
When I think of the word "gossip", the only think that comes to mind is people talking badly about someone behind their back when it's not deserved(like making fun of her looks), so sorry if that's not what you meant.
Tumblr media
You're not a dumbass if you like gossip and drama. Men created this myth so that women don't form friendships with each other, they called them stupid for talking to each other. Because if you can't gossip you won't tell your friends about how your husband treats you.
Being interested in people and social things and drama and arguments and all these things comes free with being a social species. Enjoy them all you want, it's neither stupid nor immoral.

I miss what I remembered of Tumblr back in the early 2010s. I don't exactly remember those specific blogs I bookmarked back then, but I remember Tumblr being odd and fun, and those "Fuck Yeah" blogs based on certain media.
I miss the internet when it was fun and not filled in every corner with disgusting porn and men talking about how "breedable" someone is... yuck.

Social Media
A lot of people love using social media to connect with people similar to their interests and create communities, but it's also a curse put on this world. It is often used to create drama more so in recent years as well as creating echo chambers that only make their view on the world around them more distorted. BlueSky, Gab, Twitter and even the entire "Fediverse" are perfect examples, as these places can either just report people to oblivion due to "hate speech"(which in many cases are just people saying things that other just simply don't like and not harmful), or can just remove people from communication with others. This is worse for the "Fediverse" if those said Fediverse instances are large communities and want to communicate with smaller ones. People now use social media for controlling others rather than actual connection.
People have problems having a normal conversation without resorting to spamming memes, putting people down, or heck, even straight up banning them from a platform because they don't like them.
I don't often use social media anymore and only use the internet to search for new music to listen to, or shop for things I need. I just simply quit because people are simply lost and completely brain rotted from politics, almost to the point they can't form friendships because they voted for a president they don't like or even get demonized because one just aren't into politics like others and be called selfish.
Trying to find people to befriend in a period of time where most people are lonely, is hard, as most people are now too bitter and self-centered to even listen and connect to someone without having to parrot their opinions for them to even like you. It sucks.

I sometimes worry about reblogging things related to my interests because of this, even as simple as writing about it and adding regular tags. I don't need a ton of attention from randoms getting mad about my posts and reblogs that they don't agree with.
Then again, being in fandoms in general is like walking on eggshells and worrying about saying something that is slightly different from the rest of them.
speaking from a fellow radfem nerd to other radfem nerds it's really really difficult to talk about your interests to get more radfem friends because a libfem or tras is going to stalk your account and launch a harassment campaign against you. but when you're in libfem/tras circles no one ever does that.
