Time is this weird thing people can’t buy or get back. And who you choose to spend it with is one of the most valuable things you can share with someone . Looking at this makes me realize I’ve begun going through a slow breakup... with this dear city I’ve formed my adult years in - before I begin somewhere new . Closure is a blessing. My #Apak - eldest Uncle - passed on unexpectedly a few days ago💫(I’m fine👍🏽), and it’s tough to watch my Father grapple with the time he is facing that he wished he had used . I often think of #Carl&Ellie in the intro of the movie 🎈#UP, and the dreams they kept postponing until time had passed them by. I think of this in several contexts of my life . This, was a day spent with dear friends I had not seen in some time (some a much longer time) and it’s funny how the factor of time can change how you process moments. Whether it’s a waving friend at a bus stop, an ill relative on their death bed, or the view of your horizon about to change🌅... Honor yourself and those who share your time. And remember, look up 🎈 . Impaciente

Ich bin ein Mensch, der gerne mit der Tür ins Haus fällt. Gerne mit dem Kopf durch die Wand kommen möchte. Dinge sofort perfekt fertigstellen möchte. Ein Hitzkopf, der sich gerne in Dingen verrennt. Sich zügeln muss. Sich zwingen, mal einen Schritt zurückzufahren. Einen Schritt weniger zu machen. Einen vor dem anderen. 

Unter Ansicht dessen, mag es eventuell  nicht schwer fallen zu verstehen, dass die Tatsache, mit 20 Jahren weder sexuelle, noch andere Erfahrungen, die das platonische überschreiten, durchlebt zu haben mich gelegentlich, sagen wir, klinisch abfuckt. Mich panikerfüllt zurücklässt. Mit immer wieder zirkulierenden riesigen Fragezeichen im Kopf. Wann wirst du jemanden küssen? Wann wirst du jemanden finden, der sich in dich verliebt? Wann wirst du Sex haben? Oder viel schlimmer noch: Ich ersetze das “Wann” durch ein jemals. Diese Gedanken entzünden mich. Versuchen mich in Startblöcke zu schieben. Zu einem Marathon zu animieren, Ich gegen die Zeit. Daher stoßen mir YOLO-, DAS-LEBEN-IST-KURZ-GENIEße-JEDE-SEKUNDE Parolen gerne mal sauer auf. Habe ich die gesamte Zeit bisher vertrödelt? Gelegentlich ertappe ich mich beim durchgehen alter Erinnerungen mit den Gedanken: “Das wäre alles noch wertvoller gewesen, hättest du jemanden gehabt.” Jepp. Autsch. Not good.

Jedoch ist das alles für mich nichts neues. Ich weiß, dass ich meinen eigenen Weg gehe. Der anders verläuft. Mittlerweile hab ich mir ein mentales Bungeeseil angeeignet, dass meinen Kopf zurückholt, wenn er sich vorschnell in Gedanken stürzt. Ich reflektiere die Dinge, die ich denke. 

Heute kam mir ein weiterer wichtiger erwähnenswerter Gedanke: Es ist gut, dass es so ist, wie es ist. Wenn ich überlege, wer die früheren Kandidaten meiner Verehrung waren, bin ich froh, dass es nicht klappte. Genauso weiß ich auch schon eine ganze Weile, dass es kein schlechtes Zeichen ist, dass ich nicht mit jedem potentiellen Partner zusammenkommen kann. Ich bin besonders und habe auch meine Ansprüche, wie ich behandelt werden möchte.Wie dem auch sei: Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit extreme Probleme mit mir selbst. Plus Depression. Als ich vorhin “Someone Like You” von Adele hörte (I know super kitschig), wurde mir klar, dass eine Trennung und der damit verbunden “Heartbreak” “Re fuerte” sein kann. Wenn ich auf meinen psychisch-emotionalen Zustand bis zu meinem 19. Lebensjahr zurückblicke, wird mir bei dem Gedanken eines gebrochenen Herzens in Verbindung mit meinen generellen Problemen mehr als mulmig. Eine Trennung ist generell heavy. Das wäre sie bei mir auch, so emotional und stark fühlend wie ich bin.

Doch heute habe ich fast 2 Jahre Therapie, zahlreiche Bücher und Lebenserfahrung hinter mir, die mich mich besser kennen, reflektieren und behandeln lernen ließen. Ich bin emotional so stark wie nie zuvor. Und in der Lage mich gut zu behandeln. Und allein zu sein. Mir selbst genug zu sein. Und das mentale Bungeeseil hab ich auch. *mentales Bungeeseil* uzuzuzuz.

Wie Derrida in seiner Déconstruction schon erwähnte, man sollte nicht generell einen Sachverhalt über einen anderen stellen. In diesem Fall nicht in einer Beziehung über Single. Auch wenn es gelegentlich schwer ist, bedeutet es nicht, dass es nicht auch seine Vorzüge hat, dass ich bisher keine weiterführenden Erfahrungen hatte.

Auf mein mentales Bungeeseil, die coolste Metapher, die mir bisher bezogen auf meinen sozio-emotionalen Zustand einfiel.
