i think that quote isn’t just pessimistic, it’s.. it makes me think of an upset dreamer: things he was looking up to suddenly became these everyday things that melt away too fast & help with every day tasks?? and i think you’re that frustrated dreamer too, as a writer? idk man im rambling this probably makes no sense
