I’m Jai Ashok Mahtani, South Africa. Here I’m sharing with you my most favourite “10 Best Surf Spots in the World”.  Surfing for me is a way to be free. These ten spots are literally Adventurous, once in a life at least visit one of them. Surfing is addictive, once you start you can't stop.

My Best Ten surf spots in the world -

Ulu watu, Bali

Uluwatu is a spot on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, Indonesia. Após conquistar mais uma etapa do Circuito Mundial de Surfe o brasileiro Gabriel Medina publicou em suas redes sociais neste domingo (22) uma mensagem de agradecimento: “Sem palavras, só agradecer”.

Medina venceu pela segunda vez consecutiva a etapa disputada no Surf Ranch, a piscina de ondas idealizada pelo surfista norte-americano Kelly Slater, que fica na cidade de Lemoore, na Califórnia.

Na final Medina encarou outros sete surfistas, entre eles outros dois brasileiros: Filipe Toledo, que terminou em segundo, e Yago Dora, que ficou em sexto.

Liderança no circuito mundial

Com a vitória na etapa de piscina de ondas Medina assumiu a liderança no Circuito Mundial, à frente de Filipe Toledo, o segundo, e Jordy Smith (África do Sul), o terceiro. Antes deste triunfo Medina já havia vencido a etapa de Jeffreys Bay, na África do Sul, e foi vice em Teahupoʻo, no Tahiti.

Disputa feminina

Já entre as mulheres a vitória ficou com a norte-americana Lakey Peterson. As brasileiras Tatiana Weston-Webb e Silvana Lima terminaram, respectivamente, na quinta e nona posição.

The board- 6'5" paddled in with a nice glide and setup. When the wave went vertical it engaged, locked in, dropped in and held the line and engaged the wave. So critical here to have a board that can hold in these conditions and this type of wave - Nailed it. Speed and positioning are critical factors here and the board was able to stall, wait for it to go ballistic, then fire forward and get you to where you had to be, than have the power to pull you out and get you safe.
