TechKnowHow, a leader in tech-focused classes for SF Bay Area students, is looking for individuals to teach coding classes. Camps range from game design with Scratch for students, ages 7-10, to Python and Java programming for ages 10-15.We’ll train you on how to teach the curriculum, lead team-building activities, and manage the classroom. If you enjoy both tech and kids, you will have a special and rewarding experience as you teach young people how to use technology and code to create awesome projects.We are seeking Lead and Assistant Teachers for the following locations. Candidates must be available to teach at least 4 weeks in any of these areas and online:- Area 1: San Francisco- Area 2: Campbell, Cupertino, San Jose- Area 3: Piedmont, Berkeley, Oakland- Area 4: Peninsula (Burlingame, San Mateo, Palo Alto)- Area 5: Fremont and/or PleasantonNo housing is provided. TechKnowHow, a leader in tech-focused classes for SF Bay Area students, is looking for individuals to enthusiastically engage with our teaching staff, students and parents this summer.As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:* Greeting parents and answering questions – * Assisting and advising teachers and students in the classroom * Assisting with recess supervision * Being in the classroom when teachers take breaks * Assisting teachers with handling of student behavior and other issues * Assisting with supply needs – calling in any need for extra items *Communicating with a corporate officer about camp progress and any issuesWe’ll train you on how to manage a site as well as the summer curriculum.
