I.... Really don't understand the gamer stance of... Making their setup look good and showing it off
#miranda talking shit#If you have a nice setup... Cool. Im also very curious how much you need to do to keep it clean and nice#I can kinda see having a nice setup being ... Cool but my mind never get over the work to KEEP it nice plus the cost to make it look nice#Its a meme that guys have no interior design care and have their places bare but surprisingly a lot of them have a nice pc setup?#Meanwhile i have.... A giant desk.... With two shelfs plus side shelfs for speakers#All i got on it is my two screens... A cup with pens + a notepad... And gum bag+lollipop bag#Thats my set up situation. Plus an cheap plastic keyboard + mouse/headphones midrange priced who are 6 yrs old now#Top that off with i have my desk in a small clotheschamber. The whole room is empty except my pc desk#My view of everything i have to maintain irl is 9/10 times: practicality over looks#Thats why i have two glas cabinets crammed with every books/sentimental thing. Everything i know ill need and use more often i also keep out in the open#But since i have so little stuff to begin with... My spaces never get too chaotic#I just see pc setups and its like... Yeah ok thats neat with the lights and whatever but... Is the cost of it lookin nice enough ?#Obviously im not hating on anyone who does have it like that. Its cool#Just me and my practical brain can never see the appeal. I'd take my ugly but practical setup over the pretty ones (at least if i have to#Maintain them/pay for them). Unless one is a streamer or otherwise have their things on display i can't understand it#Meanwhile half my guy friends have more than once discussed their 'setups' and shared pictures and wanted me to#And I'm like... Fellas.... I play games on here and as long as i can do that. Thats all i care for
