tyler finally managed to get the burger buns to josh in time for the clancy release day bbq party😅🍔
i’ve been a fan of twenty one pilots for nearly a decade now, experienced 3 album releases, seen them 3 times in concert and not once have they disappointed - lets just say the new album clancy is no exception! 💛
The metaphor in the mv about their hard work being immediately judged as a hit or a miss 😭 Josh's sad face at the end 😭 Tyler singing about not wanting to burden Jenna with his anxiety 😭 The irony that some 'fans' are already calling the song a skip 😭 The album is dropping tomorrow and I don't know if it'll be happy or sad 😭
So like. Is it just me or does that ending tell you everything you need to know about Tyler and Josh and how they feel about their art? Tyler walking away first looking like he expected to fail all along and Josh remaining frozen and confused over why it didn’t work?
Hold on- This is about making some art, in this case music, that you put so much effort into, you've worked so hard on it and you're proud of it but then you show it to the bosses and they'd be like 'It's a miss, we don't like this and we think people will not like it too' and that's literally what singles are made for- atracting people to want to listen to the rest of the album. Ive literally heard some people complain that Tyler always includes a 'love song' for his wife that doesn't go with the rest. So what if Jenna's version implies making art for those who will appreciate it, for those who consider that you worked hard on it and you should do things with passion and love in mind, not reputation and profit? I totally think we're getting another music video for The Craving and I am so hopefull that it will feature Jenna and possibly even Debbie because it was about Josh working on the art too.
