Yeo Jingoo for Elle Korea 2017

Finished: *Top Management - This was a fun comedy about a trainee who can see the future but can't stop her debut from being ruined by the tragic debut of a male idol group. A few years later, she ends up as their manager when they try to make a comeback with a new member, played by Ahn Hyo Seop. It did a great job embracing yet satirizing idol culture. Cha Eun Woo is 2ML here. The romances were cute and light. The drama's open ending didn't bother me because I felt I had enough to envision where they all ended up in their careers and in love. It's only 8 hours long and was supposed to have a second season. Instead, it became the first and last YouTube Original kdrama.

Currently Watching: *Lovely Runner - I was laughing and smiling so much. It continues to be fantastic. While I don't like how self-sacrificing the FL is, the ML is just as self-sacrificing so I won't hold it against her.

*The Midnight Romance in Hagwon - My favorite part is definitely the sparing of the leads as their relationship begins to alter but I'm lowkey interested in the politics of the school system.

*Chief Detective 1958 - I'm behind on this show but I've enjoyed what I've seen so far.

*The Crowned Clown - Yeo Jin Goo is fantastic as the earnest clown and the cruel king! I can hardly believe they are played by the same actor. I love watching the clown king try to make the world a better place and fall in love. But watching the cruel king is hard, I have to prepare myself. There's been alot going on personally so I had to put this down to watch fluffier stuff. I'm looking forward to picking it back up again soon.

crowned clown final episode: (nonspecific spoilers)

have just finished the crowned clown and did you know it's possible to completely lose your audience by making a terrible decision halfway through the very final episode

like this is already a show where we consistently were like "okay the production and performances are bringing it but some of the decisions do Not Seem Logical or Sensible" and then you just completely fall flat on the LAST EPISODE. show you had ONE JOB and you WHIFFED IT!! and now i'm MAD and i'm bringing that energy to TUMBLR

that said i will probably look up some BEST BLORBO gifsets if i can (the queen dowager, the human calculator, this is a two-blorbo show) and like. i do appreciate the compelling plot narrative of the secretary and the titular crowned clown!!!

I've been looking and I can't find any gifs of this scene from The Crowned Clown... the grief I feel is truly... deep.
