Coming as someone who was in both the mcyt(mainly dteam) fandom and the hazbin hotel/helluva boss fandom, dream and vivziepop are eerily similar in how cult-like and defensive their fanbases are
#And im not just saying it without basis#I used to be both a huge fan and defender of them so ive seen how they work#They both are criticized for lots of really bad stuff#To the point where the fans basically break and become Obsessed with defending them#The fans see others in a with me or against me mindset#The fanbase is Highly notorious for being really toxic#They both have been accused of abusing others but then claiming they were the victim#If anyone comes out with evidence of them being terrible theyre met with immediate disdain and mockery#Dream/Vivziepop could never be bad in their respective fanbases eyes it ALWAYS has to be another person#Whether its someone who dream was friends with for YEARS or a worker who has been employed by vivzie#Its...kinda scary#a-maize-ing post
