Happy Overseer October. I'm planning on starting a thing on Youtube where I just make random posts on my OC throughout the month. Started just doing community posts on Youtube, so I decided to do the same thing here.

So don't mind the possible reposting along the way, but I want to spend as many days this month as possible just blabbing about my OCs so even though mostly all of this will be repeat art, I'll have new things to talk about along the way...

This is a drawing of one of the party members, Sole, comforting the Sol Spirits of each element.

Hoping to get around to going into more details of the party characters and Sol Spirits in future shorts, but I'll share a little more detail now. Sol Spirits are a series of creatures that the party collects throughout the adventure, with each one here focusing on a different one of the four main elements in the world. They tend to bond with Mentalist, the wielders of elemental powers in this world, rather than merely being collected and used for stat building.

You see it a lot in the beginning of the adventure as Sol Spirits the party begins with or encounter early on in the game often have story beats that tie into their encounters with the main party. Such as the starting fire Spirit, Charcoal essentially being a long-time pet of one of the main characters, or how many early game spirits are directly saved from the main villain group. Tons of brainstorming went into conceptualizing the designs for each one, but perhaps that's a story I'll go more into another time.
