I’ve now had two serendipitous really lovely chance encounters with a stranger the last two times I was in London where I ended up sitting next to someone and then having a great chat with them for like an hour and it was just so nice and really gave me a high and I think this is my sign to start going on dates

#Last time I sold my spare theatre ticket to someone on twitter #And then ended up talking to him the whole time before the show and then throughout the whole interval #And after the show a bit too and it was just really nice and cool #Then today I got seated next to someone in a restaurant because we were both solo diners #And we ended up talking throughout the whole meal #And the owner was chatting to us too because it was this really cool friendly place #The owner’s wife is Irish so when I said I was from cork he was immediately like oh the real capital people’s republic of cork #But I really enjoyed my breakfast and conversation with 6’8 Dutch guy who’s name I didn’t get properly #He said it but because it’s something I don’t know how to spell it just fell out of my head immediately #But this is what dates are like just a little more planned an intentional #But it’s still talking with strangers which seems to give me a buzz
