I just read this poem by Rick Barot and I want to make Wooden Overcoats fans read these lines:

I know the difference doesn’t matter, except in poetry, where a coffin is just another coffin until someone at a funeral calls it a wooden overcoat, an image so heavy and warm at the same time that you forget it’s about death.

#Wooden Overcoats #'an image so heavy and warm at the same time that you forget its about death'...!!!#Feels like Something in relation to the show even if I can't really articulate what #Maybe somebody else can #I'm turning that phrase over and over in my mind anyhow #The rest of the poem is good but not necessarily relevant to WO #Except perhaps the bit about the beauty of a coffin as a reminder of how loved the deceased was #Anyway I do think Wooden Overcoats is an excellent title for the show #because it's a phrase about coffins and therefore about death #but it's also so mundane and silly #the empty man posteth
