Am Donnerstag, 26. Oktober bringt das international bekannte, französische New-Reggae Duo Jahneration ihre dynamische, tanzbare Musik in den KuBa Jena. Jamaikanische Vibes garantiert! Nachdem sie bereits neun Deutschland-Konzerte in 2023 gespielt haben und unter anderem im Indra-Club in Hamburg, im Hot Jazz Club Münster und im LUX Hannover einem begeisterten Publikum ihre unnachahmliche Show geboten haben, kommen sie nun Ende Oktober nach Jena. Reggae, Electro, Dub und Hiphop in einzigartiger Symbiose: Jahneration begeistern immer mehr Fans weltweit Seit 2009 mischt das französische Singjay-Duo Théo und Ogach als Jahneration die Reggae-Szene auf. Volksmusik im Fraunhofertheater: Spielplan ist nicht die alte betuliche und oft reaktionäre Heimat-Tümelei, sondern die bodenständige, aufmüpfige und selbstorganisierte Volks-Kultur, die sich international kulturell verständigen kann, wo bayrische Melodien auf Zulu-Rhythmen abfahren können, wie auch Über Jodeln beim Wirt – Jodeln beim Wirt am 13.2. RAPBEAT 2022 Takes Over Seoul Land

The notorious South Korean music festival, RAPBEAT, is back and bigger than ever! On September 3rd and 4th, musicians from diverse genres will hit the stage at Seoul Land for the two-day festival.

What began in 2014 originally as the RAPBEAT SHOW, the festival has garnered much attention for its success in musicality by bridging the gap between local and international talent for concert attendees. Familiar faces like- Beenzino, DPR LIVE, pH-1, and Zion.T– to list a few- have all graced the stage.

This year’s first line-up features 59 local and international musicians. Aminé, a prominent and outspoken rapper who’s known for hits like, “Caroline” and “Compensating” will be performing alongside Grammy Award winner and R&B vocalist Lucky Daye. Whereas local artists like NELL, a South Korean modern rock band and alternative/indie band SE SO NEON will take the stage as well. Other artists like Loco, BLOO, Dvwn, and many other RAPBEAT alumni will also grace the stage.

In the year 2020, RAPBEAT was expected to hold its first-ever two-day festival, but due to social distancing regulations, the event had to take place as an untact concert, RAPBEAT FESTIVAL [RE: MOVE]. The festival organizer, CULTURE THINK stated, “with the gradual relaxation of local distancing regulations throughout the year, we will once again speed up to prepare to have the audience’s heat and cheer fill up the whole venue again”.
