We have Sakura tomatoes growing on our Tower Gardens! 🍅🌿This tomato variety is sweet like candy and the skin is soft.
Pruning your tomatoes and removing the ‘suckers’ can result in superior tasting tomatoes! Also, it is much easier to manage the plant itself. This technique is ideal for growing tomatoes on a Tower Garden!

Acyl sugars, terpenoids, and flavonoids - these are released by the tiny hairs on the tomato plants as you handle them, giving you a literal green thumb and then some. I learned this from Lynn Byczynski in an article she wrote for Growing for Market dot com. FYI! Here's my hand after pruning 50 of my plants. #tomatopruning #tomatohands #solanumlycopersicum #acylsugars #flavanoids #terpenoids (at Newtown Square, Pennsylvania)
