(once for fc and once for name), but one thing that never changes is her quick replies and fun muses. i’m also kicking myself rn bc i deleted part of what i originally write for her but i'mma still rewrite tho. okay this video was so so good, I loved the editing like with the arrows on the bench ha! this was so fun and I loved how you showed the like... whole narrative!! I also thought the various angles/settings/lighting colours really kept the video consistently super visually entertaining... this was my second favourite but I feel like if the competition wasn't so strong it would've been an amazing winner

Holy crap! This was so fun! I loved all of the text you added to give it a little spice. I could tell that you and your friends had a blast making this. I don't know who you are, but this video totally made me want to be friends with you! The only areas it lacked were precision with lip syncing and some minor editing things (but lets be real, this was dope).

Creativity - 8 While this is a Super basic song to use for a music video challenge, I don't feel like I've ever seen it used like this before, telling the story using a pair of friends, that was super cute. I loved the little bits where you're rocking on "stage" with your boyfriend, that was super cute!!! Effort - 10 This music vide had so much attention to detail, between the little disclaimers, MTV logos, and the storytelling as a whole. The next time you do a video pay attention to the lighting though! There were some points where the crazy color lights were casting a strange shadow on one half of your face that didn't look super intentional. Overall - 10 This music video had me laying in bed CACKLING the whole time, it had the perfect blend of sophistication and stoopid that just made for one of the most enjoyable music videos I've ever seen done. Amazing job.

OKAY WHAT THE FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. With all the videos in this community this one totally stands out. It is clear you had fun with this but also how bad you wanted this immunity, clean editing, watching a story play out before our eyes just like a real music video, and also we are at a rave! If I have one complaint its that for a lot of the song you don't really match up with the song when you are lip-synching, and in most cases that would be backbreaking but when you pull something out like THIS, it only hurts you slightly in my eyes. AMAZING JOB!

This was such a cute video. I loved the greenscreen and all the parts with your cat in it. I think that it just got a little boring/repetitive toward the middle and I lost interest. I think it might have been a song choice issue, but your lip sync was on point.

Creativity - 9 This is a super basic song, but the concept was really funny, I really appreciated that the song wasn't just about love, but about immunity. Effort - 8 Girl you involved you cat, idk how you did it, but you did. That cat deserves an EMMY baby. Anyways, the effort was very obvious with the full grenscreen moments to the contextual scene changes. Good shit b. Overall - 8 The music video's concept really carried the entertaintment portion, I feel like it was very one note in its humor, and the song choice probably contributed to that a lot. Slower songs really need a LOT to make it work in context to a music video challenge.

Miss Rachael! What a great take on this challenge. So many people just lip sync the house down, but you thought about the lyrics and created something really interesting. I think there are a few areas where I wanted more, but I was fully entertained the whole time. Danny Devito deserves love too!! Also, you looked like you had so much fun making this! Great job.

Creativity - 8 The dancing / scenes you used were very expected from that song, there's almost only one way to make a creative statement with that song choice. And you did it. Using a celebrity as your lover was the icing on the cake for the creativity portion. Effort - 10 I absolutely loved you getting your friends involved, it was so fun to see your "Cheerleading" friend in the music video. I also loved the editing, it probably would have flowed a bit better had the editing matched the scenes you filmed, like the change in car color, but you can't always control that. Also, messaging survivor alumni for shoutout vids for free instead of using Cameo is amazing, good job!! Overall - 9 I loooved the video, and the ode to Danny Devito, I thought it was hilarious, and iconic, in the most ironic way possible. Great job Rachael!!

Creativity - 7 C'mon brooklyn hytes!! I see your inspirations, and I see how it all accumulated. The song choice is very recent, which unfortunately makes it expected. I wish this could have been done in multiple takes, with scene / wardrobe changes etc. Effort - 6 The effort value comes in play with your original choreography. However, the lack of editing puts you beneath most of the other videos, because the low quality audio. Overall - 7 I feel like this music video was very average, I really liked the dancing, and I could see how much fun you were having with it, which makes me want to have fun and go dancing with you, but when it stacks up next to the other music videos, this is the score you earned.

Episode 7: “The coin flip gods decided Xander would be leaving us tonight”- Chloe

jeezzzzzz this round is fucking frustrating. so last minute last round my alliance flipped to keaton which was WONDERFUL!!! I was having a hard time talking to him and I'm glad it's Vi and Xander still here. the concering thing tho is someone told vi to do keaton so like.....someone tryna scoop up that good good number huh? this auction though....FUCK THIS. so it started off fine. nobody snatched the first thing bc it was useless. but then the second item hehe I grabbed it bc I wanted to throw to keep ashley safe + wanted to know what it was. so i was like ok cool love it. but then for some reason another item got posted after the time the post said the challenge would be running.....which was not fair flkjfl and i didnt see it cause i was like cool i can sleep now :) and then it's the fuckin most powerful thing in the game :)))) love that for me lol. and someone on that tribe fucked it up. i literally would've fuckin spent all the money for it if I'd known the auction was gonna go past the time the hosts said rip so that threw a wrench in everything and now i am a sad sad cowboy :'( next day i snatched the first item to end the auction so that the power hungry snakes in my alliance didnt get all the good stuff. so even tho i got nothing of value, i DID get assurance that only one thing is out there that I need to be worried about. :))) hehe :))) and it was REALLY EASY to play off like xander took them both tbh. he was typing in the chat the whole time lmao. the only problem is that chloe eve and isaac are actually smart and they might know it was me but like i rlly put in that fake nancy drew work and was like HELLO DID U BUY THOSE THINGS ? I even asked xander if he got either of the items hehe. im just sittin here with my two lame-ass packages <333333 but i have a really bad feeling about the other tribe. Ashley was on a work trip all week and I know her and her fuckery and her inability to talk to boring men and her tribe has way way too many of them. jared/sammy have the power on that tribe if they scoop dylan and goat nick or bro down with aidan. so it's bad news I think. I'm gonna be pissed at them if they get her out (and i swear to god if jared is doing it just to break up me and her so I'm closer to him he has another thing coming!!!!!!!!! :) ) i wanted to be loyal to jared and ashley, but if he gets her out before I even have a chance to play with her, im gonna be fuckin bitter!!!!!!!! and who knows what I'll do then :)

Well rip us again. I’m slightly screwed? Maybe. I did get 2nd highest score so hopefully the others keep that in consideration considering Owen, Xander and eve got lower than 50 points. I’m pissed Bc Chloe and I both tried hard to carry the team. We were 200 points under. That’s more than either one of us got. Every one else didnt do an entire section. One of them only did a couple pictures, another only did a couple videos. Rip I want to die.

BIIIIITCH. Shit has hit the fan and I finally feel like we're playing a game here. Last tribal was intense but it brought back that feeling as to why I play these things so I was kind of into it. Overall the scrambling in the last few hours showed a lot of people's hand and I think that was one valuable thing that came out of the last vote out (in addition to Sammy's vote out). Apparently the alleged vote was Ashley, which Jared told me rather late, and I didn't feel clued in on that AND I was a fan of Ashley. She was one of the only people here from my second tribe and she talked to me more than a majority of the tribe making me realize that the Malakoff OGs might have formed a voting block - Pat might possibly be involved. Apparently it was a push on behalf of Pat but I did use my vote steal and try to push things in order to save Ashley and push it onto another target. She really wanted Jared but I do feel like I have a stronger relationship with him and the ability to reconcile things further which is why I tried to deviate the target to Sammy. Plus in all of the ambiguity and the fact that my name was going around (as Ashley as a decoy to save herself *insert eye roll*) I felt the need to use the vote steal I secured on the rails. Regardless of how things played out at the end of the day I had no idea what the chaotic twink [Dylan] was going to do and in the event of a 3-3-1 tie I doubt Jared was saving me over Sammy. Weren't they butt buddies in a Tumblr Survivor or something? Like it just wasn't realistic... and I don't feel like I leveraged it poorly at all. Better than going home with something in my pocket like last time. Plus the studio art major's reaction in their exit interview only helped prove my point that they were the best person to go. Plus I felt as if the studio art major in question has the type of fun but lowkey personality that allows people to go deep and as such an extroverted loud ass bitch those players tend to be the ones on my radar. We worked hard, we persevered and won immunity. Pat worked his ass off in the fucking challenge because he knew he made a fucking mistake writing my name down but he's trying to be cordial. Honestly I think a lot of people are biding their time until merge and I have a sneaking suspicion I might be a person of interest when this merge comes. WHY? Well that challenge was CLEARLY thrown and the people who seemed to be left out of the loop were the ones from my original tribe. I'm pretty sure that's a fucking act of war in Ancient Greece. Nick (my number one ally atm I love you Nick) pointed that shit out immediately and made me run to check the results which left me shook. I tried to bring it up to Jared who played it off... another kind of red flag. My priority right now is to strengthen relationships heading into a potential merge and making sure they're on good footing with me even though the last thing that's happening is a loyal Malakoff 3.0. I'm not even going to delude myself with the fucking thought. Despite having Nick and I guess Ashley, I do feel very alone in this game. Most games I succeed in I have a partner in crime so I'm going to adapt and see how I can take on the merge. I really want Nick to know I trust him as much as I do and I hope that whoever survives of Chloe and Vi is excited to see us. That's if the merge is next and you're not playing with us... But I also hope that both Chloe and Vi survive this round but the break up of the challenge doesn't look good. Is there a chance they just fucking suck?

Being back at tribal is fucking hell. At this point just give us merge I stg id be more likely to be immune then. Honestly it feels like most of my tribe put ZERO FUCKING EFFORT into this challenge and I’m beyond angry about it they’re all fucking bastards and I’ll vote every single one of them out for doing this to me.

Thoughts on being at tribal - the coin flippers are staying strong and yet again we flipped a coin to see who goes home between Vi and Xander. This time there’s no Keaton to fuck things around so I’m hoping it stays this straight forward and there’s no genuine last minute scrambles. I don’t think anyone from the group has told Vi or Xander yet who the vote is but the coin flip gods decided Xander would be leaving us tonight. I just wanna fucking sleep. So yea no valid reason for voting Xander tonight other than it was down to a coin flip. Either way I’d be voting Xander and Vi out at merge anyway.

Last round was pretty wild. I really did NOT want Sammy to go but unfortunately my hands were tied and he was with jared and pat. I kind of pushed for jared last round a little too much and Aidans ass told jared and he confronted me about it. I think i did a pretty good job at explaining why and basically it was like we both kind of went for eachother last round but now no one will think we are working together. My hope is that aidan and nick will be loyal and continue to work with me but i have a feeling jared is stilll trying to work on aidan and aidans ass is falling for it. Merge is probably coming up and im a little scared about that but if nick and aidan dont flop I think we can make it far.

So last round I played like peepee poopoo I should've just listened to Sammy like I told myself I would at the beginning of the round and voted Aidan... but the second I detect any shadiness even in a F2 or F3 person that's when the meltdown comes... it was like the Bryce situation all over again Not to mention Aidan two-timed me! But luckily it is still early enough in the game to recover from this, and I still have the high noon... I just need to hang onto that no matter what. So this round I centered back in on my round one gameplan, Aidan lost my trust and Dylan earned his 3rd strike with me by not having my back in the tribe chat. I've been bonding with NickG, and I made a deal with Ashley so I'm hoping that new doors will open for me on this tribe. With that being said, we won the challenge and honestly I couldn't care less about a merge any more, the farther away it is the better to be honest- I can have a 50/50 shot at making it one round further every time with tribal immunity. Another note, non-zero odds that Owen threw the challenge for me? We'll see.

Winning this immunity challenge is a double-edged sword. I'm immune at what will probably be a chaotic joint tribal, and LIKELY going to be making it to the merge soon. At least I hope so. But there's two major drawbacks, and I want to talk about why I'm worried about each of them.

Number one is obvious, I can't socialize with the 4 Kato members that will be at this vote. They'll be meeting 4 more original Takagi members and potentially bonding with them while I'm sitting here in what is basically exile. I need to pay even more attention to my first impressions because these players are definitely going to have some kind of deal going before I show up.

The second is just as important. i won't be at this tribal council, meaning I can potentially lose an ally here without having any ability to change plans for the better. If Karth or Ally get voted out here, my game takes a huge hit. A hit that I might have been able to prevent if I was there with Jess and Alyssa.

But, I'm gonna enjoy this safety while it lasts. I want my last few moments away from the merge to be stress free, since I know things are really going to pick up once every piece is on the board.

i'm going to tribal for the second time this game, and it's a joint tribal. rip. i am riddled with fear and stress.

i don't think i should be targeted. i believe i've maintained a solid social game and appear as a benefit to most people. i trust karthik/tim enough to not vote me, and i think i've developed somewhat of a grounding with jake/miguel. though ally/stephen/luke may identify me as a physical threat, i think ally knows keeping me is best purely for a shield purpose.

however, there is that little voice in the back of your head. the one that says "you're a physical/social threat!" and "it's the (probable) last vote for premerge, why wouldn't they take out a threat???" - though i disagree with this logic in terms of how i feel/play orgs, you can never know until it's too late. personally, i'd be taking out a goat or someone who is playing a similar game as you. if you're a shield, take out a shield. if you're UTR social, take out another person who is UTR and social. you want to be the BEST at your role, and i don't think anyone is as big of a shield as me (atm, of course). maybe i'm overhyping my game (and p.s., in no way am i saying i'm playing a good game, i just mean physically im pretty dominant).

jake mentioned stephen being an endgame threat due to his social game and likeability. he (stephen) is someone i wouldn't mind taking out. i have no connection with him, and he has had a tendency to flip on alliances (confirmed by jake/miguel/ally; the TJ vote). it just seems too obvious.

as for my idol, i'm not sure. if the person i vote (stephen, whoever.) is idolled in any regard, i'm likely idolling. i am NOT leaving premerge with an idol - that's ugly. but it's a tribal with no advantage i fear most. i don't want to overthink it. i've wasted so many idols because i critiqued every little word + action. i want this game to be different. i'm totally using it tomorrow bc im a paranoid mess btw. but i truly would love to save this idol (if i'm safe, of course) for future use.

I can also see Tim's paranoia about me and Alyssa grow out of control and that's just something I'm going to have to deal with in this game. It's a fact.

I??????? WOW. I’m just really happy. I mean it sucks I guess cuz now it’s one less round to meet new people and maybe it’ll put me at a disadvantage for the merge that may be coming but like???? My head not being on the chopping block is pretty. Um. YEAH! I’m hoping that they vote out Luke tbh... but I guess we’ll seeeeeeee. For now I’ll enjoy being safe!!!

Angkor Wat Part 2

This is where I have to be honest about being a really bad tourist. I have no idea about the temples that I saw next. I have looked up the temples and even took a picture of the map but it seems that every one takes the same tour on the 17km small circuit. The next one Made me laugh as we got there as my Tuk-Tuk driver said to me "When you get lost ask another Tuk-Tuk driver and I'll be by the elephant ride which is over there" I can only assume that people get lost in this temple a lot. I do have to say that this temple played well to my idiosyncrasies of having things equal ( some may call it OCD). This temple was the same from what ever angle you looked at it. It was square and full of spires with faces that all looked the same. I managed to keep my bearings and come out at the same point. I did have a guy try and become a tour guide telling me there was a 15 meter deep well there that I never saw, because rather than being scared out of money for a bogus tour I made my excuses that I had to get back to my driver. Each temple seems to have a different country working alongside the Cambodian government to help to safe guard it and there is plenty of work going on at many of the sites in order to restore and preserve the site. Back in the Tuk-Tuk I passed some of the lesser temples with parades of stone elephants built in to them and more ruins to the side of the road. It is easy to see wit the jungle around it how some of the temples may have been lost for years if not used regularly. It would only take a few years for the site to be concealed by tree coverage. There were two temples at the next stop on either side of the road. Both had been cleared and cleaned up although left in some disrepair. It was easy to see just how impressive both these had been. Luckily there weren't too many tourists here so could beat a good look around without the crowds. The next temple on the route was definitely having work done with a large yellow crane at the back. At first I was disappointed as it looked impressive and I thought I might not get to see it. We stopped off at the side and I had to walk to the front of the temple. This temple had stairs. Lots of stairs! Obviously the people that created this temple needed to be closer to the heavens and the gods. Some of the original stairs have been covered with new wooden steps built over the original stone staircase to take you into this complex. Once inside you then see a really high stair case. I overheard a tour guide say to a couple. "Now you have a choice you can go up there but I'm staying here:" As the guy said he was going up, the guide said to him with some authority "Please , please be very careful". It was enough for me to take note of what he said. Normally I would have bounded up a set of stairs. I quickly realised why the guid had warned of caution. The original step had been worn. Each step was a very different shape and some were wider than others. On arriving at the top I could then see what was hidden from the bottom. Another stair case of the same size leading up to the main temple. In for a penny in for a pound I made it up to the top. I had To climb with both my hands and feet for this one as the stairs were less even than the first. To find a Buddha with a gold sash and incense stick burning. After gingerly making my way back down to the middle level I had a look at just how high the temple was looking out over the jungle. It is truly astonishing that all the stones were moved here just by man or animal power. There was supposed to be a stepped well here and looking at the pics it was quite big but I didn't find it. Mind you I am the person that missed the Pirate ship at Euro Disney! The next temple, after Angkor Wat was the one I wanted to see. What ever its name is, it is now known to everyone as the Lara Croft : Tomb Raider Temple. Of all the temples that I saw this one was by far the one in most disrepair. This did seem to add to the charm of it tho with piles of stones and scaffolding holding up walls with trees growing on top of them. This Temple is a one way route. The driver drops you off at one end and you walk all the way through and he picks you u at the other end. You enter through the gate and walk down a sand track. You are in the middle of the jungle so don't expect to be walking in the British museum. I heard so many Americans and Australians moaning about how dirty it was here. If you wear flip flops your feet will get dirty and dusty. The sites are authentic, they haven't put in concrete walkways for tourists, you walk down the same walkways that were originally there. If they were paved they are now if not then you take the dirt track the ancients did. As in part one i say again wear a pair of trainers as even the stone causeways are uneven and in this temple more so than in others. Although this temple was a busier one I still managed to find places to be alone and act out my Lara Croft fantasies. Being a solo traveller I had to set up the phone on timer to get the pics and was only caught once by a twelve year old, who gave me the I'm embarrassed for you look. This temple is a maze. But in the middle is the most amazing tree with roots growing down the walls. If I had not been on my own I would have done the same as some guides did of taking a panoramic picture of me at the bottom of the tree to the top. But the very nice Americans that took a pic for me were a bit old to be able to get what I would have asked for. They gave me their massive full on camera just short of being a 35mm. Maybe another time. The one thing that really caught my attention on this one was the amount of butterflies. In the movie you see them but I had thought it was a lucky shot or engineered for the movie but there loads of them flying around making this temple quite magical in the moment you were on your own. After this temple there was one more on the tour. This one again was a walk through temple. It started with a large lake to the side and was long and narrow with lots of it being held up with wood scaffolding. The carvings here were amazingly life like in places. And very worn in others. By this point my ankle was well over used and as an amazing experience it was I was glad it was the end. Allowing me time to get back to the hotel for a late lunch and a lounge around the pool.
