Once again I find myself without words, Sam Mewis you will always be a legend, this game will miss you everyday, I can’t believe this day has come for you so soon.
Injuries aren’t fair, and soccer is cruel.
Sam Mewis IS one of the greatest soccer players to ever touch a ball, and we couldn’t have won in 2019 without her.
Our amazing Tower of Power, I’ll be hanging on your every word in retirement.

Whee, just finished a big project I'd been figuring out x3
I'd already region-modded my Mega Drive, but I was stuck with the stock Mega CD BIOS…fine for PAL games, but I wanted to be more thorough!!
So…
I installed a MultiBIOS! And, an FRAM chip! With a bank for each region :3 And did the same to the other two that I uh...ended up with, hehehe!

I had to figure a lot of this out myself, as while there's definitely information, not all of it lined up with my aims. A lot are just in relation to switchless kits, and none detail working the FRAM bank switching into it!!
But I figured it all out, and now I have a Tower of Power that is fully region-modded and region free, as though I have a PAL, US and Japanese console, all in one system, that I can choose with the flick of a switch!!! (or a long hold of the reset button with the other two, I didn't want to fuss around with that for the one I'll be keeping xP)
Oh, and the model 1s here are recapped, don't worry! The second I bought as such, and the first, I did myself while doing this (and boy was it stubborn haha! But nothing went too wrong :3)

TOWER OF POWER (Live) - So Very Hard To Go
youtube
I knew the time would come, I'd have to pay for my mistakes / I can't blame you for what you're doin' to me girl / even tho' my heart aches / Your dreams have all come true just the way you planned them / so I'll just step aside, I'm gon step aside and lend a helping hand then.
'Cause I could never make you unhappy, no I couldn't do that girl / only wish I didn't love you so, makes it so very hard to go.
Good night y'all 😘

From the Festivál album, a song guaranteed to get your body moving, from Carlos Santana and the boys, augmented by the Tower of Power Horns.
This is a particularly sweet spot in the Santana discography, following his years in the spiritual jazz-rock realms that began with Caravanserai and continued through his time with his then-guru Sri Chinmoy. The band's release of Amigos, followed by Festivál, saw Carlos embrace actual tunes and danceable rhythms. And here, the Santana machine is in top form, featuring the great Jose "Chepito" Areas on the timbales and Raul Rekow on the congas, with Graham Lear (d) and Pablo Tellez (b). One of the best of the Santana bands.
Here is the original as written and popularized by the Cuban composer and percussionist Pello el Afrokán, born Pedro Izquierdo Padrón, who also developed the "Mozambique" rhythm called out in the lyrics.

Some background here on Pello:
And for the hispanohablantes among you, this documentary on the composer and percussionist:

March 23, 1975
San Francisco, California
Bill Graham promoted a benefit concert for SNACK (Students Need Athletics Culture and Kicks). Held at Kezar Stadium, the former home of the San Francisco 49ers, it was then the largest rock benefit concert ever held.
The lineup included Graham Central Station, Tower of Power, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Grateful Dead*, Joan Baez, and a special performance by Bob Dylan and The Band with Neil Young.
