Police clamp down on illegal gatherings as tighter restrictions loom

Poor start to the Season. Wham lost at home to Newcastle, yes Toon. Does not bode well if they can’t take even a point at home from this type of mid table outfit. I fear anpother trelegation battle looming and we are only one game into a 38 game season.

Walked from Clandon up to the West Humble car park where Allez Nuts parks his van at the weekend. It’s a slog all the way up to start with but a lovely walk once you get to the top. We had taken a picnic but couldn’t resist a cup of AN’s tea and a caramel, chocolate brownie. S took me on a slight diversion on the way down to a viewpoint overlooking Silent Pool and Albury Church. A view to die for - treally stunning. 

Passed the wood stacks which had recently been cleared but were now, once again, piles high with new timber. Odd shaped and sized trees and logs were all stacked 8 feet high on the left of the track. On the right were very orderly plies of regular sized pine logs. All about 8 feet long and even girth. Some said 2.1 posts whilst others were marked 1.7 stakes. All stacked and ready for processing.
