(also, i’ve never done anything TsuKura-related and don’t really see much of it anywhere, so here ya go!)

MORE PRINCESS TUTU AU

God himself could not stop me from posting about this, deal with it.

So, as I said previously, Hanako and Tsukasa were princes in the storybook world, but the author (Lemon) didn’t think that made for an interesting story, so he warped Tsukasa and made him evil, and it became Hanako’s duty to kill him. Tsukasa escapes from the story and Hanako (and a few others) follow him out. Tsukasa is more dangerous in the real world, but Hanako doesn’t have the heart to kill him. So he carves out his own heart and uses magic + the shattered pieces to seal his brother away. 

So now Hanako & co. are j-chillin’ in the real world, and really aren’t putting any effort into going back. Lemon thinks this is boring.

Nene is a fish, and she thinks that blows. She sees students from the nearby ballet school walking by her pond or practicing near it and she’s mad jealous. Lemon knows this and is like, “Hey. You know how you want to be a human real bad? Well, I could make that happen for you if you do me this tiiiiiiny little favor.” And Nene thinks that’s legit, so she agrees without asking what she’s gotta do

So cool! Now Nene is a human! But also she’s gotta be Princess Tutu on the side. Her job is to find the shattered pieces of Hanako’s heart and return them to him (she doesn’t know, but this will ALSO free Tsukasa, setting the plot back in motion).

This is already a difficult job (the heart shards are essentially possessing people, and she has to coax them out as she comes across them), but what doesn’t help is that Hanako and pals find out what she’s doing and are NOT fans.

Hanako is literally heartless, so he’s an unfeeling bastard. All he knows is that his problems were all taken care of when his heart was cut out, and he’s content to stay this way.

Kou is Hanako’s knight, who followed them out into the real world to help. He’s like... low-key traumatized by his pal carving his heart out but he’s dealing, it’s fine (it’s not fine). He doesn’t like heartless Hanako, but he also realizes that the sacrifice was necessary and doesn’t want it to be in vain, so he’s against Nene as well. Over time though, as Hanako starts getting his heart back and becoming more like his old self, Kou starts to side more often with Nene

Sakura was Tsukasa’s fiance in the storybook world, and she followed them out to the real world in the hopes that she could get the real Tsukasa back without any violence. In the years since he was sealed away, though, she’s forgotten about her old life in the storybook world, except for a few confusing flashes of memories and feelings. As Nene collects heart shards and gives them back to Hanako, Tsu starts regaining power, and he uses this to influence Sakura to act on his behalf, making her the “black swan” adversary to Princess Tutu. She tries to steal the heart shards Nene has collected before they can be given back to Hanako, so she/Tsukasa can mess with them and weaken or influence him

Aaaaand of course, Hanako and Nene hate each other at the beginning due to their conflicting goals, but as he regains pieces of his heart and becomes more like his old self, he and Nene grow closer and start to fall in love. Because duh.

also all this plotty stuff happens in the midst of some cool ass ballet scenes, including some very important pas de deux sequences between Hanako and Nene

all the while, Lemon is also around pulling strings, collaborating with Sakura, etc. to make sure the story is interesting, and that they’ll give him the tragic ending he wants

TBHK Soul Eater AU Concept

Okay so Farryn and I have an entire document dedicated to AUs for hanako but we haven’t actually written anything since January and I’m not sure we’re ever going to get to these so I’m going to start posting some of them here in the hopes that it might inspire someone to write some!

This one is more mitsukou centric (because we’re both suckers for mitsukou) and I’m literally just going to copy paste it from the doc here:

Hanako is a meister, Yashiro becomes his weapons

Tsukasa used to be his weapon but he’s started to go kishin so he gets paired with Yashiro instead

Yashiro is def a metal tonfa that vaguely resembles a daikon

Kou is a meister and Mitsuba is a spy for the witches acting as his weapon

Mitsuba is a staff

SLAM MY HEAD INTO ANOTHER KISHIN I FUCKIN DARE YOU

TRYING TO RUIN MY BEAUTIFUL FACE!!

Kou thinks it’s funny

Sakura is a witch and works with Tsukasa

Natsuhiko is just lost and Sakura finds him and he’s literally just a normal guy but he becomes Sakura’s henchman somehow

Sakura thinks Tsukasa is annoying but goes along with his plans anyway as she finds his personality charming in her own way

Plot could go as Kou and Mitsuba centric, Mitsuba invading the school, getting attached, every so often reporting to Tsukasa but WOWOW he’s caught! Fight ensues! Sakura and Tsukasa as a team vs hanenene and kou v Mitsuba!!

Tsukasa is def a hunters knife, for the irony

Mitsuba is kind of manipulated and not cared for. Kou treats him like an equal in a way he’s never experienced and the longer he disguises as Kou’s weapon the more he realizes he wants to actually be his partner, for real, not undercover, but he doesn’t know how to get out

Cue angst because it’s me and I like my characters to suffer

Lemon is Akane’s meister. Akane is a pocket watch with some type of time-slowing ability idk we didn’t work that out.

Tsuchigamori is a professor idk something like that

No. 6 (Shinigami) is Death and Aoi is Kid no we will not elaborate we don’t know this was a last minute edition

When Hanako first starts training with Yashiro, Kou and Mitsuba witness a fight between them when Hanako uses Yashiro incorrectly, like he would have used Tsukasa. Mitsuba and Kou promise each other they won’t ever fight like that.

They do fight like that, though, when Kou finds out Mitsuba has been using him to spy on Hanako and Yashiro for Tsukasa and Sakura. Mitsuba is distraught because he actually grew more attached to Kou than anyone he had ever met

Old mirror found by students may reflect on arcane rituals

OKAYAMA--Archaeology students have discovered an ancient bronze mirror from an undisturbed tomb from the early Kofun period (late third to fourth centuries) here in western Japan.

“I was a little freaked out when I saw the greenish thing and realized it could be a mirror,” said first-year master's student Tomoya Kajiki, 23, recalling the moment of discovery. “So much so I almost pretended not seeing it.

“When soil was removed carefully, a mirror in a tidy condition appeared.”

Okayama University’s archaeological research lab announced March 14 that the mirror, about 14 centimeters in diameter but broken in half, was spotted by the group of master students on March 11 when they were working at one of two stone burial chambers at the Tsukura burial mound in the city’s Kita Ward.
