Sorry this may be long, just a bit of insight into UEFA Coaching Courses and the coach that popped off.
It was completely wrong to outright accuse Steph or the others of not having their previous coaching licenses when some of them definitely do have their Coaching B licence. But it was a case of frustration at the system boiling without thinking. Definitely the wrong way and time to do it though.
Basically, before doing each license you need the previous one (obviously) and normally you need to have held it for a certain amount of time. So if you get your B license, typically you need that for a ayesr before even applying to the ALicense course. Some of these players definitely haven't waited that long . Aoife only got her B license just before starting her A License. Viv as well,so that's where the fast tracked bit actually comes in, whilst Steph and Izzy have both had theirs a while. But they've done the proper work and done placements with whoever, the academies of their clubs and such and that's where it was very wrong of her, which is accusing them of not having done their badges at all. MAYBE some of them didn't do their C licenses, Beth definitely has, she did it years ago. It involved a lot of basics on safe guarding though so I imagine they all did it without the need to wait some time before moving onto the next (plus priority for placements on a course for reasons explained below) because you have to do that stuff to coach kids as well which is where you start so not really something you CAN skip.
It's also expensive, very limited on spaces, and only has one or two classes of people each year do it. There's also a priority list for spaces to be given to people already working in the both the WSL and Championship whether that be players, coaches, assistants. But this makes it hard for regular folks wishing to become coaches to make their way up because it takes a lot of time. Which really sucks right now because it prioritises men still and is still hard for women to build up to coach 18+ players and pro teams. And we need more of them, so yeah, the system is fucked still. Also they're all ex or current players so there's a media thing played into the FA/UEFA doing this.
So yeah, definitely a pop at the system, but going the wrong way about it accusing them of not doing their previous licenses, definitely fast tracked to some extent (for some) so I get the frustration but it's not new to fast track people in the top 2 leagues by any means and everyone did the actual work to get there.
Yes, I agree with almost all of this. Just one question, do you know exactly when Beth and Viv finished their B license? How do you know they didn't wait a year, regardless, I'm pretty sure they worked with the Arsenal Academy.

As mentioned a high salary isn't the most important. Actual game minutes like Amy said matters for player development. Another factor is the training environment and I'm not talking about facilities and resources. I'm talking about the quality of training and the quality of team mates, how many better than average players there are in a team.
Our youth talents for sure get top quality team mates in the absolute top clubs like Chelsea where there are mostly starting XI national team players for every position and on the bench. But that's not the case for the mid to lower table teams in WSL and that's where our young Swedish players have a higher chance of getting a good amount of game minutes.
Elisabeth Gunnarsdottir, who's coached Kristianstad for 15 years until now, mentioned she's watching a lot of other leagues and said the Damallsvenskan is still the most tactical league out there. Plus that all teams across the table have taken steps and closed the gap to the top teams. In Sweden it's a requirement for a head coach to have a UEFA Pro coaching license, the highest there is. As far as I know that's not the case in England. As a sidenote there's a reason both Anja Mittag and Ella Masar chose to take their coaching licenses in Sweden and not in another European country.
It's evident Beta's words ring true. First the big European clubs came for our players. Now they come for our players and our coaches... It's individual but our youth talents would fare better to not take the step abroad until they've at least turned 22. If nothing else to have time to build up their physique. Take Kafaji for example. She's said her long time injury gave her time to build muscles and get more of a senior player body than a junior player body.
Let's not forget there is a big step youth talents need to take in order to develop from a junior player to a senior player. We're kinda still waiting for Bennison to become the big player she has the potential to be and she's played in England since summer 2021 when she was 18. She was sooooo good in the Tokyo Olympics but after her move to Everton, the good performances she's done for Sweden is unfortunately rare. I think Bennison should do a Blackstenius. Or a Janogy. Come home to play for a season or two and then go abroad again.
yea like i've said before the best path to look at might be Ps. she had offers for more bigger clubs when she first moved abroad but she chose Linkoping cause she was gonna be guaranteed consistent playing minutes and then they helped her develop. imo theres only so much a player can develop from training. its like mosy things you have to put the study into action to see it work

Exciting potential changes coming to Danish football
DBU has announced a draft to a potential “fast track” for women’s team to jump straight to first division and therefor will (technically) only need a season to qualify for Gjensidige Kvindeliga.
The draft made is with intentions of teams using the fast track beginning the 2024/2025 season
The demands to for the team to go this way involves things like:
- An assistant coach with a minimum of a uefa B license
- Physical trainer with either a BA or approved experience
- Physiotherapist who has to be at attendance for all home games
- A continues collaborative with a doctor
- A person responsible for all ongoing communication around talent scouts / trainer teams / playing and technical style / employments
- An approved plan for contracts prior to 1/6/2024 containing:
• 6 full-time and 10 part-time contracts employed by 1/9/2024
• 10 full-time, 10 part-time and 6 youth contracts by 1/9/2025
This is all in no way an organic form and it’s obvious this was only made for the big clubs like FCK and FCM to not “waste” years in small leagues but also DBU pushing them to actually invest in the women’s teams they are forced to create from UEFA. The positive thing is the potential wave this might create. If FCK gets into Gjensidige with a minimum of 10 full-time contracts, the other teams there have to somewhat follow lead to keep up. Is it bad for the smaller teams? Yes. But quite frankly amateur teams shouldn’t have a place in the top league anyway, otherwise we won’t get anywhere.

Slight correction: Elena hasn't stopped being a coach. She's recently been accepted to take the Uefa pro coaching license. In other words she's a coach and a wag
I was just trying to be funny cause she's not currently coaching 😅 I know she's going to do her pro licence and I think that's amazing!

Referee Justifies Denial of Scotland Penalty in Match Against Hungary
Tumblr media
Scotland's plea for a penalty in their final Euro 2024 group match against Hungary was rightly dismissed because Stuart Armstrong had initiated contact with Hungarian defender Willi Orban, according to UEFA's head of referees. Argentine referee Facundo Tello faced criticism from Scotland's head coach Steve Clarke after Hungary's 1-0 win, which led to Scotland's exit from the tournament. However, Roberto Rosetti, UEFA's managing director of refereeing, defended the decision during a briefing on officiating in Germany. Steindy (talk) 12:23, 2 April 2011 (UTC), CC BY-SA 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0, via Wikimedia Commons Rosetti explained that the incident was reviewed by the VAR team, which concluded that there was no need for an on-field review by Tello. He also noted a potential handball by Scotland's John McGinn earlier in the match that was not called. Reflecting on the match, Rosetti acknowledged it was challenging and filled with contentious moments. One key moment was in the 68th minute when McGinn appeared to pull an opponent's shirt just before the incident involving Armstrong. In the 79th minute, another controversial moment occurred in Hungary's penalty area when Armstrong moved towards Orban, which was interpreted as initiating contact. Rosetti emphasized that VAR reviews every incident thoroughly. In this case, the VAR team believed that Armstrong's movement towards Orban constituted physical contact intended to challenge the defender. When asked if Tello would continue to officiate in the knockout stages, Rosetti did not provide a direct answer, only mentioning that it is common for some top referees to leave tournaments early. Rosetti also supported the decision to award a penalty and a red card to Scotland's Ryan Porteous in their opening match against Germany, calling it a "good decision by the referee and a very good intervention by the VAR." EA Sports FC 24: Release Date, Platforms, and Features and more
The release date was widely expected, as an end-of-September berth is traditional for EA's football games. Indeed, there were few surprises during EA’s official reveal event for the new game. But perhaps that was the point. With a cover star confirmed and the vast majority of its licenses still very much in place, though, we've got all the details that are public about FC 24 so far, so read on to find out everything you should know about it.
What is the EA Sports FC 24 release date
EA Sports FC 24 has a release date of September 29. However, as we have come to expect from the series, there will be an early access period for those who have purchased the Ultimate Edition, as well as a trial via EA Play for members of the subscription service.
The early access period that comes with the Ultimate Edition means you can play EASFC 24 from September 22.
Check out all of the skill moves in EA Sports FC 24, including the four new skill moves you can use
What is EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team?
The goal of Ultimate Team is to assemble your dream squad. How you achieve that squad, is completely up to the player. There are plenty of options to get there. Within Ultimate Team there are both online and offline game modes that you can enjoy.
Just like in real life football, there is a transfer market within FUT. And with the introduction with cross-play, the transfer market is cross-platform between the Xbox and PlayStation (when PC EA?). On the transfer market, you can buy and sell players, but to buy them you need so called FIFA coins. And to no ones surprise, the top players are all very expensive, which means you'll need to win a lot, or invest and trade your way up.
Next to active current players, there are also FIFA Icons. These are legendary players that we all know from football's history, like Ronaldo Lima, Maradona and Pelé. In total, there are more than 100 icons available in EA Sports FC. And then there are also FUT Heroes, which are a different group of retired football players every fan should know.
What licences will EA Sports FC 24 have?
It will be business as usual for EA Sports FC, with the bulk of official partners remaining with the game after the split with FIFA.
In a blog, EA EVP and GM Cam Weber confirmed that, "more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues that we’ve continued to invest in for decades will still be there, uniquely in EA SPORTS FC."
The Premier League, UEFA (meaning Champions League, Europa League and Women's Champions League), Serie A, La Liga, MLS, Ligue 1, the Bundesliga, CONMEBOL and EFL have all been confirmed as partners.
What can we expect from FC 24 Career mode
There's no complete overhaul, sadly. EA Sports FC 24 splits things between Player Career and Manager Career. In Player Career, the big new addition is the Ballon d'Or inclusion mentioned above. You also get to select an agent, and can specify which club you want to aim for in your career - raising your chances or ending up with the team you support.
In Manager Career, there are now seven identities you can set your club up with, such as Tiki Taka or Park The Bus. You then need to hire the right coaches to fit that approach. Training regimes tailored for individual opponents enable you to set up your team just right for the next fixture, and there's a new open-tour bus cut-scene included to celebrate league title glory, if you manage to earn it. AI decision making is pretty much the same as last year, however, so don't expect it to suddenly play like Football Manager.
EA Sports FC 24 trailers
We have only seen one trailer for EASFC 24 so far. It was what we have come to expect from this type of trailer, highlighting the players we can expect to use and offering glimpses into the gameplay. The biggest change we can see is women finally being added to the game, with them lining up alongside male players.
The trailer also offers a look at some of the Icons in the game, confirming both Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham will be returning this time around.
EA Sports FC platforms
PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players are likely to see the best version of the game, although PS4 and Xbox One users should see some changes upon release.
Nintendo Switch fans will be hoping for more from EA this time around as the recent FIFA titles have offered very little in the way of improvement, with Legacy Editions released.
EA FC 24: gameplay
HyperMotion V is the new HyperMotion technology for EA FC 24, a huge upgrade on HyperMotion 2.0 in FIFA 23. Rather than using body motion capture suits with players from the lower divisions of Spain, EA has used volumetric video capture to go from capturing data in two games of football to 183 across the highest levels. In total, EA has 1.3 billion frames of data to make the game as realistic as possible.
The new HyperMotion technology means that EA can now replicate real-life moments from games over the last 12 months to make gameplay look extremely realistic. There's also been a bunch of other updates to EA FC 24 gameplay using HyperMotion V, including the introduction of precision passing, Controlled Dribble Sprint, Effort Dribble Touch, Responsive Shooting and improved ball physics.
Another new addition is PlayStyles, replacing the traits system from FIFA 23. 34 PlayStyles will be introduced in six different categories, with these PlayStyles giving players specific advantages in-game.
For example, players with the Speed Dribbler PlayStyle will feel more agile than others, while players with the Trickster PlayStyle are able to pull off flicks and feints that other players cannot. These PlayStyles can be used across all game modes and can be applied to players in Ultimate Team as well as your Pro in Clubs.
As soon as there are more news about EA Sports FC 24, https://www.igmeet.com/Ea-sports-fc-Gold will update this article for you. As the main virtual currency in the game, FIFA 24 Coins or FC 24 Coins are essential for FUT pack opening, player purchasing, squad building, and team upgrading. But we have to mention that you need to choose a reliable place to buy Coins without any risks. We all would like to build a squad team in Ultimate Team.

Have you seen the beef between a coach and Steph H on twitter? The coach reckons it’s ‘unfair Steph H has been fast tracked to get her A and B licenses’ - Steph H is saying she hasn’t been fast tracked and can prove it with her certifications. 🌶️
Wow, I did not know this. Thank you for telling me. This reminded me of the 11v11 question from May I have included in this thread because it seemed important to note that they have done their homework. There may be some benefits in already being a pro athlete, but I don't feel any animosity because we all know that's probably the least they deserve.

In addition to the anon who asked about Slegers she's coached Rosengård's U17 or U19 team, Sweden U23, Rosengård's A-squad and she was part of Swewnt's video analytics and scouting staff for the World Cup this summer.
She took over Rosengård after Eidevall left and has led them to league titles, cup titles plus coached them in CL. But with the poor results this season she was sacked before the World Cup started. She has a UEFA Pro coaching license, the highest available.
yea she's a brilliant edition to the Arsenal training staff
