Vinicius jr Summer 2025

What do we know about Viniciusjr, the Flamengo youth product , before the summer of 2024
He came to Real Madrid and worked his way into a starting position.
As a support player to Benzema leading Real Madrid in attack he won laliga twice, won the UEFA champions league, won the copa del rey [ NOTE: in both laliga seasons Benzema was the top goalscorer for Real Madrid but in the second Vinicius jr was tied for third and two goals away from outright second. Toni Kroos wasn't in the top ten in assist in either of those seasons. Benzema led real madrid in assist both times, Modric was second in the first season and Viniciusjr was second in the second season. In the champions league Viniciusjr was young player of the tournament but here is the biggest point, scored the only goal in the final. Think on that. Vini isn't a high volume goalscorer, but vini scores high quality goals + he supports defense. I was unable to find takes by players. but Vini to me stole the ball more than any other attacker, though the statistic seems irrelevant to many. In the copa del rey he scored three goals, Rodrygo scored four, Benzema scored four]
As the leading attacking player won laliga, won the UEFA champions league [In Laliga Jude Bellingham led Real Madrid with 19 goals, Vini had 15 goals. Kroos was the only Real Madrid player in the top ten assist, but why? he had bellingham as a false nine. In the 442 system. Bellingham is an attacking midfielder. He is not box to box. In the UEFA champions league Vini tops Real Madrid goalscorers , while Joselu + Rodrygo share second. Vini won player of the season. Also scoring in another final. Jude young player of the season]
Viniciusjr as a support player won all trophies for Real Madrid while as a leading player has won all but the copa del rey for Real Madrid. So he has no trophy to earn in a years time. He even won the inaugural Intercontinental cup, the replacement for the annual club world cup, for Real Madrid.
What happened in the summer 2024?
The trident of Vinicisujr/Bellingham/Rodrygo proved on the pitch, not aesthetically or statistically, that they could win. Kroos left and Mbappe came. Ancelotti correctly had to end the use of Endrick to sub in for Jude + Guler to replace Kroos and start Mbappe in a center forward position which forced Jude to share a line,Vini + Rodrygo to become support players to a player out of place in the center forward position.
What happened 2024-2025?
The balance Real Madrid had in 2023-2024 was deleted in 2024-2025. Jude went from tied for third with Lewandowski , a constant top goal challenger, with Vini also in the top ten in 2023-2024 to only Mbappe in the top ten goalscorers in laliga in 2024-2025. But in the 2023-2024 UEFACL Real Madrid had three players in the top ten of goalscoring led by Viniciusjr only two goals away from joint goal leader Mbappe with Harry Kane to the 2024-2025 UEFACL Viniciusjr leads goalscorers for Real Madrid with an increase of two, while Mbappe only has six and is the only other Real Madrid player. So Jude's game has been totally manipulated in a negative way by the presence of Mbappe.
What happened while in the summer 2025?
Xabi Alonso is brought in with a public goal to take a vertical squad, whom outside of Mbappe are full of players who have won everything for real madrid, and get them to be a horizontal squad. It isn't looking brilliant on day one and fans are back to wanting Viniciusjr out which they wanted before his first la liga win.
Where does this leave Vinividivici while in the summer 2025?
Vini is 24 years old and has won all trophies, most twice, for real madrid. President Perez clearly wasn't interested in Vini leading the attack of Real Madrid. Or wasn't convinced of the success in 2023-2024 being the start of a trophy laden era. But, statistics like possession nor aesthetics like a team mostly in another teams area equal wins, wins equal wins. So I think Vini has questions that need answering and he has time.
Although, in the summer of 2025?
I can say , Vini may simply be resting his body. Fitness is a big thing and as a fan of Neymar, I think Viniciusjr may be looking at his long term fitness and not willing to play every game all out as fans want and risk severe injury. Vini has earned the right to measure himself for the long Real Madrid season ahead.
I can say, Vini may be contemplating a move. If Al hilal can get Vini(24)+ Jonathan David(25) in place of Osimhen+Bruno Fernandes, I think they will be very dangerous. Jonathan David is quietly, one of the best goalscorers based on rate of conversion, meaning, the least number of attempts needed to score a goal. And is mobile and a team player. Vini is similarly a team player. Both are vertical players though and Al Hilal is clearly a vertical team, which also suits the tactics in Inzaghi's strategy.
I can say, Vini may need to move for his betterment plus Real Madrid's. The reality is, as I said in the summer of 2024. Vini+Rodrgyo+Jude should had left really. Fans of real madrid didn't want those three to leave while they wanted Mbappe to come in and didn't cognize that mbappe being in the squad is going to change the balance of the squad and it is still evident. And now going from the vertical Ancelotti to the horizontal Xabi Alonso has made it more challenging. Camavinga/Valverde/Jude/Vini/Rodrygo if you look at their most successful times it was going up and down crossing vertical lines on a pitch horizontally, they don't horizontally move so much. Last season Jude acted like Pedri or Vitinha for real madrid but it wasn't his game. And he got frustrated as Mbappe in the center forward position he had was really atrocious alot of times. For all of Mbappe's goals, in each match in 2024-2025 he looked out of place or unsettled where Jude looked very comfortable in 2023-2024. So maybe this summer a bunch of players from Real Madrid: Vini/Rodrygo/Jude/Tchouameni/Camavinga/Mendy all leave. They all have won all trophies for Real Madrid and don't tell me they all dreamed of winning three or more uefacl's in row with real madrid. BS. And this Quadrennial Club World Cup proves Money + Glory + Serious Football Clubs exist outside UEFA. Go Get It!

AL Hilal showed the future, whether people want to see it or not
MY THOUGHTS hhahaha:)well, all I want is for everyone to comprehend that the future is very bright for the beautiful game, and that brightness stems from it not being centered in uefa but by it having a growing AFC through various fa's in it, by having a rejuvenated conmebol through brasil's flowering, by the growth even in the usa making concacaf stronger, with CAf teams like Mamelodi + pyramids spending more money than ever before…. and with the growth of womens soccer in all of these places making the game have true fandom across genders. For me, the goal of fifa is to expand the sport, the genius of what the french led was it wasn't about france or uefa really, it was about making an organization to grow the sport to make it have various zones of excellence that can change with the ebb and tides of humanities various zones of peace or war which are both inevitable. One day, maybe china will be the top superpower, maybe one day, brazil will be where china is now. Maybe one day famines will hit north america holistically, who knows, but fifa's model is the only one flexible enough to handle all of that. because each country has an fa, each geographic zone has a confederation and wherever some place turns to rubble another place glistens. I embrace the beauty of that which no other sport can claim. MATCH REVIEW AL HILAL vs REAL MADRID 06/18/2025 Al Hilal have had more opportunities than Real Madrid and arguably need better finishing. I argue, Osimhen in some of those situations is a goal. A l hilal equalized with a penalty. they had opportunities without the ball. Pundits are saying Al hilal is unexpectedly, n control,… the question is do pundits watch saudi soccer, i have caught some games, the big teams are no joke, this is why al nassr has problems. HALFTIME regardless of what people think of saudi arabia or al hilal, they showed they are a holistic good product. administration/coach/players. I do think they need osimhen's goals, with that goal power they can win anything. they had two attempts unchallenged, one with the marker for trent, that you have to put on target at least. and al hilal hasn't given up on their three. After the club world cup they will go again. I do think osimhen + bruno in this team from a goals perspective can do a lot That was a bullshit call and we all know, milinkovic savic was hacked in this match counless times and the ref called nothing the first time i experienced the 8 second goalkeeper rule, poor Bono ! corner but handled AL HILAL! if anything prove they need the goalscorers of Osimhen + Bruno Fernandes, Al Hilal had the most attempts early, got to score those man Good game, both coaches are saved a loss, but Al Hilal, if they can get Osimhen+ Bruno Fernandez…

Don't get it twisted my friends, all clubs love the Quadrennial Club World Cup

MY THOUGHTS Look at the money in this tournament, results based. ARTICLE Mamelodi Sundowns’ Club World Cup prize money passes R200 million mark Story by Garrin Lambley Mamelodi Sundowns’ confirmed prize money banked at this year’s FIFA Club World Cup has passed the R200 million mark – after just ONE match played! FIFA has revamped the tournament, increased the tournament to 32 teams – and coughed up $1 billion to be split between the sides competing. By securing their places, Al Ahly of Egypt, Esperance of Tunisia, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and Wydad Casablanca of Morocco are each guaranteed $9.55 million (R171 million) in appearance fees – before a ball is kicked. But that’s not all! Every win in the group phase will be worth $2 million (R35.8 million) and a draw $1 million (R17.9 million) so there’ll be incentive to play – and win – no matter whether it’s a ‘dead rubber’ or not. Mamelodi Sundowns have been drawn in Group F alongside German team Borussia Dortmund, Brazil outfit Fluminense and South Korean side Ulsan HD. Masandawana got their group stage campaign off to the perfect start on Tuesday, beating Uslan HD 1-0 thanks to a goal by Iqraam Rayners. That means at this stage Mamelodi Sundowns have banked $9.55 million (R171 million) in appearance fees and $2 million (R35.8 million) for their opening match win, giving them a total of R206.8 million. More money to come? A top-two finish and qualification for the knockout phase will be worth an extra $7.5 million (R134 million) to those 16 teams. Should Mamelodi Sundowns finish top of Group F, they will face the runner-up in Group E. Group E comprises River Plate from Argentina, Italy’s Inter Milan, Monterrey from Mexico and Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds. If Mamelodi Sundowns finish second in Group F, they will face the winner of Group E. Should Masandawana successfully navigate their way into the quarter-finals, that will be worth another $13.125 million (R235 million). A spot in the semi-finals would be worth an additional $21 million (R376 million). The tournament’s runner-up will receive $30 million (R537 million) while the overall winner will walk way $40 million (R716.5 million) richer. … That is PROPER money and will ensure Mamelodi Sundowns get richer and the gap between the Tshwane giants and the rest of the PSL teams just widens even further. It’s also sure to leave Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates green with envy. The next FIFA Club World Cup is due to be held in 2029. What Atletico Madrid need, and it isn't a change in referees?

I always say ref interpretation matters, but each psg goal i can see the genesis and the ref had nothing to do with it.
Why did psg's attackers like griezzman + alvarez not track back and cover the central space above the goal, there was a time atletico madrid's entire team would always be behind the ball, they rarely do that now and those spaces is where the first goal came from
why did atletico madrid collectively sigh and stop moving when griezzman missed his strike at the end of the first half, why didn't griezzman score, he is atleti's top scorer historically, yet he has never won a golden boot and hasn't scored since february. Atleti was tired and stopped playing
Why did lenglet… recently bought from barca.. anyway, get two yellow cards talking to the ref, leaving atletico down to ten men which as a non athletic team is lethal against arguably the most athletic team in uefa at the moment, psg. And then the high frequency attack of psg led to in tandem with the passing ow out the back, an interception and a goal from the teenager.
Why did le Normand knowing VAR is always about , not make sure his hands were in an unnatural position completely behind him? Yes, ref's can interpret handball various ways but the point is, you stop certain interpretations as player
I think the match was even, it was not uneven. Yes I saw the handball by mendes in the second half, yes, in the first half, mendes fouled guiliano as last man, yes in both times he never received a card. ok, will every ref see it that way? no. But why did Sorloth miss that sitter, when psg had two goals , and he had empty net in front of him with his psg marker and donnarumma to the side? I keep saying the same things.
What is the attacking point of a high frequency attack strategy? the point is you don't have players with a high conversion rate so the more chances are literally needed for your players to score, ala psg whose players are not natural goalscorers need more chances. What is the attacking point of a comfortable defense absent possession? the point is you have to have patience in attack and attack sharply with a high conversion rate.
PSG have the players for that system. Atletico Madrid against the most high frequency attacks don't have the players for that system. Alvarez didn't even challenge the keeper with his set piece , which was the first big offensive moment of the match. Sorloth didn't hit the target on an empty net If both of them have a 100% conversion rate, the score is 2-2 what is my point? Atletico madrid's goalscorers: Alvarez/Sorloth/Correa need to have the highest conversion rate in UEFA for Atletico Madrid to win all trophies. Look at this conversion rate table in the UEFA champions league 2024-2025
Name: Shots at the goal() : Goals : Ratio% FC Barcelona 224 (75.4 %) 43 14.5 % LOSC Lille 95 (71.4 %) 19 14.3 % Atlético de Madrid 123 (71.5 %) 24 14.0 % Arsenal FC 184 (77.6 %) 31 13.1 % Feyenoord Rotterdam 118 (71.5 %) 21 12.7 % Real Madrid 197 (74.6 %) 33 12.5 % Celtic FC 91 (72.8 %) 15 12.0 % GNK Dinamo Zagreb 75 (74.3 %) 12 11.9 % Borussia Dortmund 199 (72.9 %) 31 11.4 % SL Benfica 148 (79.6 %) 21 11.3 % Aston Villa 154 (72.6 %) 23 10.8 % Paris Saint-Germain 285 (73.5 %) 42 10.8 % AS Monaco 113 (73.9 %) 16 10.5 % Inter Milan 182 (71.4 %) 26 10.2 % Manchester City 159 (77.2 %) 21 10.2 %
The table exposes the truth. PSG is not a particularly good scoring team, their ratio is 10.8 but look at the number of shots. PSG took more shots than Barcelona. And thus PSG's strategy. PSG don't have goalscorers but they are a high frequency goalscoring team. Look at Barca for example. They have the highest conversion rate and second highest number of goals. So Barca have better goal scorers, but this also proves how Barca is able to be the comeback kings. Now look at Atletico Madrid. Atletico have the third highest conversion rate. But they take less shots so Atletico Madrid is actually a sharper scoring team, meaning they score with fewer chances. Look who is second Lille. So what is the point? For Lille or Atletico Madrid who defend without the ball alot, they need higher conversion. Not more goals attempts, they need to be number one on the conversion chart, not second or third but first. Look at Arsenal for example, another high frequency attack, a high number of shots on goal, double of lille's yet lille has a greater conversion rate, and that is mostly down to Jonathan David. Look at Inter Milan, they have 182 attempts nearly as much as arsenal but a far lower rate. That proves Inter Milan have goalscoring issues. so, thinking on 2025-2026, Atletico Madrid have to do two things which I said they needed to do in 2024-2025. Have a greater conversion rate + got to get clean sheets. Atletico Madrid's inability to get clean sheets and when I look at Alvarez+ Griezzman, they tend to float. Atletico Madrid do not put all players behind the ball to save legs and it is costing Atletico Madrid.
Source for rate https://www.transfermarkt.com/uefa-champions-league/chancenverwertung/pokalwettbewerb/CL
IN AMENDMENT
I want Jonathan David for Atletico Madrid, he comes from a club with a similar profile, lille. and he is young. Greizzman's age shows. You get Jonathan David, and Alvarez up top, it will help atletico madrid a lot.

Captain Koulibaly

The captaincy of Kalidou Koulibaly one of my players, I love Koulibaly.
He was one of the reasons napoli had money with his big money move to al hilal. Already won the cup of nations and to be the captain of the first side to defeat england from caf

Osimhen's agent is the player's enemy

“Osimhen is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. Victor was elected African Footballer of the Year, eighth at the Ballon d'Or, he still has so much to do in Europe," agent, Roberto Calenda, had said at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Finally proof, now it all fits. A UEFA agent, biggest prize is Osimhen. If Osimhen leave for any team in Saudi Arabia, no matter the later success of Al-Ahli or the money of Al-hilal he will speak against either. Calenda is trying to use Osimhen to get another big ticket player in the UEFA game. So Osimhen's agent a white man has supported Osimhen a black man taking less money for the honor of playing in… Europe the ancestral home of white europeans the world over.

Three players, gambling you can force a club to do what you want?

ok, it seems al hilal wanted Victor Osimhen/ Theo Hernandez/ Bruno Fernandez and while I don't know if Napoli/AC Milan/MUFC all accepted the bids , something tells me each of those clubs accepted the bids but all three players said no. Now all three of these players got the biggest bid for their talents this summer from al hilal. and the club they are going to has Ruben Neves who just won the nations league/ Koulibaly who is still one of the finest readers of attack in the world/ salem dasawari who is saudi and can play, you add osimhen/hernandez/fernandez and I think with mitrovic +milikovic savij and company, I think al hilal can roll with anybody. And with inzaghi as coach they will play to win, not impress, but to win.
But the players said no. But here is the financial issue. MUFC/AC Milan/Napoli all want Al hilal money!! and while these three players may want less to play in uefa, the clubs they are transferring from don't want less. I am 100% certain MUFC want as much as possible for any player that leaves this summer. So who in UEFA can pay the 75 million Napoli want, the al hilal fee MUFC wanted, or the money ac milan who are not in uefa next season want.
Atletico Madrid don't have the money AC Milan want for theo hernandez so I don't comprehend what the player is going for. I don't know what team Osimhen is trying to get to cause Galatasaray don't have the 75 million napoli want. and MUFC definitely don't want a lean deal in UEFA for Bruno .
IN AMENDMENT I Get it! now Hernandez contract is up June 2026. I get it! Osimhen contract is up June 2026 I get it! Ok, Hernandez and Osimhen both now Napoli + AC Milan want money, all of Serie A [exclude juve turino ]are selling teams, mature selling the teams. Not young ones like in Ligue1. The idea is, a player who is having a hard time comes in, resettles their career leaves for biggest bidder, ala Saudi arabia. But, Osimehn + Hernandez know they are on their last season. So while last season Osimhen was ready for AL ahli that Napoli scuttled, this season, he will stay in UEFA forcing Napoli to have a similar loan deal to a club like last season with Galatasaray and he leaves for free next summer or force Napoli to accept less and he leaves to some destination in UEFA. I even argue Osimhen may be more inspired to force Napoli not to get the most money based on their actions last summer. It seems Osimhen is willing to go to a club absent confederation play, a Nigerian is dreaming of England which is hilarious historically. Hernandez is similar. Simeone loves bringing players back, he loves that. He has set up a heritage of that in Atletico madrid but atleti don't have the money ac milan who isn't in UEFA at all next season want so… Bruno Fernandez contract ends in 2027 summer, now maybe with amorim Bruno a fellow Portuguese wants a season to see, but MUFC need money, he is a big money piece. alot of other pieces don't offer MUFC money so.. I get it, these three players Osimhen with the biggest value, Hernandez who has won everything needed in UEFA, Bruno who is the most valuable player in a cash strapped club, all rejected the biggest salary they will get offered in a club that is ambitious. Al Hilal is in the quadrennial club world cup cause they earned it , like all the others. But, ok. It will be interesting what happens to Hernandez/Bruno/Osimhen. Each player assumes they will have some sort of desired destination, but Napoli/AC Milan / MUFC are pissed I bet and that can lead to moves to places the players may not like or a benching their final season.
I think I see replacement players Serhou Guirassy has a 70 million dollar release clause, plays for Guinea, go AL Hilal! he s 29 but give him the same deal of 850,000 a week and i think he is gone. The short term loan deal for the club world cup for Ngolo Kante is interesting. The team who wins the club world cup get 125 million or something so it is worth the gamble. I wanted Ait Nouri but MCFC got him :) but I think Ferland Mendy is a good shout, no he can't play in the club world cup but he is a winner and will get healthy.
from the tweet linked below Theo Hernández, in discussions with Atlético Madrid after turning down Al Hilal bid on Sunday. Talks ongoing with his camp but no proposal at AC Milan expectations level yet. Milan had deal done with Al Hilal for €35m and insist on important fee. https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1932420633700581662

David Villa's point has flaws

well David Villa's point if true exposes a deeper problem, i repeat a flag team is a pickup team, if you are a flag coach and you haven't considered who a team will really look absent one player then...
And I just want to say, I think Isco did great. The problem spain have is one I always say about many flag teams. Flag coaches keep thinking about triangles and possession percentage instead of goals. who are spains best goalscorers.
in 2024-2025 laliga the best spanish goalscorers from top to bottom are
ayoze perez of villareal a midfielder who is 31
sancet of bilbao a midfielder 25
kike a forward from alaves who is 35
puado of espanyol a foil at 27
iglesias of celta a center forward is 32
none of these players made the squad.
ligue1 had no top spanish goalscorers
epl no top spanish goalscorers
germany no top spanish goalscorers
eredivisie no top spanish goalscorers
Italy has two spanish top goalscorers
Pedro of Lazio at 37
assane diao of spain at 18
so of the seven players who are in the top goalscorers list in the combine western uefa big money five[england/spain/italy/germany/france] that are spanish who made the final in the uefa nations cup? none
maybe when spain is selecting players, maybe it might be smart to actually pick some spanish players who are actually scoring enough goals to be considered competitors for a golden boot.
I comprehend lamasi and all of that but...
and it gets better Aghehowa of porto was second in portugal's golden boot race, he is 21... did he make the final? no
Oscar aranda of famalicao also made the portuguese league list he is 23
so adding two more leagues to the five leagues mentioned before, adds two players to the seven and of these nine players, were any in the nations league final?
no

Osimhen can't lose 83% or any other percent of his earned potential wealth, no player should

My Thoughts If Osimhen doesn't go for the club willing to pay him the most for his skills for a UEFA trophy then he better win the uefa trophy. Here is the problem with sacrificing money for a uefacl trophy. The UEFA Champions league happens once a year, and involves circa 40 teams. Now a squad has on average 22 players. So if a competition has one hundred teams, one club has one percent chance. Now with forty teams a team has circa two percent chance. But if you consider that the UEFACL works by entry from the leagues in UEFA. Then UEFACL like all the confederation cup tournaments has circa two hundred and fifty teams so that is circa four tenths of one percent of a chance. While the ability to make a higher wage when offered is fifty percent. Fifty percent. Compare fifty percent chance to make more money when offered, a yes or no, compared to four tenths of one percent chance to win a UEFA champions league trophy with any club. So, in parallel, if a player chooses the four tenths of one percent for a uefacl trophy, while snubbing the fifty percent for making more money, said player is losing money every single season they don't win the uefacl trophy. Every single season. Osimhen based on the article below will make eight hundred and fifty thousand dollars a week. So if he chooses the four tenths of one percent at a wage of one hundred and fifty thousand a week he will be losing compared to the eight hundred and fifty thousand a week he can get at fifty percent odds, circa eighty three percent financial loss a year. 83% financial loss a year is what Osimhen will achieve staying in UEFA.
ARTICLE Victor Osimhen to Al Hilal: Full breakdown of massive contract offered to Super Eagles striker
Story by Chukwu Ikechukwu
Al Hilal has offered Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen a €40m/year salary + €5m in bonuses to join the Saudi Arabian club Napoli has accepted a €75m transfer bid from the Saudi Pro League giants, but Galatasaray are also pushing for a permanent deal Osimhen has returned to Nigeria, where he is set to decide on his future amid massive interest Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is at the centre of a high-stakes transfer battle, with Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal reportedly offering a staggering contract worth €40 million per year, plus €5 million in performance bonuses, to lure the 26-year-old away from Europe.
After an explosive season on loan at Galatasaray, where Osimhen netted 37 goals in 41 matches, the Super Eagles star has become one of the most sought-after strikers in the summer transfer window.
Osimhen was due to return to Napoli after his loan spell in Turkey, but is expected to seal a permanent move away from the Italian giants this summer.
The 26-year-old forward has been linked with several top clubs in Europe, but it seems Galatasaray and Saudi giants are the two clubs most interested in signing the Nigerian forward in this summer’s transfer window.
Now, the ball is in his court as he weighs up his next career move.
A salary deal like no other from Al Hilal Al Hilal’s offer to Osimhen is nothing short of astronomical.
The proposed deal would see Osimhen earn €40 million annually, tax-free, with an additional €5 million in bonuses, potentially pushing his total earnings to €45 million per season.
That breaks down to:
€3.33 million monthly Over €830,000 weekly Roughly €118,000 per day If accepted, Osimhen would become one of the highest-paid African footballers in history, joining the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane in the booming Saudi Pro League.
Napoli agree deal, Galatasaray still in the race Napoli have reportedly accepted Al Hilal’s €75 million transfer bid for Osimhen, clearing the way for a medical and personal terms to be finalised, GOAL reports.
According to the Daily Post, flights and medical bookings have already been arranged by Al Hilal as the Saudi Pro League giants await the approval of the striker.
However, Galatasaray is not giving up. Following Osimhen’s incredible impact last season, the Turkish champions are eager to keep him permanently and are reportedly preparing a salary offer north of €15 million per year to convince him to stay.
Despite the lower financial value compared to Al Hilal’s package, the Turkish side offers UEFA Champions League football and competitive European exposure, which may influence Osimhen’s final decision.
Decision pending as Osimhen returns to Nigeria According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, everything now hinges on Osimhen’s personal decision.
While the paperwork and logistics are in place, Osimhen has yet to give the final go-ahead.
The striker has returned to Nigeria to reflect and consult with his camp.
Boost for Galatasaray in Osimhen race Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Al-Hilal have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Osimhen after receiving no response from the Super Eagles forward, despite boosting their salary offer.
Al-Hilal made an official proposal worth €70 million, including add-ons to Napoli, with the majority of the fee paid in a fixed amount upfront.
They also proposed a salary worth €30 million to the Nigerian forward, but he refused to give a green light even after the offer was improved by €5mil.

Interview with Simone Inzaghi https://alhilal.com/12931
What are your goals with Al-Hilal?
My goals are to try to win as much as possible, to win trophies, because it is the most important thing, and then I hope to apply my way of playing and make the team play in the best way at football. My prospects are to stay a long time to win titles, to win the second star when I win the league for the twentieth time as an important goal.
Everybody in futebol's goal is to win every trophy possible, no one can guarantee anything but everybody wants it all

Rotation is the answer to any fear of thickness in a schedule, but it tests many Scheduling has never been a problem in the beautiful game. As a fan of Brasilian Futebol I can tell you, schedule thickness isn't a problem at all in the beautiful game. A thick schedule has only one remedy, rotation. The problem with rotation are those who are set to lose. Players who want to increase their brand and want to play every game in the season so they are always present when a team wins thus supporting the argument that they must play and sequentially be paid the most, which their agents love plus players who have weak fitness or bad fitness habits break down more often. Coaches who like to play a standard eleven throughout most of the season and don't like the strategic challenges or if 22 can handle the strategy, the tactical changes rotation demands, which shows how flexible a coach is, as most coaches are not flexible. Sponsors who don't want to invest in multiple players as that is more expensive than just one. But, thick schedule just means rotation. One hundred and twenty five million dollars for the winner is what all clubs want, so the clubs are all for it. But coaches better embrace rotation. I think Luis Enrique shows the right mentality, but the squad he has at psg is built to have all twenty two handle the strategy. Unlike a number of teams where the bench players require extreme tactical or moreover strategic changes, like when barca can't play kounde or balde together Flick's strategy has to be changed for the betterment of the squad, not merely a tactical shift.
By GRAHAM DUNBAR Updated 11:00 AM EDT, March 26, 2025 Share GENEVA (AP) — The winner of FIFA’s first 32-team Club World Cup in the United States could earn $125 million as details of a $1 billion prize money fund were finally published Wednesday.
FIFA said it allocated $525 million in guaranteed fees for teams taking part in the June 14-July 13 tournament, ranging from $38.19 million to the top-ranked European team to $3.58 million for the Oceania representative Auckland City.
A further $475 million is earned by results in the 63 games, with $2 million paid for winning group stage games, $7.5 million for playing in the round of 16 and $40 million to the team that wins the final at MetLife Stadium near New York.
The top-ranked European team — likely Real Madrid — that won all its group-stage games and advanced through the knockout rounds to win the title would get to $125 million.
The golden trophy has been sitting in the Oval Office at the White House this month after FIFA President Gianni Infantino delivered it to President Donald Trump, who was invited to present it to the winning captain.
The prize fund was delayed until a global broadcast deal was belatedly agreed in December with streaming service DAZN, which then got a major investment from a state-backed sports agency in Saudi Arabia. Fans can watched games for free on DAZN’s website.
Saudi Arabia also was confirmed in December by FIFA as host of the men’s 2034 World Cup.
Each of the 12 European teams in the Club World Cup lineup will be paid at least $12.81 million as an entry fee for the first expanded edition of the four-yearly tournament. Payments will be decided by “a ranking based on sporting and commercial criteria,” FIFA said without providing details.
Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea also qualified by either winning a Champions League title from 2021 to 2024, or having consistent results in the competition over those four seasons.
Countries were capped at two entries, unless they had three Champions League winners. Salzburg of Austria qualified as the final European team, despite never advancing beyond the round of 16, because higher-ranked clubs like Liverpool and Barcelona were blocked by the country cap.
The six South American teams each will get a $15.21 million entry fee.
Teams from Africa, Asia and the CONCACAF region of North America — including Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami, despite not winning the MLS Cup title last season — each will get $9.55 million for playing. Any team from these regions that wins the title will earn less than $100 million.
Leon of Mexico is currently contesting its removal from the competition by FIFA because it is in shared ownership with Pachuca which also qualified.
FIFA aims to share $250 million among clubs worldwide who did not qualify for the tournament. It is unclear how many clubs will be paid, or how much they will get.
The maximum prize of $125 million ranks below the English Premier League and UEFA’s Champions League in soccer’s prize money table.
Man City got 176 million pounds ($227 million) in prize money from the Premier League for winning the title last season.
In the 2022-23 Champions League prize list, the most recent published by UEFA, title-winning Man City got almost 135 million euros ($146 million). The competition’s total prize fund has now risen by almost 25% for each season through 2027.
UEFA will pay out close to 2.5 billion euros ($2.7 billion) among the 36 teams in the new expanded format that guaranteed eights games played instead of six.
The $1 billion Club World Cup prize pot is, however, more than double the $440 million FIFA shared among the 32 soccer federations whose teams played at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Sponsors who signed with FIFA for the club event in the two highest commercial tiers also have deals for the men’s 2026 World Cup in the U.S. which will be co-hosted by Canada and Mexico.

PSG have been handed a serious blow before the Club World Cup as Ousmane Dembélé (28) pulled out of the France national team squad after sustaining a quadriceps injury. The French FA announced on Friday that Dembélé had undergone medical exams that showed a quadriceps strain. Le Parisien reports that the seriousness of the injury should mean that the Champions League Player of the Season is set to miss PSG’s three group stage games at the Club World Cup.
The outlet understands that such an injury generally means a 2-week absence, and that does not take into account further days of recovery to pick up the pace in collective team training. The timing and nature of the injury indicate that Dembélé won’t be able to feature for Les Parisiens against Atlético de Madrid (June 15), Botafogo (June 20), and Seattle Sounders (June 23). The outlet understands that PSG have no intention of signing a striker who would compensate for Dembélé’s injury. URL https://sports.yahoo.com/article/ousmane-demb-l-set-miss-174100654.html

Well, of france/italy/germany/england/spain
france in forty years is always the youngest
italy in forty years is always the oldest
england in forty years is always the richest
spain in forty years is always the media darling
germany in forty years is always a little of each
From a fiscal view, italy will love the positive media attention to modric+ KDB, two white players, beloved by media in uefa, will bring some attention, all three must be rotated in games and with the bench all season . none have the speed required for a high press/possess system. each are liabilities against opponents with certain types of players in the midfield.

Black on Black crimes : John Obi Mikel + Jay Jay Okocha toward Victor Osimhen
John Obi Mikel + Jay Jay Okocha think Osimhen shouldn't play for an Al Ahli or Al Hilal or other competitive team in Saudi Arabia and win all trophies in back to back seasons while making more money than he could any where in UEFA. That is a black on black crime. Osimhen can be one of the highest paid players in the world and Black former players want him to go against that for the purpose of guiding young CAF players to UEFA. I realize that Osimhen has become a center piece of the war between UEFA side AFC . CAF, whose peoples are UEFAphiles, has historically, been UEFA's bitch and peddled players into UEFA. But it is 2025. If more and more CAF players or UEFA players with CAF ancestry, leave UEFA, it will change the role UEFA has in the collective consciousness of CAF. I argue it is time for CAF players to jump ship from UEFA.

Inside the NBA
Inside the NBA didn't survive because Disney who owns ESPN felt it needed it. Inside the NBA survived because Discovery channel that owns Warner bros that owns TNT applied a lawsuit against the NBA who made an error in their contract. yes, not only football players, multibillion dollar firms make bad contracts.
Disney made the biggest bid, bigger than the discovery channel, but the NBA contract with TNT says that if TNT can make an equal bid based on a set of conditions NBA must accept TNT's bid.
Disney did make a bigger bid overall, but the NBA's lawyers failed to add streaming as a condition of a bid. Minus streaming TNT's bid is equal to ESPN. So Discovery took the NBA to court. The NBA settled out of court, and Disney's big wins, but the show Disney had planned for the NBA , is now cancelled for a continuation of Inside the NBA which will air on ESPN but will be a TNT production.

Well...
Thuram/Mbappe
Barcola/Doue/olise/Dembele
work but what of defense?
I don't see a back four
I see a diamond backfield
Tchouameni
Kalulu/Bade/Konate
Mike Maignon
Thuram is a dominant big man, a rare thing, use him. Mbappe isn't the best striker france have, but he is the best goal scorer, have him float around thuram for drop downs, passes from the big man.
Barcola+ Dembele are the best dribblers out wide france have. Doue 's dribble is best centrally, with his little movements and olise can support him and is similar.
But this two lines don't track back and require defense first players who act like proper defenders under duress also have the athleticism for being under 2v1 scenarios which will occur. The key will be how much doue+ olise track back and support in midfield with the diamond back field flatten as well as how mbappe move about in a foil position.

Lorena Rivas [LINK] asked is it too soon
My Answer
Vincent Kompany relegated a team and was awarded bayern who just won the bundesliga. no it isn't too soon . But the issue is never time, but the project and the environment of the move.
First Inzaghi, it seems inzaghi put himself on a schedule, and in that time won serie a /coppa/two uefacl finalist appearahces. He spent five seasons at Lazio, four at Inter Milan. So, Inzaghi gave himself time.
Second Inter Milan, was media hammered by that final, the fact that inter milan is the most consistent uefacl team in the past three seasons was irrelevant. what mattered in media is, they lost 5-0 to psg with a spanish coach and a unmarketable squad so media enjoyed 2024-2025 psg in many ways and in reverse heckled inter milan to death.
So, while Inzaghi may have planned five season, the sourness of the moment made it easy to leave for Al hilal whose former coach Jorge Jesus had a similar inability at the confederations tournament for al hilal.
So Inter Milan's last coach inzaghi, coached in serie a in a team that did very well, that being lazio. So Inter Milan is thinking, the coach most like that currently is Fabregas at Como. Now the good news is Zanetti is the sporting director. He has been brilliant in my opinion. He doesn't judge by age, he judges players by their workout ethic, thier playing mentality. He knows inter milan's financial situation. So, Zanetti can build a squad that can work with fabregas's styling. I saw Fabregas's como... alot of running between pitch phases, I think inter milan will have to become younger on average for cesc strategies to work. Older players can not run up and down for ninety, you have to play counter attack or play a no nonsense possession system, not possession through pressing but literally patient possession. Zanetti + Fabregas also saw what happened to Thiago Motta for juve who talked like Xabi ALonso going to real madrid and it blew up in Motta's face. The good news is fabregas in chelsea or monaco showed he can play in the counter attack systems, not merely the possession systems and i think as a coach, he is honest enough to adjust to the situation. The problem with many former players is they never liked certain systems as players and try to coach only the systems they liked, not the best system a squad will need regardles of whether they like it or not.
In Conclusion, it isn't too soon. Inzaghi did excellent in four seasons and while media will focus on his last match for inter milan, Inter Milan in the Zanetti sporting director era, with various owners, has shown how to build coaches and squads together and be more consistent than any other team in serie a. So, Fabregas or any other new coach coming in will come with an adjustment to the overall plan.

So do barca keep Garcia/Szeney/Ter Stegen for next season? if szeney or ter stegen leave say what club.
I argue Barca will have all three, cause if I own a football club I am not buying szeney or ter stegen. why? Szeney is old, not long term, and his overall history is poor. One season with barca in a collective good form doesn't mean he will be good for another club. Ter Stegen is coming off of injury and may get injured again and is rusty and is over thirty. Unless I owe barca for some financial assist which happens between administrations, I want nothing to do with szeney or ter stegen
