Colmena or "Hive" (2024) by Gustavo Medina Tanco plus a team of 200 students, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). This will be the first Mexican mission to the moon, carried aboard Astrobotic's Peregrine Lunar Lander launched on January 8th 2024, arriving on February 23rd. "The COLMENA Project, or “hive” in English, will involve a self-organized swarm of five robots, each weighing less than 60 grams and measuring just 12 centimeters in diameter, each equipped with a small solar panel. Inside the robots is a single, flexible PCB containing power conditioning, control, communications, monitoring, interface connector, arming and tripping, trip mechanism and grounding and bonding subsystems. The robots will autonomously navigate themselves to achieve electrical connectivity by joining their panels together to make a larger solar panel. The project will demonstrate how feasible it may be to build structures on planetary surfaces with robot swarms." – UNAM researchers to send micro-robots to the moon, The Robot Report, Brianna Wessling.

UPDATE: The Peregrine Lander began venting fuel soon after launch, making it difficult for Astrobotic to stabilise the spacecraft. The resulting loss of fuel means that it cannot attempt a moon landing.

Qué onda, my name is Valeria Contreras de la Cruz. I'm 20 years old and I'm from Mexico City, born and bred, de México pa'l mundo!!! I was bitten by a radioactive spider one Friday night while I was partying out with my friends. From that day on, I've been the one and only Spider Woman (or La Maravillosa Mujer Araña for locals!!!).

I have two great and very loving parents, my loyal and furry cat friend Shiro and I'm an only child. I'm currently studying to be a Vet at the most prestigious public university in the country, UNAM. It's hard to get by sometimes, so I picked up a gig at my local OXXO. It's great because I get special prices on exclusive Axxo merch and everybody loves me and has posters of me hung up on the walls! (they don't know it's ACTUALLY me though!)

I was shamelessly betrayed by who I thought to be my true love, Roberto Castañedas. He meant everything to me. The breakup was pretty bad... To say the least. -is shown eating a giant tub of ice cream while crying and watching a romantic movie-

I've promised to defend and look after this city... And make sure nobody gets hurt the way I did.

This is one of my favourite episodes of Ed, Edd n'Eddy, I was very curious when Double Dee was taking care of Ed, although it started as a platonic taste, today it will become a reality friends, I'm going to study Medicine! 🥺😭 Thanks to everyone for all the support I received and to the people who gave me their best wishes during the time I was away due to my entrance exam. March 13, 2024 | King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) on Day 2 of Sweden's state visit to Mexico. The university has over 350,000 students and is ranked in the top hundred list of the world's best universities. Upon arrival, the university's headmaster, Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas, received the King and Queen. After a presentation of the university and the signing of a cooperation agreement between the physics departments at UNAM and the University of Gothenburg, the King and Queen met a group of Mexican students studying Swedish.
