Oct - Dec 2023 Devil May Cry News Updates: Peak of Combat, Teasers, Rumours, Etc.
Tumblr media
Happy New Year, everyone! Hope you all had a SSSmokin' SSSexy SSStylin' holiday. Here's hoping this year brings more Devil May Cry goodness. Here are the rest of 2023's news updates on what's happening with Devil May Cry.
1. Capcom is getting stingy about mods. b) So stingy in fact that they're taking down Youtube vids of mods in their games.
2. Gamescom interview about Peak of Combat. b) And more content from the game such as dev notes, gamepad support, new character reveals, official OSTs, and release date.
3. Another Devil May Cry expansion for the mobile game Teppen.
4. Devil May Cry V has sold over 7 million units.
5. A small glimpse on what's in store for the Netflix series.
6. Former Devil May Cry director Hideki Kamiya talks at the Archipel Caravan Festival in Tokyo about DMC1's development, with former Resident Evil director/producer Shinji Mikami (can't find the video, so this link will have to do).
7. Dante's and Nero's face models Adam Cowie and Karlo Baker tease us with a little future Devil May Cry news.
8. Rumours of Dante appearing in Fortnite anytime soon due to a loading screen speculation, and some infamous leaker.
My Thoughts On These Updates:
It's really too bad what Capcom thinks of mods. I get it when it comes to inappropriate eye candy and overpowering everything to make things easy, but they need to realize that mods aren't just about those. Mods are also a way of building a community of like-minded and talented individuals, and they should also think of mods as some form of resume if they're looking for more people to work on their team to make games.
2. It's really cool that the dev team of Peak of Combat got Casey Edwards and Victor Borba to be a part of their OST, and cool what other features are in the game. But it's really too bad on the direction the devs have gone on it. Ads are popping up on their profiles like weeds (especially outrageous ones), they're not very clear with their direction on the game (including their official release dates. I've lost count how many release dates they've had now), and they've pretty much stopped listening to feedback from the fans on what can be improved on it overall. Found a former mod member of the game talking about their negative experience on working with them.
3 and 4. That's cool that Teppen gets another Devil May Cry expansion, and how Devil May Cry V sold more copies.
5. So we've got our first glimpse of Lady, and a little more in the Netflix series. I still have my high curiosities and being cautiously optimistic on what's in store for it. Fingers crossed that it doesn't turn out like Castlevania did after season 1.
6. It's interesting how Kamiya and Mikami left their own companies, and the process of their career journey throughout the years. I wish them luck on their next endeavor.
7. So I guess we may or may not get a Devil May Cry 6 announcement anytime soon?
8. If it's true that Dante will be appearing in Fortnite, that would be cool. But sadly I'm not a Fortnite fan, and him being in the game won't convince me to play it. But I will have no problem seeing what he looks like and how he plays on Youtube.

Lyme disease is an illness caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted through the bite of an infected black-legged tick. The disease has been reported in all 50 states and more than 80 countries. All ages are affected, but children aged 3-14 are most at risk, with 200 new cases every day. Early diagnosis and treatment are the keys to combating the disease. The Global Lyme Alliance (GLA) is also helping combat the disease with their annual New York City Gala. This year’s ceremony was hosted by FOX 5 Good Day New York co-anchor, Lori Stokes, at Cipriani 42nd Street. The gala raised over $2 million. The money supports the GLA’s mission to advance scientific research leading to a reliable diagnostic test, improved treatment options, and ultimately, find a cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. Ramona Singer and Erin Walker were honored at the gala while the audience was treated to a show-stopping performance by Tony Award-winning Broadway and television star Sutton Foster.
Erin and Ramona both addressed the crowd in emotional testimonies of their experiences with Lyme and their dedication to raising awareness for finding a cure for this insidious disease. Jimmy Walker spoke to the crowd by way of video, thanking GLA and congratulating Erin. Singer Avril Lavigne recorded a special video message for the crowd, which was shown, announcing that she has officially accepted the invitation to join GLA’s Board of Directors, as well as details of the new strategic partnership between The Avril Lavigne Foundation and GLA. Avril’s new single, “Head Above Water,” is about her personal struggle with Lyme disease. Other evening highlights included a surprise performance by the Big Apple Circus and a menu inspired by Drew Nieporent of Myriad Restaurant Group, with sushi courtesy of Nobu.
The GLA gala was produced by co-chair and celebrated event producer Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events, who donated his event planning and design services towards the Global Lyme Alliance’s New York Gala for the fourth consecutive year. Showcasing his unique commitment to philanthropic causes, the spectacular and one-of-a-kind gala was an evening to remember for invited celebrities, business leaders, and top scientists alike. When asked about the inspiration for this year’s decor, Scott told us, “I went for more of a natural look, so you will find topiary and ferns mixed with lantern and tree lamps. The combination gives it more of earthy and glamorous look.” Scott also shared some holiday tips, saying, “The holidays to me are always about comfortableness and homeliness, but make it glamorous. Don’t hold back, the economy is great. If you’re making lasagna for two, make it for eight and share”.
Past GLA Gala honoree Yolanda Hadid spoke to guests about her Lyme journey and introduced a short video that illustrates the impact Lyme can have on one’s entire family.
The event was also attended by reality stars, Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Kat Cunning and actor Chris Jones; philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, health and wellness influencers, Amie Valpone, Jacqueline Sposito, Adrienne Nolan, Jordan Younger, and freestyle soccer player, Skye Cowie.
The Co-Chairs for the event included celebrity event producer, Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events, Joseph Abboud, celebrated menswear designer and author; Charles Balducci, co-founder, Snyder/Balducci Group, Merrill Lynch; Chris Corrinet, senior VP, CBRE; Robert Kobre, vice chairman, Credit Suisse; Jarrod Nadel, chief product development officer, Tailored Brands, Inc.; Drew Nieporent, owner, Myriad Restaurant Group; and Peter Norley, COO, Credit Suisse Securities.
Honorary Event Chairs included Jay McInerney, Jim Miller, Mary Beth Pfeiffer, Mike Schneider, Victor Slezak, and Marisol and Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty.
Platinum Sponsors included Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events, Big Apple Circus, Credit Suisse, Nancy, and Bob Del Genio, David Nolan Foundation, Tailored Brands, and Withersworldwide.

Moveable bridge installed at Canary Wharf
The deck of a moveable bridge has been installed in Canary Wharf following a 36-hour voyage across the North Sea from its fabrication site in Belgium.
The 28-metre single-leaf bascule bridge will provide a road and pedestrian link between Montgomery Square and Canary Wharf’s new district, Wood Wharf.
Designed by engineers COWI, Knight Architects and Eadon Consulting, the bridge was manufactured by Victor Buyck Steel Construction for client Canary Wharf Contractors.
Twin hydraulic cylinders underneath the eastern end of the steel span will raise the deck to allow large vessels to pass and only in this raised position will the bridge reveal its steel structure and mechanical parts.
COWI engineer Vlad Opanasiuk said: “As intended, it looks like a simple design – but there is nothing simple about this bridge.
“Both the substructure and superstructure required bespoke structural details to achieve the understated appearance envisaged by the architects.
“The deck needs to be light enough to be raised but strong enough to support the crossing vehicles and pedestrians.
“We therefore selected an orthotropic steel deck solution, which is lighter and more flexible than a concrete one, significantly reducing the power required to raise it.
“To create an open space for pedestrians, the bridge has a relatively wide deck. To provide the necessary torsional stiffness and a visually clean soffit, the main longitudinal girders, which run along the edges of the deck, are tapering closed box sections.
“It’s been a fascinating project to work on. Solving complex engineering challenges to bring brilliant designs like this to reality is what makes being an engineer so rewarding.”
The bridge’s location also posed a challenge.
COWI engineer and project manager Musa Chunge said: “The Jubilee Line runs below the waterway and parallel to the bridge so we worked closely with Canary Wharf and TFL to develop a safe piled foundation design for the bridge abutments and the marine causeway that forms the eastern approach.”

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (July 27, 2018) – As part of the redesigned Saratoga Wine and Food Festival, both of the ultra-rare, $40-million-plus 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantics will be together on site at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for the first time in more than 15 years. The Atlantics will be part of the 2018 International Bugatti Tour taking place in Saratoga Springs, in which there will be more than 80 Bugattis ranging from classic to modern-day models. This is the first time the tour has taken place in the United States in nearly a decade, and the first time ever in New York State. Considered the “Mona Lisa” of automobiles, the Type 57SC Atlantic is considered among the very best of pre-war Europe. Jean Bugatti, the son of Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti, created the Aérolithe concept, making its debut in Paris in 1935. It was well-before its time, made out of a light but flammable magnesium alloy called Elektron; therefore the body panels were riveted externally. Beneath the body was a new chassis (T57) and a new double overhead-cam engine, making the Aérolithe the most advanced car of its time. After the Aérolithe show car, Bugatti only produced four supercharged Atlantic coupes using aluminum instead of magnesium while keeping the rivets. Powered by supercharged 3,257 cc inline-8 engines, these 170-plus horsepower cars could do north of 120 m.p.h. Today, two cars remain. One belongs to the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxford, Ca. and the other is owned by fashion mogul Ralph Lauren. The last time both vehicles were together was at the 2003 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. The Atlantics’ appearance was made possible through the American Bugatti Club, Alan Rosenblum, and the Saratoga Automobile Museum. The Mullin Atlantic: It was delivered to Lord Victor Rothschild in England on Sept. 2, 1936. Three years later, in 1939, Mr. Rothschild had the Bugatti factory install a Roots supercharger from a Type 55 engine, upgrading the model to a Type 57SC. Having blown up the engine, he nevertheless kept the car in storage in England until 1941, when he sold it to his countryman Mr. T.P. Tunnard Moore. Mr. Moore and Robert Arbuthnot, a sometime racer at Brooklands, were partners at High Speed Motors of London. At some point, Mr. Moore sold the car to Arbuthnot, who in turn sold it in to Rodney Clarke of Continental Cars, Ltd., in 1944. A year later, Mr. Clarke sold the Type 57SC to Mr. Robert Oliver, a wealthy American doing duty in France as a member of the US Army Medical Corps. In August 1946, Mr. Oliver had 57374 shipped to the United States, where he received it in New York and proceeded to drive it home to Los Angeles. In 1953, Mr. Oliver shipped the car back to the Bugatti factory, where its engine was completely rebuilt and the correct Type 57SC supercharger and hydraulic brakes were installed. Following Mr. Oliver’s passing the Atlantic was sold in 1971 through public auction to Dr. Peter Williamson who paid an unprecedented $59,000. Following refurbishment, the car was shown at Pebble Beach in 2003 and won “Best in Show”. In 2010 the Williamson family sold the Atlantic to a buyer from whom the car is graciously on loan. The Lauren Atlantic: It was ordered by English barrister Richard B. Pope, who was also an amateur tennis champion. Great Britain was Bugatti’s best export market, and Pope was the company’s most devoted British customer. The Atlantic was his tenth Bugatti, as he ordered a new model whenever they came out. The most distinctive feature of its almost sinister body is the exposed seams with button head rivets running down the spine and around the fenders. This construction technique came about because the magnesium alloy used in an earlier Bugatti models was problematic to weld. Although the Atlantic’s aluminum body presented no such obstacle, designer Jean Bugatti retained the riveted seams for aesthetic reasons. Revered Bugatti historian Hugh Conway found the Atlantic “extraordinary, bizarre and interesting, but not perhaps beautiful in any normal sense.” The car is, in its essence, a fluid natural form to which Jean Bugatti deftly added his own flamboyant touches. Ralph Lauren purchased the vehicle in 1988, in which it underwent a restoration from 1989 to 1991. “Hosting the only two Atlantic cars in the world – which haven’t been together in 15 years – on our grounds at Saratoga Performing Arts Center is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our community and for lovers of fine cars from around the globe to experience their beauty. These rare and exquisite automobiles represent a significant piece of history that will shine against the backdrop of our park’s opulent reflecting pool, set within the Roosevelt Campus of the Spa State Park,” said Elizabeth Sobol, president & CEO of Saratoga Performing Arts Center. “We are grateful to the American Bugatti Club, Alan Rosenblum and the Saratoga Automobile Museum for making this exceptional viewing possible.” “There are occasions in one’s life that can be considered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Having these two Bugatti Atlantics together for the first time in 15 years is truly an incredible opportunity for not just Saratoga Springs but for all of New York State. My thanks to Alan Rosenblum and the American Bugatti Club for making this fantasy become reality,” said Carly Connors, executive director of the Saratoga Automobile Museum. “Securing the second Atlantic is huge for us. We’ve revamped the festival on so many levels, and having this addition completes the experience in the best way. We are looking forward to being the first event to host these two iconic Bugattis together for the first time in 15 years. It’s safe to say that guests are in for a thrilling and magical weekend,” said Colin Cowie of Colin Cowie Lifestyle. Held in the beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park, the weekend is anchored by four events: an Adirondack Road Tour and Luncheon, Friday’s Fired Up! Grill Competition with Chef David Burke and Red Sox legend David Ortiz, Saturday’s Grand Tasting and—for the first time— brunch with Colin Cowie and Todd English. Football Freestyle Skills 2017 HD ft. messi , neymar, pogba, ronaldo, marcelo etc The free style of football, also known as freestyle football in North America, is the art of expressing yourself with a soccer ball while performing different tricks with any part of the body. It is similar in style to Keepie Uppie, Kemari and the bald discipline of rhythmic gymnastics. It has become a popular sport around the world and is practiced by many people. The official governing body of this sport is known as the Freestyle Football Federation. Freestyle football has existed since the beginning of the 20th century [5], but has become popular thanks to global advertising campaigns and the exchange of digital media. At the beginning of the 21st century, Nike launched an advertising campaign based largely on the form of freestyle football, which includes freestyle performance video clips. The videos are called Yoga Bonito, which means "Beautiful Work". These ads include famous players such as Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Edgar Davids. Many associate this media attention with the beginning of freestyle fury. However, in the YouTube era, unprecedented players have come to the fore, and Internet searches easily provide thousands of videos of freestyle enthusiasts around the world. [6] Some of the most notable freestylers: Hee Young Woo (M. Freestyle Pioneers [modifier] Several freestylers have influenced the various styles within freestyle football, including Rickard 'Palle' Sholander, nicknamed the 'godfather of the airspace'. Palle has designed many tricks of the lower body, now used by many freestylers. Palle's progress in freestyle of the lower body has been improved by Pawel Skóra of Poland. Since 2010, the progression of the lower body freestyle led by a group of about 10 "pushing limits", including Pawel Skóra MP Hasip Ars Mirko Gunther, Akim, LKR, Ethan, memos and more. The film In the hands of the gods promotes the free style of football. The film took five men (Mikey Fisher, Paul Wood, Sami Hall, Danny Lynch and Jeremy Robinson) in a trip of his life looking for the best soccer player of all time Diego Maradona. The film was the biggest release of a documentary in the United Kingdom, the fourth in the world when it was presented during the premiere weekend screens, it was presented at the Cannes Film Festival and was very successful. red carpet first Leicester Square that was Green Astroturf for kids Football Freestyle ,Skills 2017 HD ft. messi , neymar, pogba, ronaldo, marcelo etcfootball freestyle, neymar jr, cristiano ronaldo, neymar freestyle, cristiano ronaldo freestyle, football skills, football skills 2017, football skills tutorial, football freestyle videos download football freestyle tutorial, freestyle football skills, freestyle football tricks, freestyle soccer tricks videos, freestyle football game, best soccer freestyler, street football skills video download, Vk : http://ift.tt/2AmMopU Reddit : http://ift.tt/2j40Wqf Pinterest : http://ift.tt/2AmMoWW Tumblr : http://ift.tt/2j830NT http://ift.tt/2Alrwzj subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcYU4h2KNRiCpaBzxuWpfZg?view_as=subscriber website : http://ift.tt/2j9mrpW
