29th and 30th July and 1st August 2024 will see the three events that comprise Boonta Eve Special Edition in California this Summer, and the events now have a title sponsor - Hyperspace Props. The Virtual Cantina Network, owners of the World’s Largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page areproud to announce that Hyperspace Props, a 501st Garrison approved vendor has signed on to be the Title Sponsor of Boonta Eve Special Edition this Summer in California. Based out of Rigby, ID, Hyperspace Props started by trying to simply make costumes and props for themselves to join the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Mandalorian Mercs. After investing so much time, they wanted to give back to the amazing Star Wars community and help others by providing props that were not available or that were difficult to source or create. Dawn Dininger is known for her role as the prisoner Rodian in the “Book of Boba Fett” as well as the mom Rodian and the oboe playing Bith. She has puppeteered various characters in the Mandalorian series including Lt Beyta and Lt Mowaat in “Ahsoka”, and a Desk Jockey and Rodian Customer in “The Mandalorian”. The highlight being a part of the Grogu puppeteering team. Besides the Star Wars franchise, she has appeared as Monster Marie in “One Mised Call” worked as a fabricator on such films as “Ted 2”, “Wolverine Origins”, “Suicide Squad”, “Captain America: Civil War” and much more. TaMara Carlson-Woodard is a Los Angeles-based practical creature effects artist and performer, specialty costumer, and puppeteer. Since 2018, she has worked in a galaxy far, far away as a puppeteer and suit performer on “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett” where she appeared as everyone's favorite blue, keyboard-playing Ortolan, Max Rebo. TaMara is also part of the Emmy Award-winning team from Legacy Effects that brought Grogu (aka “Baby Yoda”) to life via fabrication and puppeteering. Additionally, she contributed to the creation and performances of Frog Lady, the Gamorrean Guards, and countless background creatures and droids. The Virtual Cantina Network, owners of the World’s Largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page, are proud to announce C. Andrew Nelson will be making an appearance at Boonta Eve Special Edition San Francisco: Creators of the Star Wars Universe on 1 August, 2024 at Ireland’s 32 in San Francisco, CA. Andrew spent six years at LucasArts Entertainment Company where he was a VFX supervisor and senior artist. Nelson's credits at LucasArts include Star Wars: Dark Forces, Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire, , Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Curse of Monkey Island, Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.  Following his time at LucasArts, Andrew joined ILM where he was a compositor, rotoscoper, matte painter, and texture artist. His work at ILM includes “Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace” and “Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones” amongst other films. Jeryl most recently appeared as Aktropaw the Night Sister in Disney +’s “Ahsoka”. She also appeared as Jacqui in Season 1 of “The Walking Dead, Cherry in “Ray Donovan”, Madame Xanadu in “Swamp Thing. A well respected member of the Stunts community, Dickey Beer is know for being the stunt Boba Fett in “Return of the Jedi”. He also appeared as a Stormtrooper, a Biker Scout, Barada, and Sargent Junkin in “Jedi” as well. Other notable films he performed stunts for include “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”, “ Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, “The Avengers”, “Starship Troopers”, and “Superman 3”.
