XBLAZE: Remaster/Remake Idea Poll

Here's gameplay of the two XBLAZE Games to give you an idea of what they are and how they play (They're both Visual Novel Games, but Lost Memories adds "Dungeon" segments);
youtube
youtube
==============================
Explanations for choices;
Include an English Dub (Dual Audio): Adds an Engligh Dub alongside the Japanese Audio.
More Anime Cutscenes: Adds more Anime Cutscenes outside of the Opening Movie. An example could be Es' introduction scene where it can be animated instead of CG Illustrations and Story Portraits.
Add a "Third" Game to the Duology: Adds a new XBLAZE Game along with the two existing ones, similar to .Hack//G.U Last Recode's exclusive .hack//G.U. Vol 4//Reconnection chapter.
Expand Parts of the Story: Include additional story scenes to answer questions or reveal more that the original two games couldn't do (or believe didn't clarify enough).
Include Bonus BlazBlue DSi/3DS Games: Based from an earlier Hypothetical Collection Poll, include BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale and/or BlazBlue: Clone Phantasma as bonus games you can play.
Simplified TOi System for XBLAZE: Code Embryo: Make the TOi System easier to understand or use to get better use out of it for Story Progression in XBLAZE: Code Embryo.
More Challenge to XBLAZE: Lost Memories Phantom Field Segments: Make the Adventure Sections in XBLAZE: Lost Memories a bit more challenging. For example, the monsters can actually hurt "Me"/Konoe beyond stunning her and their are more hazards. If you die, you'll be booted back to the start of the area you are in or forced to reload your last save.
Dialogue Options for XBLAZE: Code Embryo: Replace the TOi Mechanic with a traditional Dialogue Tree Option to decide routes and endings in XBLAZE: Code Embryo.
Add a Mini-Game Mode: Add Mini-Games based on the XBLAZE Cast. Just a fun bonus mode. Like fighting Unions as Es, Cooking as Hinata, do science stuff as Unomaru or punching training dummies as Drei.
Remix the Soundtrack: Remix the songs and music, similar to what BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma did when it remixed the character themes for the Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift Roster.
Add an 'Elise Route' for XBLAZE: Code Embryo: Add a new story route featuring Elise von Klagen for XBLAZE: Code Embryo. While Kuon is meant to be the heroine to expand on Ishana, Elise could add more to it, although the diviation point would be during the Es/Hinata Route.
Add an Adaptation of BlazBlue: Bloodedge Experience: Adapt the BlazBlue: Bloodedge Experience Light Novel as an extra Gaiden Game.
Here's a Video Example of how the Mini-Game Mode Idea would work and how the DS BlazBlue games play;

Annon-Guy: I was wondering that if you played them, what are your thoughts on the XBLAZE Games?
Secondly, what do you think of it's five main protagonists? Touya Kagari, Es (Her XBLAZE self), Hinata Himezuru, Mei Amanohokosaka and Kuon Glared Stroheim?
I actually *own* both Code Embryo and Lost Memories on my PS3 Digital Library, though I haven't played them in years.
Vaguely speaking, the Xblaze "games" were the first time I seriously dipped my toes in to the Visual Novel Genre (aside Guilty Gear's Story Modes which are a derivative of the concept, early on).
From a somewhat casual perspective, I understand what Xblaze was trying to achieve, though I'd argue that other VNs have had much better execution and story-telling on the whole.
Still, being "part" of the BlazBlue universe did strike me as interesting, though I never did revisit the games for that purpose.
If I had the opportunity to play a full version of Dark War, I might have taken Xblaze in to deeper consideration on the story-telling front.
For Touya (when I learned about Dark War, his character arc's importance increased immensely... for reasons I won't spoil here.)
At the same time Touya reminds me of Naoto and his "Bloodedge Experience", though in Touya's case, he's a bit more passive compared to either Ragna or Naoto, which makes him less appealing in my humble opinion.
Es has two incarnations... the Es we "see" from Touya's perspective, and the Es we "see" in Lost Memories after a certain event occurs... I think her character development is something to witness if you haven't already. I actually really enjoyed that aspect of her, including how she later interacts with the Central Fiction cast.
Hinata, while her role in the story is no less important, is something of an odd-fit for the pacing of the story. We learn her secret along the way, but the way she behaves for much of the story implies she's very passive, much like Touya.
While it's true that Peace is always better than Conflict, when it comes to telling a story with drama, you at least need a character with some form of drive... Hinata would easily be mistaken for a background character if not for one key detail I won't mention.
I'm not really sure what they were trying to do with Mei, but I get that her "role" in some parts of the story fits in a grander history, so I guess that's something... But it's very easy to compare her to Rachel Alucard in that regard, and you either like her or you hate her for that reason.
Lastly, Kuon... I feel like Kuon could've used more screen-time for her parts of the story. She was a cool character, and a cool voice actress all things considered... but she just didn't get to be part of the story as much as the other characters did (though I assume they didn't want Kuon to upstage Es, but I think Kuon would've made a great rival for Es if written differently).
All things considered, I actually spent more time in Lost Memories than I did the original Code Embryo, so I'm not all that familiar with all the hidden routes in the story... I might revisit it one day if I get the urge, we'll see.

I'm very curious about Xblaze. I have the chance to get both Visual Novels but I don't know if they are good enough. I value your opinion, since you are "in the know" when it comes to everything Blazblue. What do you think? Are they worth it?
Lost: Memories is worth it, but Code: Embryo kinda isn’t since nearly all of its events are in L:M.
You get to learn more about Celica, Nine, and Es. The story is alright and there’s a lot stuff to watch/play. It’s not a game you can just get through in one or two sittings.

Annon-Guy: I personally would like to see it happen, but would you like to see a PS4 Compelation for XBlaze? Aside having both Code Embryo and Lost Memories, I think it would benefit with an English Dub, along with Eden Riegel reprising her role as Es from BBTAG.
not too invested in XBlaze. I personally consider the Es from CF and BBTAG to be a separate character entirely. But it is highly unlikely it’ll be dubbed. It did really poor and people aren’t fans of it for just being a stupid generic visual novel game from what I’ve read.

Annon-Guy: In regards to this poll I sent you, what do you think of the games I chose for the Guilty Gear and XBLAZE/BlazBlue Options? Think these would work in Compilation Games?
Guilty Gear: Guilty Gear Judgement (and by extension Guilty Gear X2 since's it bundled with Judgement without it's Story Mode Component), Guilty Gear Petit, Guilty Gear Petit 2, Guilty Gear Isuka, Guilty Gear Raid of Arms and Pro Jumper! Guilty Gear Tangent!?
XBLAZE + BlazBlue: XBLAZE CODE: EMBRYO, XBLAZE LOST: MEMORIES, BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale and BlazBlue: Clone Phantasma
https://www.tumblr.com/annon-guy2/755360705613545472/potential-collectioncompilation-game-poll?source=share
Bloody Roar/Beastorizor Collection (up to Konami, actually) Treasure Collection (up to Treasure)
Both of these are on my wishlist (I also wish Dodonpachi had a compilation collection, anything shootemup related by Cave really…)
Also, speaking of Treasure, I've got my eyes on Ubusuna which is supposedly coming out either this or next year and is a spiritual sequel to Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun. (Also Mischief Makers and Silhouette Mirage technically...)
I doubt there will ever be a perfect Guilty Gear collection because of Guilty Gear X port problems, which I've mentioned in an older post.
As for Xblaze, no idea, Lost Memories already contains a "recap" of the events of Code Embryo though, so there's that.
I kinda wish BlazBlue Dark War got a Visual Novel adaptation at least, or even just a Light Novelization.
