some speculation from aventurine’s trailer i don’t think i’ve seen discussed on here

the trailer may be implying that his time as a slave was televised. the period where he had to kill all the other slaves, possibly even when he killed his master. since his battle with the dreamtroupe is televised in front of a stadium of people, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that it’s intended to parallel his time as a slave.

we already know that’s what happened in taikiyan. exiles started fighting and, unknowingly recorded by and live-streamed to the IPC officials via cameras, inspired Taikiyan Roboball. to suggest that aventurine’s time as a slave was televised like the hunger games wouldn’t be a far fetched suggestion
