BOM London Matinee 26/11/22
Tom Xander, Ross Carpenter and Nicole-Lily Baisden's last matinee (see attached cast list)
Dom is back!!!!!!
(Also, got myself a last min ticket to the evening performance)
Not a massive muck-up or anything like that, but the cast were extra.
Here are the highlights that I remember:
There was alot of flirting with Price. Alot of the ensemble - Ugandans and Mormons - were flirting with him. There was a fair bit of touching Price's arm.
When Price and Cunningham were introduced to Naba Price tried to flirt by giving her a little finger wave, but she ignored him and waved at Arnold.
Arnold didn't understand personal boundaries - like at all - he was stroking his dad's chest in the airport scene
Arnold was walking around with the Nesquick milkshake cartoon and his dad snatched it from him and shoved it back into his mum's hands
When Arnold said "I'm finally going to have a best friend", rather than making a choking sob Arnold's mum (Jack O'Niell) clutched her hand to her heart and looked at Price pleadingly
Cunningham's Dad was certainly playing up the 'I really dont like him' vibes
During Hasa Diga Arnold picked up Kevin and spun him round
In the Lullaby Arnold put his hand on Kevin's while sitting on the bed and didn't move it until Kevin gestured exaggeratedly with his head and eyes
In the Lullaby Arnold tried to get into bed with Price.
Tom looked like he was about to burst into tears after Arnold and Price argued and Dom ran off stage.
He then looked like he was on the verge of tears for most of Man Up.
In the scene before I Believe, McKinley pulled Arnold back to the other Elder's by his tie
Before Baptise me Kimbe got really close to Arnold and flirted with him l. She said "I'm really happy" rather than "were really happy".
In Baptise Me, when Naba and Arnold were behind the curtain, Arnold thrust at Naba in the final "and then...."
In I am Africa, when Naba and Arnold turned round and walked upstage, Arnold's hand was on Naba's arse
When Arnold said "I'm not a follower anymore" Naba made biting motions.
Gavin Alex picked up Ross at the curtain call and sat him on his shoulders then span round
When Stevie came on at the end holding the Poster for Acting for Others he kept pointing and gesturing at the conductor 'seductively'
At curtain call when the audience was cheering Tom Dom sat down on the stage
All in all, Tom and Dom were really extra

Review: The Book Of Mormon
"The musical version of Cards Against Humanity" Read the Screen One review of The Book Of Mormon here #BookOfMormon #Musical #Review @bookofmormonuk @_domsimpson_ @AvivaTulley @MrStevieWebb @PrinceWales_UK
Book Of Mormon Trailer Now into its tenth year, Book of Mormon shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.  Still playing to packed houses at the Prince Of Wales Theatre in London, the musical from the minds of South Park’s Trey Parker and Matt Stone is still one of the most creatively brilliant and most shocking musicals you will find in the West End since Avenue Q (Which Robert Lopez, the third…

Best WE Elder Price and Cunningham and Nabulungi
Id have to say the current ish cast!!
i am awful at telling whether a cast is broadway or west end so bare with me
I think for Elder Price i have to say Dom Simpson, im probably biased since he was the first elder price i ever saw but i do just love him. he has a nice voice and i love how he portrays kevin
I LOVE Connor Pierson as Elder Cunningham… he’s so silly and i love him so so much. Again i’m biased he was also the first cunningham i saw
Nabulungi is such a hard decision because i don’t think i’ve ever seen a performance of her that hasn’t been 10/10 stunning. If someone FORCED me to choose one i would probably say Leanne Robinson, she just has a really pretty voice..
I know you didn’t ask about McKinley but. uhm. i don’t care. I am a stevie webb mckinley truther he’s my favourite mckinley out of every other mckinley he’s just so silly and has such a good vibe

"Neighbors Are Hunted," Border Cities Star. June 5, 1933. Page 1 & 9. ---- Accused of Attacking London Woman And Taking $1,500 --- Condition Serious --- Mrs. Tichonchuk Tells Story of Assault And Robbery --- By Staff Reporter LONDON, Ont., June 5 - Mrs. Alex Tichonchuk, 31, of 6 Webb street, lies in Victoria Hospital in a temporarily serious condition, while detectives were carrying on an intensive hunt this afternoon for two neighbors who are alleged to have attacked her in her home this morning, and robbed the Polish woman of $1,500 in cash.
SUSPECTS SOUGHT THE suspects the police are seeking are John Neyare, 35, boarder at 5 Webb street, across the road from the victim's home, and Joseph Kozuboski, about 33 years of age, and believed to be a resident of Inkerman street.
The robbery occurred about 10 o'clock this morning, when Mrs. Tichonchuk was alone in the house. Her husband was at work in a downtown factory, and their only child Alex, Jr., 7 years old, was attending Aberdeen school.
According to the story told police, the two suspects paid a friendly call to the Tichonchuk residence. They had been in the house a few minutes when the housewife was called to the door to get a registered postal letter. When Mrs. Tichonchuk returned to the living room she found one of the men in a bedroom. Asking what he wanted, she received a non-committal reply. The other man was in the living room. Mrs. Tichonchuk then walked into the bedroom and the visitor threw a bag over her head, and calling his companion to help him, the woman was carried upstairs to a small attic and threatened with death unless she revealed the hiding place of her husband's money. She refused to answer, and they beat her with their fists. While in the attic the men ripped boards from the floor in an effort to locate the money. Mrs. Tichonchuk was then pushed down the stairs and was thrown down the cellar stairs to the cement floor, it was charged. In the meantime, the woman's hands had been tied behind her back.
LEFT IN CELLAR Leaving the victim in the cellar, the raiders ransacked the house, pull- ing out drawers and spreading the contents on the floor, turning beds over and tearing open mattresses. The money was finally found hidden in a bedroom on the ground floor.
John Turrick, a neighbor, told detectives this afternoon he saw Neyara run out of the house and down a lane. He didn't see the other suspect leave the house.
Mrs. Tichonchuk's screams were heard by Peter Sawa, another neighbor, but he didn't go in the house as he thought the noise was a family disturbance, he related to The Star. In the meantime the victim had dragged herself to the verandah with her hands still tied and Sawa came to her rescue.
Charles Howard, 28, 565 Ottaway avenue, also heard the woman's call for help, and he helped Sawa in rendering first aid. Mrs. Tichnochuk was bleeding from mouth and head wounds, and also on the arms where the ropes had cut into the flesh.
RUSHED TO HOSPITAL The victim was rushed to VictoriaHospital where she was attended by Dr. Murray Simpson.
Detective Earl Knight was in police headquarters when the robbery was reported, and in company with Constables Clipperton and Leach, hurried to the scene in a scout car. The alarm was spread over the city, and provincial traffic police were instructed to watch all roads leading out of London.
The suspects were last seen at the intersection to Hill and William street about two blocks from the house. They called at the Matz grocery store, and asked Miss Jennie Matz, 16, to call a taxi.
Murray Haines, 22. of 605 Emery street, answered the call from the Lasalle Taxi Company, and he drove the two men out of the city. Early this afternoon Haines had not returned to London and police were endeavoring to trace the taxi. Haines was driving a Marquette sedan, sedan, carrying the license number V-1211.
The two suspects, who are Russians, came to Canada about three years ago and have lived in London about that time. They were employed with section gangs on various railroads, but had not been working in recent months.
Mr. Tichonchuk, who was also born in Russia, has lived in London six years. His wife came to this country in 1931.
"I drew the $1,500 from the bank on Saturday to pay hospital and other bills, and I also intended to make a down payment on a small farm," the husband told The Star. The money represented his savings in Canada.
DESCRIPTIONS The descriptions of the two alleged robbers, as supplied to police, are as follows: Neyare, about six feet tall, dark complexion, slim and wearing a blue suit, with a white shirt and no tie, and a grey felt hat; Kozuboski, short and stockily built, red freckled face and wearing a sand colored suit coat, grey trousers and a light brown felt hat.
Miss Matz informed The Star this afternoon that Neyare was very excited when he entered the store, and swore profusely while waiting for the taxi. Kozuboski, she said, bought a package of cigarets and gave her five cents for the phone call.
Another family resides with the Tichonchuks, Mr. and Mrs. J. Andrew, and two small children, Mary and Natalie. They were away at the time of the robbery.

Webb Simpson has been named as a vice-captain for the United States team at next year’s Ryder Cup, the PGA of America has confirmed. The 38-year-old, who won his only major title at the US Open in 2012, has appeared in the biennial contest against Europe three times as a player. 6 LIV Golf stars told they are only players who would be welcomed back by PGA Tour
Webb Simpson believes that only six players will be able to re-join the PGA Tour if they decide to leave LIV Golf, with the others having to start from scratch. When the breakaway league started signing golfers in 2022, it hurt the prestigious PGA Tour and led to heavy fan backlash. But golfers kept transitioning due to the financial incentive the Saudi-backed organisation offered, with reigning…

26.8.23 BoM Matinee: Dom Simpsons last Matinee
First and foremost, Stevie Webb was off meaning Stephen Rolley was on for McKinley. There was no more McPriceley than the normal RolleyxDom combo, and although Rolley seemed keen, Dom didn't.
Also, imho straight Poptarts (Ben Tyler) is odd.
The show:
Right before Hello, when his back is to the auidience, Dom took two very deep breaths.
Elder Grant rubbed Price's arm when he said "you're the smartest....", and when Grant was called to Norway Dom made a pouting face.
In the airport scene Mrs Cunningham (Jed Berry) obviously checked out Price's arse, and then kept looking him up and down throughout the whole scene. Mr Cunningham batted her.
Dom held Jack Greaves (playing his brother) really tight.
When Kevin's family ran off stage they shouted "byeeeeeeeeee Kevin".
When Mrs Brown said "bye baby", Dom did a little shoulder wiggle and smiled in a "I've got it" kind of way.
When Nabs showed them to the Mission hut Dom leaned against the wall and flirted with her, winking at her when he offered to help her "learn more", and when Arnold said "she's so hot" Dom nodded and mouthed yeah.
IBTFY - Dom cried. He did all his lines, but it was clear he struggled. He wiped his eyes when he laid down to sleep.
In AAP, when the spotlight was on Joseph Smith, Dom cupped Nab's face and put his hand on her back. Dom moonwalked.
When Price came into the mission hut covered in blood and the elders started screaming, George Littell tried to run away and Jed Berry held him back.
Almost Kiss: Rolley was upping the McPriceley, but Dom was disinterested. He actually moved away from Rolley in the almost kiss - it was a bit like Rolley was waiting for the okay.
SMHD - lots of slapping of his arse. Jed Berry gyrated in Dom's face and groped Dom's crouch. Myles and Amandla were smacking his arse the whole way through. When Price 'passed out at the bus stop' he kicked his leg at a 75 degree angle (been practicing for his new role?!?!?)
I Believe - just amazing.
JSMA - the 'shit' was whipping Dom in the face. Ugandans were fucking aggressively right in front of him ignoring the other Elders.
TIALD - when he said "Fuck Him" Dom air punched and went "yeah" in a very cocky way.
Dom's accent was all over the place and he slipped into his Manchurian tongue for chunks rather than just words.
Throughout the show Dom was very cocky as Price, doing little dances.
Such a wonderful show. The auidience were really naff though.

A Tweet from Julian Simpson suggests listening to his earlier radio drama Bad Memories as preparation for listening to The Haunter of the Dark.
Tumblr media
The link is above if you want to listen before Monday.
This one is weird and extra creepy compared to some of the other Pleasant Green universe audio dramas! Here are the details:
Bad Memories
In 2004, a successful architect and his family mysteriously disappear from their home. Six years later five bodies are found in the cellar of their house. They are identified as Jonathan and Imogen Blake and their son, Matthew; Philip Gibson, who was on the missing person's register and a woman, identity unknown. Forensics determine that not only were they murdered, but the time of death was 1926. Can audio files found with the bodies solve the mystery?
Cast: Rachel Weir ….. Nicola Walker Jim Marquez ….. Rupert Graves Phillip Gibson ….. Steven Mackintosh Jonathan Blake ….. Anthony Calf Imogen Blake ….. Jana Carpenter Matthew Blake ….. Oscar Richardson Mary Marston ….. Imogen McCurdy Boy 1 …… Ashley Cook Boy 2 …… Marcus Webb
Oh and the introduction (Episode 0) for The Haunter of the Dark has dropped:
