#Were-Aykroyd bio
monstermaster13 · 1 year
Text
Name: My name is perfectly clear to grasp, it's Dan..and I am one of Nathan's alter-ego.
Species: Were-Aykroyd. It's a well known fact there's lots of me.
Age: N/A. I am practically ageless, so I don't have to worry about people asking me about m age, age is but a number to me.
Theme Song: Soul Man, Sweetest Perfection.
Personality: I am a complex creature, sometimes I can be your best friend if you treat me right but if you don't I can be your worst nightmare, I am socially awkward and adorkable but extremely savy when it comes to horror, I was a character actor at the Mystic Museum Camp Horror attraction and as such played the character of a video store clerk, that in turn helped make me skilled at being a killer when I play a villain. I also act as a 'spirit guide' for Nathan so to speak ,we share a body and he turns into me.
Likes: I take after Dan Aykroyd so I am a paranormal fanatic, but also I love Aykroyd himself..papa Aykroyd is sacred and anyone who doesn't like him will be getting a word from me and my brothers, I also have a fascination for horror movies due to my profession, expect to see me at Spirit Halloween sometime this year once it opens back up.
Dislikes: If anyone hurts my friends or my fellow Aykroyd characters who are also my brothers (you can hurt Frohmyer if you like, nobody likes him, pure evil incarnate), they'll be meeting my wrath, also if you dislike a celebrity out of adjacent hatred or the like I am going to make sure you will have nightmares on me, and also if you dislike Dan Aykroyd or disapprove of him or anything about him (you won't last long, but hey..if I like you I might spare you and make you part of the group).
Love interest: I cannot say.
Friends: Mel, Eucalyptus, Nathan, Matthias/Werebelushi In The Shades.
Biggest pet peeve: Never question the almighty papa Aykroyd in front of me, I am just going
to make sure you won't be here any more...or at least not as yourself, trust me, and anyone who harms Nathan shall face my wrath too. Also never call me a 'freak', yes i'm weird..everyone is, I am me, we're all weird, and I am the king. I am also heavily against brainwashing and/forced mind control, what I do with my brothers is different and is actually more of a bonding thing.
Powers: Enhanced intelligence, possession, inhuman strength, Aykroyd transformation..I can take over people's bodies by possessing them like in Casper or Michael Jackson's Ghosts and they become like me, of course not all Were-Aykroyds are the same, I am also gifted at mimicking other people's voices too and forms too.
Best friend: Nathan...I consider him my other half. I can communicate with him telepathically and through dreams and visions. Also anyone who is a fan of Dan Aykroyd is a friend of mine, and anyone who loves the adventures my brothers and I do is welcome as well.
Pet: Don't have any yet.
Favorite movie: Name a Dan Aykroyd movie, any Aykroyd movie. But also I developed a mutual love of 80's horror movies and I found my muse in the form of David Lynch and David Cronenberg, let's just say the latter has given me quite a few 'ideas' of my own (it helps I always look up the Body Horror section of tvtropes, they give me some wonderfully wicked ideas),
Favorite Anime: Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh, Star Wars: Visions, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Jojo's Bizarre Advneture, Devilman Crybaby, Digimon, Castlevania. I got into Jojo thanks to Nathan explaining how the vampires in that universe worked and how the Stands work so I made myself a counterpart.
Family: Elwood Blues, Ellis Fielding, Tom Everett, Passenger (Twilight Zone the movie), Julius Jenson, Dr Keats, Captain Milligan, Ray Stantz, Ray Zalinski, Darren 'Mother' Roscow, Harry Sultenfuss, Austin Milbarge, J.P Valkenheiser, Vic Zeck, Yortuk Festrunk, Roman Craig, Sgt Tree, Grocer, Steven Mils, Louis Winthorpe III (Carl Featherbottom was very honored by Louis dressing as him that one time). Vic has the most beautiful eyes, he's the one with the hypnosis powers and the one who taught me.
Enemy: Vic Frohmyer. Not only is that Christmas obsessed jerk a control freak when it comes to Christmas but also he really wants to get his hands on that cursed screen-play that Eucalyptus has, mainly because he knows it's the secret to the 'Aykroyd-verse' so to speak but also because whoever reads it is turned into a Were-Aykroyd (of course he'd want that to make a Dark Were-Aykroyd army nonetheless), hence why it's my job to make sure it's safe in the hands of the right forces.
Tidbit: Despite being akin to werecreature lore, my kind borrows aspects from vampire movies and vampire lore too and also ghosts and demons. And the transformations aren't full moon trigger based either which is a common stereotype of werecreature transformation, true Nathan turns into me sometimes at night but he also transforms into me when it's dark in general, or sometimes when I feel like helping him. I aim to help him, I aim to be a hero and look up to crimefighters.
Favorite Hobby: I love to perform and sing, i've been told i've got quite the voice.
Favorite video game: Mortal Kombat X, Resident Evil: Village (If the cadou mold could be contained somehow and I could use it in combination with some of my Aykroydian DNA it would make me more effective), Dead by Daylight (I have a variant of myself who is a killer in that universe as does Nathan). While it would make sense for me to be a survivor due to my knowledge of horror tropes, I feel killer suits me more in that universe.
Favorite food: Hard to say...too many favorites.
Favorite Attractions: Weta Workshop Unleashed, London Dungeons, Mystic Museum.
Favorite color: A mixture...it could be hard to pick just one.
Favorite book: Let's just say reading HP Lovecraft's work inspired me and I got inspired by R.L Stine and Stephen King too, in fact a lot.
Favorite TV show: Grimm, Cloverfield Lane, X Files, Twin Peaks, Teen Wolf, Big Wolf On Campus, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, SNL, Tales From The Crypt, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Haunting Hour, Creeped Out, Soul Man (no, not the blackface movie or the sitcom with Cedric, the shortlived Aykroyd sitcom), Goosebumps.

We take a look at 7 famous films based on the lives of actors that gained a cult following over the years…
Tumblr media
Mahanati (2018)
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Mahanati  is a film based on the life of actress Savitri, said to be the first female superstar of the Indian film industry.  Keerthy Suresh brought to life the title character, Dulquer Salmaan, who made his Telugu debut with the film played Gemini Ganesan, Samantha Akkineni  essayed the character of Madhuravani (BA Gold Medal), a journalist who is the narrator of sorts for the film, Bhanupriya, Vijay Devarakonda played Vijay Antony. The who’s who of the South industry were part of this prestigious project. Some of the cameos included that of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya who played his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Mohan Babu played S. V. Ranga Rao, Prakash Raj played Aluri Chakrapani, Krish was K. V. Reddy, Srinivas Avasarala was L. V. Prasad, Sandeep Vanga was seen as Adurthi Subba Rao, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam was Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Sai Madhav Burra played Pingali Nagendra Rao. N. T. Rama Rao was brought to life using special effects and a body double. The film opened to rave reviews. Talking about her role in an interview, Keerthy reportedly said that it was a life lesson to play the role of a real-life character like that of legendary actress Savitri. She said after playing Savitri, she understood the importance of relations and friendships and added she would never make the mistakes Savitri made with her life and career.
Tumblr media
The Dirty Picture (2011)
Directed by Milan Luthria, the film was reportedly based on the life of sex symbol Silk Smitha belonging to the South industry, who was known for her raunchy numbers. The film depicted her life from that of being an extra in the film to that of being one of the most sought after and popular actresses around. Vidya Balan was unconventionally cast against type as the central character and to the surprise of everyone wowed both the masses and the critics alike. The film opened to packed houses and Vidya also won the Filmfare Award for her powerhouse performance. Speaking about her role during the promotions of the film, Vidya had this to say, “I have never enjoyed being a woman more than I did while shooting for The Dirty Picture. I wasn’t uncomfortable doing bold scenes because I knew I was in trusted hands.”
Tumblr media
My Week with Marilyn (2011)
My Week with Marilyn is a 2011 British drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Adrian Hodges. It stars Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper, Julia Ormond, Emma Watson and Judi Dench. Based on two books by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl, which starred Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. The film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around London by Clark (Eddie Redmayne), after her husband, Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott), had left the country. The film is based on Colin Clark’s The Prince, The Showgirl and Me and My Week with Marilyn; two diary accounts, which document his time on the set of the 1957 film. Monroe and Olivier, who is considered the most gifted Shakespearean actor of all time, didn’t reportedly get along during the shooting of the film in 1956. At that point of time, Monroe found a sympathetic ear in form of British writer and filmmaker Colin Clark. Kenneth Branagh played Olivier in the film. Celebrated actress Michelle Williams was lauded by the critics for her true to life depiction of Monroe and won an Oscar nomination for it. In an interview given at the time, she mentioned she was kind of apprehensive of the whole thing and spent around six months trying to talk herself out of it. “But, in the end, there was a kind of inevitability. It was the kind of part I was born to challenge myself with…”
Tumblr media
The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004)
The Life and Death of Peter Sellers is a 2004 British/American film about the life of English comedy actor Peter Sellers, based on Roger Lewis’s book of the same name. It was directed by Stephen Hopkins and starred Geoffrey Rush as Sellers, Miriam Margolyes as his mother Peg Sellers, Emily Watson as his first wife Anne Howe, Charlize Theron as his second wife Britt Ekland, John Lithgow as Blake Edwards, Stephen Fry as Maurice Woodruff and Stanley Tucci as Stanley Kubrick. Though the film met with positive reviews, both Britt Ekland, Sellers’ second wife and Lord Snowdon, a close friend criticised it for different reasons, though both agreed that the Sellers they saw on screen wasn’t the Sellers they knew in real life. Film critics were more generous in their praise and Rush won the Emmy for his performance. Geoffrey Rush reportedly tried on 38 wigs and 40 voices to get his impression of the dark genius right. Parallels with his own life were drawn at the time but Rush refuted them saying his own life wasn’t as dark and troubled as Sellers’. It was a tough challenge for Rush to be Sellers as the script by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus had Sellers inhabiting the various characters who shape his life. It must have been tough both physically and mentally but Fry somehow overcame the difficulties and gave a wonderful performance. “Some people find the idea of the Sellers character playing various people in the film weird or disconcerting,” Rush said in an interview. “I always found it terrific.”
Tumblr media
Iruvar (1997)
The film was loosely based on the life and times of MGR and Karunanidhi, though Mani Ratnam never officially commented on that. MGR was brought to life by Mohanlal in one of his most sublime performances while Prakash Raj gave his career’s best performance as the poet-politician Tamizhselvan and won a National Award for the same. Aishwarya Rai made her big screen debut through this film and played the dual role of Jayalalitha and Mohanlal’s wife.  Talking about the role in an interview with a daily, Mohanlal commented Iruvar offered him an entire lifespan of a character. He liked the role as it had a lot of variations. Prakash Raj, who was trying to make a mark outside of Kannada films, too said Iruvar helped him take the next big step in his career. The film is described by some to be the finest film directed by Mani Ratnam.
Tumblr media
Chaplin (1992)
Chaplin is a 1992 British-American biographical comedy-drama film about the life of British comedian Charlie Chaplin. It was produced and directed by Richard Attenborough and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Marisa Tomei, Dan Aykroyd, Penelope Ann Miller, and Kevin Kline. It also features Geraldine Chaplin in the role of her own paternal grandmother, Hannah Chaplin. The film was adapted by William Boyd, Bryan Forbes and William Goldman from the books My Autobiography by Chaplin and Chaplin: His Life and Art by film critic David Robinson. It was a role of a lifetime at the time for Downey, who is known today as Iron Man. He was a no-name actor with allegedly no professional training who reportedly aced the screen test in a field consisting of 30 known actors. Director Richard Attenborough described him thus at the time – “This little Brat Pack gadfly with virtually no discipline.” The film opened to mostly positive reviews and Downey was praised for his sensitive portrayal of the troubled genius that was Chaplin. He was nominated for the Oscars but like Chaplin himself, who never won an acting honour at the Academy Awards,  he too didn’t win. But he did win the BAFTA in the Best Actor category.
Tumblr media
Bhumika (1977)
Bhumika is a 1977 film directed by Shyam Benegal. The film stars Smita Patil, Amol Palekar, Anant Nag, Naseeruddin Shah and Amrish Puri. The film is based on the memoir, Sangte Aika of the well-known Marathi stage and screen actress of the ’40s Hansa Wadkar, who led a flamboyant and unconventional life. The film won two National Film Awards — Smita Patil won the National Award for her power packed performance and it also won the Best Screenplay Award. It won the Filmfare Best Movie Award as well. It was invited to Carthage Film Festival 1978, as also to the Chicago Film Festival, where it was awarded the Golden Plaque in 1978. The story moves back and forth across flashbacks to the early life of Wadkar. Apart from the non-linear narrative, the film also employed the film within a film device. The film was lauded by the critics and Smita Patil’s performance continues to get praised. Some say it’s her career best performance. In an interview with Filmfare, this is what Shyam Benegal said about Smita’s role in Bhumika. “Initially, I had considered Shabana for Bhumika (1977) too but Smita’s body language and dialect seemed culturally apt for her Maharashtrian character. Bhumika, based on the life of Marathi actress Hansa Wadkar, required Smita’s visual presence from the beginning to the end…”

“Get On Up”
(The James Brown Bio Pic)
August 6, 2014 at 5:49am
Since I normally write music reviews I thought a review of the new James Brown bio pic was appropriate for my next blog. My husband and I went to see "Get On Up" on our date night and absolutely loved this film.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vptGSENcXeI
I have read that we cannot interpret the our present without understanding our past. For we are the sum of all that came before us. In this generation of "here and now" I hope that the importance of James Brown in music and the industry is not lost on our youth today. When my husband and I arrived to the 9:05 showing, we and one other person were the only ones in the theatre for about 5 minutes. I thought to myself…"this is sad that no one else is here." Then within about 10 minutes the theatre was full.
I was very pleased that the usual format of doing bio pics in a chronological order was not used. Probably because his Southern Georgia accent many people unfamiliar with it will be lost during the story. My grandmother was from Augusta, Georgia and often when she was excited or upset her tone and volume of her voice would become higher in pitch. So, I understood almost everything that James' character says during the movie. I bring this up because after the film was done, my husband and I spent about 20 minutes discussing and explaining certain moments of the film with a South-African woman who was seated in front of us.
Chadwick Boseman is James Brown! I cannot imagine anyone else playing him on screen. Every nuance of Mr. Brown's voice and presence is in every frame of this movie. Chadwick is a brilliant actor. I loved Jamie Foxx in "Ray" but I believe "Get On Up" blows it away. It moves much faster and gives more of a history lesson.
If you know anything about the history of James Brown you will obviously notice the parts of his career that were omitted. Like his collaboration with Afrika Bambaataa, his big comeback hit "Livin' In America", the Soul Power Kinshasa Zaire Concert in 1974,  and the agency in charge of finding samples of his work. But I was so pleased they showed his power and influence during the riots in Boston after Martin Luther King's assassination. There were some very prominent scenes that really give you some insight into what life used to be like for African-American recording artists. But of course there are some pure fiction moments and liberties taken to move the story. Example……Dan Aykroyd plays James' manager, Ben Bart. There's a scene at Bart's funeral where James is effected by his death. According to the real life son of Ben Bart, James Brown was not at his funeral. But the symbolism of what Bart meant to James' career shows that had he not been represented by the "white devil" that Little Richard described he would have never crossed over.
But the character that stuck out for me was the "Aunt Honey" character played by Octavia Spencer. Like Richard Pryor's grandmother she takes in the abandoned child and nurtures his need for love and security. Now, growing up in a brothel is not the ideal situation for a young child but I'm pretty sure it gives you an education that most kids don't get. As a child who was forced to grow up a lot sooner than I was supposed to, I totally understood where James and Richard were coming from. And Viola Davis' portrayal of James' mother really struck a chord with me as well. Being the son of a drug addict, I identified with with the abandonment issues that James felt. But what I think is really important is the coalition between the pain and suffering that figures like James Brown and Richard Pryor used to create their art. The problem with a lot of today's artists is that they have it too good. They think a big break is just a few YouTube views away or a few clicks on some social media site. Perhaps a stint on a show like American Idol would send them over the top.
Legends like James Brown, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Richard Pryor, Tina Turner,Dorothy Dandridge and so many more had many obstacles to get over to make the impact that they did on the world. I hope that young audiences of today will look at this film and realize that the title "Hardest Working Man In Show Business" was definitely earned. The concept of "funk" was birthed in the head of James Brown. Tired of record companies white-washing R&B, James would take the same song and re-tweek it into something that no white artist could reproduce. And that is why his music has stood the test of time and influenced so many like Michael Jackson, Prince, Bootsy Collins, George Clinton andRick James. Even anti-James Brown songs like "James Brown Is Dead" tell of his influence by declaring that it does not have a sample of his music.
So, I highly recommend this film as required viewing. It is so good to see the untold Black History being told. Thank you Mick Jagger for producing this gem. And thank you to all the people who are working on getting our history out there. I hope and pray that we in the gay community will start doing the same. So many stories to tell and so much history to share. Because when we share our past we insure our future.

Nathan Forester aka Monstermaster13 was a huge Dan Aykroyd fan, actually he was a simp for him and a total addict and he knew it, by day he’d work on new monster bios that were based on concepts and in case you’re one of those snot nosed a-logger wannabes who thinks he’s creepy for whatever stupid reason you have and that ‘based on a concept’ is a stupid description, might I remind you that you are obviously being creepy by obsessing with him in the first place and questioning such things - and by night he'd well..dream Aykroydian dreams and talk to his Aykroydian alter-ego in them. Anyway, based on a concept is just another way of saying ‘based on a true story’ or ‘based on an idea someone else did first but I decided to do my own take on it’, so please shut up about it. Nathan loved Dan Aykroyd, he saw a kindred spirit in him and Aykroyd had been his good luck charm throughout 2020 and it was proving to be the year of Aykroyd for him this year too.
He had come up with his Dead By Daylight killer persona ‘Dan/The Were-Aykroyd’ a couple of months ago and now his dreams had been filling up even more with dreams about wanting to become Aykroyd, to become that Were-Aykroyd and he didn’t know how to feel about it, he felt conflicted, he was afraid yet oddly fascinated by it, his powers were odd but when he could control them he found a good use for them. Having Were-Aykroyd powers was tricky, sometimes he would transform at night, and sometimes he’d transform when it got dark in general and sometimes ‘Dan’ would just show himself whenever he felt like it. On the night of July 1st, 2021…Canada Day and also Dan Aykroyd’s birthday, he was resting for a little bit but he couldn’t help but have those dreams and those visions. In those visions he was with his friends and he couldn’t help but think about Dan…’daaaaamn I wish I was Dan Aykroyd’…he covered his mouth in shock, he didn’t mean to wish for that.
That’s when his stomach gurgled as it began to grow and broaden, rounding out, pushing against his dark blue shirt, brown hairs slowly developed on his stomach, he tried to pull them out but they grew back instantly. He knew this was happening, he was turning into Dan again and he had to excuse himself. ‘Excuse me, I don’t feel so good, I must have eaten something awful before I got here.’ His best friends excused him before he ran off to go and hide, a couple of minutes later he woke up.
“Oh thank goodness, it was just a dream.”
“But it doesn’t have to be.”
Nathan shuddered as he heard the voice of Dan/The Were-Aykroyd speaking to him despite not being there, he rubbed his eyes just to make sure if he was hallucinating or still dreaming, and that’s when he looked over in the mirror and saw his reflection which looked normally only to warp into Dan’s one. ‘Dan, I told you not to scare me like that.’ ‘Now why would I scare you? You know why i’m here.’ ‘Don’t tell me.’ ‘Oh yes, I know about those dreams you had, about wanting to be Dan Aykroyd, you love him don’t you?’ ‘Oh yes, oh yes…yes..I am a simp for him, I admit that.’
“Of course you are, and he lives in your mind rent free.”
“And I guess you do too?”
“Absolutely. I am a permanent part of you now. And you are always bound to become me.”
‘I cannot escape from you, can I?’ ‘Heh, escape from me? Are you kidding? You’re mine, you may be safe from me during the day but when it gets dark, you are mine. You’re always going to be the Were-Aykroyd I know you are, you’re always going to be like that.’ ‘Uhhhh, I know you’re supposed to be a killer but stop being so damn creepy.’ ‘Oh puhlease, i’m not that creepy, i’m just stating the facts. You are me, I am you, we are one and the same. You are my creator, you created me and I was brought to life to make sure our bond is one that doesn’t die.’, the monsterologist didn’t like the sound of it and attempted to get Dan to leave.
“Please, no…if you are thinking about Aykroyding me up, please don’t…”
“Oh but I know you’d want it.”
“No I wouldn’t, not now.”
“But in that dream you wished to become Dan Aykroyd, and I shall help you.”
“I’m sorry but I didn’t mean to wish for that.”
“Now now, don’t play games with me. You know you are only going to lose.”
Nathan attempted to block Dan's voice out of his mind, acting like Dan was wrong but he knew he was right, after all he and Dan were one and the same…he was him, he was a Were-Aykroyd, the Were-Aykroyd, and as many times as he attempted to resist what he called those 'pesky Aykroydian urges', they always came back, in the form of dreams that told him that this was meant to happen, he was always meant to become Dan and to embrace his Were-Aykroyd side.
"No, I am not going to let you…"
"Oh but don't you wish you were Dan Aykroyd? All of your dreams have lead up to this."
But Aykroyding out while in a public place with a bunch of people likely watching frightened him, it's not like that he didn't like transforming…it's just he felt awkward about it, and he dreaded what would happen if people found out about his secret and those dreams did intrigue him but he just had problems controlling his Aykroydian urges sometimes. 'In my dreams yes…but I didn't mean to. I didn't think I..' 'Of course you do, or you wouldn't have created me and brought me to life.' 'That's true.' 'And admit it, me taking over you felt pretty nice.' 'Well I guess it did.' 'You guess it did? You were enjoying it, admit it…being me aka the Were-Aykroyd as you call me, must have been pretty enticing.'
"I don't know, I don't know if being you is what i'd consider enticing."
"Come on now, don't you act like that."
"But…you know.."
"You know that you couldn't resist the transformation."
"You're right."
Nathan blushed, thinking about the dream and that telepathic wish to become Dan made him feel like he was conflicted. He didn't want to admit it, but he knew it was true, he knew he kind of wanted it. All the times he had pretended to be a 'natural born werejohncandy' when his persona was actually a weregrinch were part of his embarassing past that a-loggers seemed to really have a thing for, but there were fans that enjoyed his were-personas anyway. 'It wouldn't hurt to become your true were-sona now would it? I mean the Werejohncandy is separate from you or Growler and he's separate from me, and besides Chumsley won't mind.'
"Leave Chumsley the Werejohncandy out of this."
"Don't you worry, i'm not going to include him in this at all."
"You better not."
"Now now…is that any way to talk to someone who's helping you?"
Dan smirked as he manifested in Nathan's mirror…he had a most unusual way of coaxing Nathan into letting him out but that was part of his appeal. Yes, he was odd but he was very persuasive. Naturally it was difficult to resist him what with his hypnotic powers and his charisma. 'Why did I have to make you so charismatic?' 'Because you knew that the horror fanbase would thirst over me.' 'And thirst they certainly have. I mean even the guys in the fandom want you.' 'Can't be helped.'
"I may have created you but I can resist my temptation to be like you."
"Can you? Face it, you need me. And it's thanks to me that you have a true were-sona."
'Well yes. But just because I dreamed about turning into Dan doesn't mean you can make it happen.' 'Oh but I can..listen to my voice.' Nathan attempted not to listen to the 'Were-Aykroyd's words, shaking his head and trying to get those pesky Aykroydian thoughts of his dreams out of his mind. But those thoughts kept surfacing, making him want it…he didn't mean to wish for himself to change into the thicc sexy Were-Aykroyd yet he kept thinking he meant for it to happen, after all this side was permantely part of him and no matter how who he turned into, he'd always be the Were-Aykroyd. He didn't mind that though, but that was the form he had permantely unlocked and would turn in into ever since.
"I won't let you."
"You already think about it, the only thing to do is wish for it to happen and it shall happen."
But he was more than just the Were-Aykroyd though, he always attempted to hide his transformations into him from the others and sometimes attempted to surpress them but sometimes even when he wasn't thinking about it he thought about it. He had to admit that when he watched the massage scene in Diamonds, he felt jealous and that's when he started to transform…when he first Aykroyded out while watching that scene, he panted as his torso and chest broadened. Those brown hairs growing on his chest, attempting to resist but ultimately letting the Aykroyd within warp him and transform him, no matter where he went, Dan was always there..waiting and watching.
"Now…don't you want to say the words that will make this happen?"
"I want to but i'm afraid."
He looked over for a bit before thinking about it…this was how it always happened in the dreams, that inner Aykroyd urging him to do it, to transform, to make him want it…he saw himself in Dan Aykroyd already, he imagined the transformation happening to him all the time but he didn't want to admit he liked it…he panted in his sleep whenever he dreamed about this, and that's what made him blush. He kept thinking back to that dream he had earlier. 'Come on, you can do it.' 'No, no…no.' 'Now now, don't be like that.' 'I mustn't think about it, if I think about it it will happen.'
Nathan's fear of the transformation actually happening was mainly because he had an image in his mind of the transformation being grotesque and horrifying like something out of a Cronenberg movie or a Resident Evil game, he always thought of that transformation scene in An American Werewolf In London and how poor David must have felt while turning into his werewolf form, involuntary transformations always came across as painful at least at first, but he had been transforming for a while now and was used to it, but he just wasn't ready to be transformed. He tried to block those thoughts out of his mind but he just couldn't resist thinking about it and without warning…'I wish I was Dan Aykroyd!' it was then he covered his mouth. 'I didn't say that, I didn't mean to say that.' 'Oh but you did.' 'I didn't mean to wish for this…please I don't wish that I was Dan Aykroyd.'
He felt a chill run down his spine as his stomach began to gurgle as if he had eaten something bad, he squirmed…as his skin slowly began to lose imperfections, his skin slowly aging itself up to 68 years. 'I take it back, please.' 'No take backs, you wished for this and now I am helping you.' Nathan looked at his hands and groaned as they enlarged, slowly contorting and growing, bursting out of his fingerless gloves. This was followed by tawny brown hairs slowly spreading on the backs of his hands, it wasn't fur but was kind of close to it. His arms slowly broadened in size as the same hairs slowly covered them. His shirt felt awfully tight, as his torso and chest slowly began to broaden and inflate, gaining a much wider frame as the buttons on the shirt slowly gave away with a slew of popping sounds.
With a few pops and rips the shirt burst off his upperbody revealing his chest which was growing the same brown hairs on it as it swelled and broadened, he couldn't help but look at his transforming upperbody and stroke the hair on his chest as the hairs grew down to his stomach which was also swelling and broadening. 'Oh my…i'm becoming so..' 'Sexy? Why yes you are, such a thicc, sexy Were-Aykroyd. This is you, this is all you.' 'No, I didn't mean it, please stop this.' He groaned as he heard a few creaking sounds, his height was slowly increasing as it elevated, growing from 5'7 to 5'8. He groaned as he clutched his stomach with his larger hands, but couldn't help but be enamored by his transformation.
"This is horrifying but why can't I stop being enthralled by the transformation?"
"Because this is natural."
"Natural…how is this natural?"
The transformation began to spread down to his legs which stretched and contorted as his slippersocks slowly began to tighten while his feet pulsated, slowly growing and contoritng as he attempted to remove them, but the socks just got tighter and tighter until they slowly tore apart, as his feet enlarged and resembled his hands…they looked and felt so alien to him, like they weren't his, like his body wasn't his own, but it was Dan Aykroyd's…that's when he realized,he was developing the Canadian actor's body, he felt a tingling sensation between his toes as two of the toes on both feet stuck together, giving them the appearance of being webbed. 'Curse you and your webbed toes that make you perfectly able to be an aquatic species even though you're not aquatic!'. 'I know my toes are nice…'
He groaned as his height slowly increased from 5'8 to 5'9 to 5'10 and 5'11, his shoulders broadening with a loud crunching sound as his back followed suit, his rear slowly plumped up which made him blush, he always found it difficult to resist simping over himself transforming and he often cursed his Were-Aykroyd for being 'dummy thicc' and alluring, his neckline altered while he also slowly elevated to 6'0 and then to 6'1 as his hair slowly darkened, becoming wavier as his brow and forehead elevated and grew, his eyebrows thickened…turning darker just like his hair.
"I wish I didn't make the wish to turn into him and now look at me."
"Yes, look at you…soooooooo sexy. You're getting your wish."
Now there was no denying he was at the same height as Dan Aykroyd himself and he had the same build, his transforming body felt so alien to him…in the dreams when this always happened to him he always thought it was going to be horrific and gruesome, but this was oddly entrancing. He remembered when Vic hypnotized him, those beautiful blue eyes. His eyes widened as one turned green, while the other remained the usual color of brown which was the color he usually had. Mentally he was conflicted, on one hand he was regretting that he wished for it but on the other hand he was enjoying it and thinking it was natural, like how he thought like it was natural for him to be like this. 'You're right…and I feel extremely good about this, like it's natural. Like i've always been like this. I've always been like Dan Aykroyd, right? Yes…I have.'
"Why yes you have."
"No wait a minute, no I haven't…that's just you messing with my mind."
"But you know it's true, you're a perfectly handsome Were-Aykroyd and you know it."
"No i'm not…i'm me, i'm not Dan Aykroyd."
"But you identify as him."
Nathan held his head and groaned as his nose broadened and his features slowly contorted and morphed into a perfect copy of Aykroyd's features as nose broadened, a small cleft popping up in the middle of it, he was already starting to simp over how attractive he thought he was becoming yet he cursed himself for creating him but yet he was genuinely simping over his Were-Aykroyd form in his dreams. He examined his face and groaned a few times as his jawline altered and his features plumped up a little and fully resembled Aykroyd's own as his voice deepened and altered, altering to match his appearance, making him sound very Aykroydian.
His mind and personality were spinning as the latter started to become filled with memories of his alter-ego, that alter-ego being Dan/The Were-Aykroyd, he started to remember the opening events of the Canadian Invasion storyline in which he went after some of the survivors, he remembered turning some patients in a hospital into Were-Aykroyds like him and he remembered turning Felix, but he didn't mean to do that…he snapped out of having 'Dan's traits briefly during that moment and he remembered crying as he uttered to Felix. 'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I got taken over by him and I turned you, i'm sorry.' He felt guilty for doing that, but 'Dan' obviously knew that too. Dan viewed some of the other survivors as a threat, in particular David King among others, and he went out of his way to 'protect' Nathan. 'Why fight the transformation now? This will always happen, we will always be one and the same. You created me and through your powers and mine, I was brought to life and i'm glad I was.'
"I'm fighting this because I don't…"
"Don't like the idea of being like me?"
"Please stop this."
"Didn't you say and I quote…'I wish I was Dan Aykroyd'?"
"Yes but I didn't mean it."
"Your mouth didn't mean it but your heart and mind obviously did."
"I don't understand this…can't you just reverse this?"
"Sorry, you're already a Were-Aykroyd, you are me after all. And there's no cure."
Nathan panted and groaned, attempting to get Dan's words out of his head…he was confused and he didn't know why but he felt like he always had been like that. 'Yes, you're right. No cure, i've always identified as Dan Aykroyd, because that's my name…Dan, Daniel Edward Aykroyd. No wait, what? No, i'm Nathan.' 'Oh but you look like a Dan to me, and you look and sound like me. You know what you are.' 'Enough, stop this. I'm not Dan, i'm not you, i'm Nathan and i'm not…a Were-Aykroyd.' 'Not a Were-Aykroyd, you say? Well you could have fooled me, I definitely know you're one. Especially since i'm part of you now.'
"Yes, yes…you're right, I am the Were-Aykroyd, I am Dan."
'That's right, we are one and the same. You're proud of who you are and what you do, you're a killer.' 'I'm proud…of what I am, i'm a killer. No wait, no i'm not, i'm not like you, i'm not supposed to be evil.' 'That's an awfully strong word, not what I'd use to describe what I do. Am I a bit extreme in my methods? Yes, but i'm definitely not evil by any means.' 'But you turn people into Were-Aykroyds and go after the survivors. You tried to get me to turn Dwight, my best friend!' 'Yes, I did. But I saw that you and Dwight have a lot in common, you two are similar in the way you're both socially awkward and shy but resourceful and I used my powers to try and bring you closer together as friends.' 'But why did you try to get me to turn him? You know I wouldn't do anything like that.'
"Sometimes I just emerge when I feel like doing it."
'Matthias/Werebelushi In Shades would likely kick your ass if he found out what you've done.' 'Oh, would he now? I don't think he would. After all, he's seen a Were-Aykroyd before, his counterpart.' 'Matthew's a good Were-Aykroyd, not an evil one. You're evil, you would be seen as a villain to Werebelushi.' 'Me? A villain? Well of course, but i'm the type of villain that nobody can resist the urge to thirst over. And you thirst for me too, don't you? Of course you do.' 'But why do I have to take after you though? I thought I'd be more of an Elwood and not a Grocer!' 'I suppose if I appeared as say Boolie from Driving Miss Daisy, Elwood or Mike Weber then your Were-Aykroyd self would have taken after them, but in a way i'm kind of your sibling and siblings tend to copy each-other.'
"What?"
"It's all true you know."
He groaned and attempted to return to his usual form/his normal self but he couldn't, each time he tried he just morphed back into the Were-Aykroyd form he had as he looekd at himself, he attempted to resist a few more times, trying to ignore 'Dan's words but ultimately he failed, traces of 'Nathan' slowly slipped into the proverbial shadows and were replaced by 'Dan's ones. He realized that he didn't have a reason to resist, why would he resist anyway? True, Were-Aykroyd transformations were always uncomfortable for Nathan but that was because of how it was difficult to keep them under control sometimes. Sometimes he'd turn into him at night or when it got dark in general, or just sometimes Dan would emerge whenever he felt like it or whenever he pleased, which included in dreams.
"Admit it, resisting was foolish of you. You're me, you always will be."
"Now why would I? I want to resist but I can't."
"That would be foolish of you if you did, a good Were-Aykroyd ALWAYS embraces his transformation."
Resisting didn't seem right to him and neither did denying what he was, he was Dan/The Were-Aykroyd after all, a most forbidable adversary and a mastermind when it came to his skills as a killer who knew of how to use his powers and how to persuade others, he was also a man of style, he studied other killers/monsters and he studied the rules of horror movies and he knew how to warp those rules. He had superhuman strength and an extremely high IQ, but he preferred to use his brain, and that brain was one he could use to manipulate others easily and of course he could make himself look and sound like normal Nathan in order to fool his would-be-victims, and appear as a number of Dan Aykroyd characters. That's when he realized that resisting in general and denying that he was this dangerous but charming killer was not the right way. 'That's not right, why would I resist like that? Pretending that i'm not like this is definitely the incorrect way for me to act.' 'Exactly, that's why you have me and Aykroyd himself to remind you otherwise. Don't be ashamed of who you are and what you do, yes…you're a deliciously thicc killer but you're a loyal brother who is very good to his siblings, all those Aykroyd characters are your siblings and they love you. You're like a king to them.'
"You're right, I am."
"And a killer horror podcaster too."
Within a few seconds later, 'Nathan' wasn't there anymore…there was only Dan/The Were-Aykroyd. And Dan was very much ready to see if the horror fanbase was ready for for another tale of horror from him, which of course he was naturally good at. He had his own podcast called 'Tales From The Aykroyd Zone' where he would tell horror stories that were in the vein of Goosebumps or Tales From The Crypt episodes, and of course he'd always end the show by making a joke and wishing them a good night, like a male version of Elvira. 'Ah, what a good night for one of my tales.' 'I think it is the right time to share another tale.' 'Good evening to all my followers, it's time for another installment of Tales From The Aykroyd Zone, with me your host/narrator…Dan the Were-Aykroyd. Since today is Canada Day and Dan Aykroyd's birthday, I think it's a good time to share with you the story that is the one that brought me to life and into your minds and hearts.'
Dan began sharing his origin story with the listeners, using his voice mimicry skills to mimic how 'Nathan' sounded as he narrated the tale of what lead up to him being brought to life and the transformation, he described what was happening in vivid Aykroydian detail while also going over how his other self felt about turning. And not only that but he sent a special hidden message to some of the survivors, using a voice replication he did of Nathan's voice, to make it sound like Nathan had been captured. This was of course but one part of his plan. A plan to make himself some new followers, and his siblings soon chimed in with horror stories of their own.
"I can't wait for them to hear this."
"Yes….I want to hear their reactions too."
You don't need me to explain to you all at home that we should be careful what we wish for since that has been proven time and time again. But however I will tell you to keep an eye out tonight, just in case this little story proves to be true, but don't worry it's just a story, after all…there's no such thing as a Were-Aykroyd. Oh wait, i've already done that, and we all know that our friends the Were-Aykroyds are real, but don't worry, they won't hurt you, and neither would'Dan', unless he considers you a threat/enemy, and I don't think he would, because you're such a good listener.
And by the way…i'd like to end this tale by reminding you to always keep dreaming those beautifully weird dreams and have those Aykroydian dreams. And happy birthday, Dan Aykroyd. Don't forget, you can always pay me a visit anytime you want. But for now I must go, since it is getting dark and my inner 'Were-Aykroyd' could emerge at any minute, so i'll just say this, until we meet again for another tale of horror, good night, sweet screams, don't forget to leave your lights on just in case you get scared. And look out for Were-Aykroyds.
