I do stand by that Luke should receive some punishment/consequences for his actions. But I also don't want it be something the gods inflict, because Luke's choices hurt other demigods more than the gods( main reason he shouldn't be forgiven immediately-)

So, Lee/image of Lee taking over that role just seems fitting. He was one of the first camper deaths.

Retribution and acknowledgement of mortal guilt is also something Apollo is often connected to. As well as protection of youth.

Lee is the son of the god who rained plague on the Greeks for the taking of one of his priest's daughter, in many versions assisted in the death of Achilles for the death of one or more of his sons. Slaughtered Cyclops more ancient then his own father out of anger and grief of lost of another son.

Absolutely Lee's gonna make sure Luke fully understand the effects of what he's done.

Is it bad that I don't like Bianca Di Angelo. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't hate her, I don't think she's terrible, she's 12, she's a child, but try as I might I just can't understand her choice. I get that she's 12 and left to take care of her brother but they have no one else at that point and the first chance she gets she agrees to leave him. She agrees before they even get to camp, before she's even made sure it's safe and I've said it before I don't think there's a world where Nico stays at Camp Halfblood. I don't think Bianca necessarily dies in every universe. There must be at least some where she actually listens when told not to touch anything or even where she, an untrained, inexperienced 12 year old isn't picked for this quest where they know one of them will die because it's been prophecised, but I do think Nico, at least in every universe where Bianca agrees to join the Hunters, always leaves camp after discovering he's a son of Hades, and then he's really not safe. they're each other's only family and she chooses to leave him. In 2 years he'll be the same age as her, and a year after that he's older. He'll live his entire life while she pops in and out when they can, maybe sees him if he's at camp halfblood at the time. and, to be fair to Bianca, I don't think the Hunters should offer this to 12 year old anyway. but, no, Bianca will either be dead, or 12 forever as he younger brother grows older, as he nearly dies trying to save his friends and help his family. Although I would love to see her and the Hunter's reaction when Nico shows up in the fifth book, same age as Bianca, with 3 gods and, if I'm remembering correctly, an army of skeletons, as she realises her younger is growing up. Honestly I could see them finding a way to send messages and Nico, despite knowing there's no place for him there, going to Camp Halfblood when he knows the hunters will be there so he can see his sister. see, i like the idea of alive Bianca that lives in my head, because i love the angsty idea of her seeing her brother get older and get married and make new friends and meet the half sister and her still being physically 12 but so much older mentally and wondering what could have been if she hadn't agreed to be a Hunter. But canon Bianca? i get that she's young but, maybe it's because I'm the youngest of a family with quite a few cousins that are very close but I can't imagine a world where my older brother or one of my older cousins agrees to just leave me somewhere without first making sure it's safe, even if they were 12. and the fact that they're each other's only family on Earth at that point? and then in book 4, instead of appearing directly ti Nico and telling him not to come to her, she uses Percy as a middle man? Nico is not Percy's responsibility. No, you agreed to join the Hunters, you agreed to go on this quest when you were untrained and inexperienced (because somehow there was no one more qualified or better suited after the other Hunter couldn't go).

Honestly, maybe my problem is more with the Hunters than Bianca herself now that I'm thinking about it. The way they act like they're better than everyone's else but get upset when they retaliate. The way they hate all men. There's just something about their attitude in the third books I hate. Maybe it's because it's from Percy's POV but, I don't know, they just rub me the wrong way. Maybe it's because they're supposed to be feminists but they're written by a man who thinks the extent of feminism is "we as women hate all men and think we're better than them" which, while is admittedly how some women are, is not supposed to be the point of feminism. I was taught feminism was equality between men and women, not one being better than the other, not hating on one while hating one the other, both men and women being equal. Is this where I realise that my problems actually boil down to problems with Rick Riordan writing women and girls? Zoe's dislike does make some sense and I do like her character but it feels like the other Hunters are, like, radical feminists who believe men and women should be separate?

Also while I'm here, might as well add, as someone who read the first five books but does plan to read the others, Percabeth means literally nothing to me. I don't hate them but I don't ship them either. They're fine as friends but as a couple? I'm sure there are much more interesting ships for both of them. The first five books is more or less them not being together but getting jealous of anyone of the opposite who talks to them, (though Percy's is also annoyance because, you know, Luke tried to kill him and Annabeth still has hope she can get through to him even though he's betrayed them. Percy's fatal flaw is loyalty, he doesn't take betrayal well, we saw how he reacted to Nico's perceived betrayal), and (Usually Annabeth but Percy sometimes) picking arguments. Ah, yes, the old married couple. Now, the moments where they actually bond outside of quests and camp halfblood? Not many of them. They have a couple of cute moments but, as a couple, I don't really care for it. I don't mind them as friends but, as more than that, not really. Annabeth chose Percy over Luke? oh great, and so the rest of camp Halfblood, the others who stay there all year? They mean nothing? If it was't for Percy, she would've just left them? Interesting. Percy gave up immortality for Annabeth? Not really, sure, she may have been part of it, but the main part was making sure children of all Greek gods had somewhere safe to go and would be claimed. also, why would a depressed, possibly suicidal teen want to be immortal? want to be with the gods who have just used him and his friends and half of whom hate him? Also, next to Annabeth Percy is always made out to be the dumb one but he's not really. Sure Annabeth is better at planning but Percy is better at improvising when things go wrong. See: him tricking Crusty. Also in that first book Annabeth also makes some not so smart choices. See: going to the Arch to sightsee in the middle of the quest. Percy is also the one who figures out The Lotus Hotel situation, not Annabeth. They have different types of intelligence but Percy is not dumb.

Everything that's currently posted has a happy ending. Storm in the quiet has the most angst overall, and some people might find the ending angsty but I don't think it is lol

7. What has the happiest ending?

Probably somehow i still love you more. Just Xaden and Violet and their baby, living their happy lives 😌

Not really! A couple people here and there who I think either didn't get the point of some of my work or it wasn't their thing and they told me about it anyway, but no outright hate

Yes. Anything with a praise kink basically

A lot of untranslated dialogue when I'm reading takes me out of the story because I have to keep translating it myself. As far as writing, I don't really write it because I don't speak other languages besides English, so I wouldn't want to get it wrong

I don't really have any angsty endings?? but a fic @affectionatelyrs and I are working on is going to have an ambiguous ending and my joke is that someone should the version of it where things take the angsty route

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I mostly write happy endings, but I am going to say that Let Me inside (I Want to Get to Know You) is the happiest because it's kinda the tropiest

Do you get hate on fics?

Not hate, but I've gotten one or two weird comments, or comments asking about updates.

Do you write smut?

I do! (this is one of the things that's changed since the fall)

The closest I've gotten to a crossover is the PJO AU, but that's not even an actual crossover.

Yes!! Super Six and the Siren's Call with @inexplicablymine and @read-and-write- was the first, and then I wrote Let Me inside (I Want to Get to Know You) with @affectionatelyrs. I also did the podficcing of the voice notes for love has a voice (and it's yours) by Manu. I've also got a couple more projects coming up with Jamie also.

What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Unfortunately I don't know if I'll ever finish Baby's First Pride because I've grown a ton as a writer since then and I would want to redo the old chapters and that just isn't all the compelling to me anymore...

What are your writing strengths?

I fucking hate this question. But I am going with dialogue and humor (and humorous dialogue) which has been co-signed by others so I feel less weird about saying this.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I would like to be able to keep smut more concise at times, because it always turns into a Big Scene but it doesn't always need to be a Big Scene. And I've been trying to work on a particular style of writing which is a bit more uhhh snappy? I don't know how to describe it. But that's still a huge work in progress, because I always get more rambly than I want.

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I definitely try to include it for the characters in RWRB who speak other languages, and when I do I lean on my friends who speak those languages as a native speaker.

my two brain cells decided to collide for this idea !

The urge to do an Arcane AU with PJO characters.

We stay in PJO's universe, follow somewhat canon BUT

Vi = Travis Stoll

Powder/Jinx = Connor Stoll

Silco = nobody, maybe Kronos but he won't ever be a father figure.

They're living in the streets with other two characters, doing heists and whatever.

One goes wrong and Connor accidentally kills the other two and Travis and Connor split up.

Travis gives Connor a flare, "light it up and I'll come find you."

A satyr finds Travis and brings him to Camp.

Connor stays on the street until one of Kronos' army finds him and recruit him.

For plot convenience, Luke won't meet Connor until he's in Kronos mode and Kronos couldn't care less about two identical boys, one Luke used to know.

Battle of Manhattan, they meet again, briefly. They glance at each other.

Shock, disbelief, the whole trauma package.

Travis thought Connor was dead.

Connor thought Travis had abandoned him because he killed the other two characters.

And they are on opposite sides of a war.

"Come with me"

Travis holds out his hand.

Explosion, smoke, magic trick, Travis isn't there anymore.

What a better way to convince yourself that you're crazy then hallucinating the brother you haven't seen in years ?

War is still raging.

What do you do ?

Continue fighting for Kronos ?

Travis is just there.

He hates me

He just have to switch sides.

He hates me

His family is just within reach.

Light it up and I'll come find you

Travis arrives, with Will of course (they will be besties in every universe).

Feeling like you got replaced hurts a lot.

Hurt leads to anger, and anger leads to violence.

Connor attacks Will, Travis intervenes and hit Connor.

Once again, Connor leaves.

Maybe he goes with Alabaster in exile ?

Or lives in the streets again ?

I don't know to this point but I'm not going to make him blow up CHB.

Or maybe, he goes to CHB, finds his brother again, happy angsty fluffy family reunion and all goes well 😁

I want to write this so bad, it looks like such a good idea.

But it will take a LONG time...

(2) it is love we must hold onto - this is a HUGE hp fic i originally started in 2017, abandoned, then started rewriting again this year, and have now left to the wayside again. its huge and plot heavy, and i struggle with it. plot is NOT my strong suit lmao

(3) the sorcerer and the clotpole - this is another rewrite i started of one of my cowritten fics, but i lost the momentum and haven't finished it. i want to, but my motivation is so fickle

(4) the world is having more fun than me (tonight) - my massive college/beyond au series for danny phantom. idk if ill ever finish it tho 😭 i lost the spark so i haven't written anything in a WHILE. there are also several fics in here that are wips that i want to finish

(5) a deep blue underworld - this isn't TECHNICALLY a wip, because it is marked as complete, BUT. it was a random phic phight prompt that i kinda half-assed in 2023 because i got this wicked idea but i didn't have enough spoons to flesh out the world/write more. but the world i ended up creating is some of my favorite and i wanna do more :c

14. Writing strengths? atmosphere, secondary actions, and flow!! im really great at setting the mood/tone, and ive been told more than once that my writing feels like a camera following the characters/setting. (which is great!! because that's how i see it!!)

15. Writing weaknesses? see above ^^ it's plot. im terrible at deep, overarching plots. i get tired/bored and tap out, so pretty much all of my plot heavy works are left incomplete.

16. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue? it depends! a lot of my characters end up speaking multiple languages, so it's kinda natural for words to slip here and there, depending on context and the conversation. mateo uses spanish but only with terms of endearment or familial terms, but emrys, who's welsh, has more random words slip up here and there (like, gimme a cwtch). i also just. slip the words in as if it's natural. there's no explanation or anything, or if it is it's contextual. none of that "oh i'm sorry, that means xyz in [language]!" stuff.

17. Favorite fic you've ever written? Ohhhhh this is a hard one. i hate picking favorites, but if i HAVE to chose... uhhhhh honestly?? anything in the series my heart was low (but i never was alone) i've done a LOT of cool stuff in those fics, and i love the story i'm telling. it's probably one of the most carefully crafted stories i've ever written!!

I don't write angsty endings, guys. At all. The closest I got was Shredding the Day Away, which has an ambiguous ending without really solving the over-arching worry of the characters (the fact they have to grow up), but it's literally solid fluff.

Uh, all of them? Most of my fics just follow the status quo and nothing really changes. HOPEFULLY it'll be Half Love by the time I've finished writing it...

I do not. Mainly because 99% of my fics star 15 year olds, and they don't deserve that treatment, no matter what real 15 year olds get up to. Also it's really awkward

Setting counts as a crossover, right? I used to have a haikyuu fic that was set in Neverland (like from Peter Pan) but I deleted it because I wasn't happy with it. Was going to fully rewrite it, just have not had time/energy to do so. And I have an outline made for a haikyuu fic that's set in the Jurrasic Park universe (starts out similar to the first movie and goes from there, and almost every single haikyuu character is in the story somewhere)

PJO characters and what I think their music tastes are (by the way, the internet? No longer an issue for the purposes of this post)

Rachel Elizabeth Dare: Oh, she's cool. Her playlist is made up, almost entirely, of artists you've never heard of until just now. Think about it, she's in New York City, so many talented people are prowling for a chance to strike it big, and as a rich person, she feels she owes it to them to give them a chance, and if she likes them, to endorse them publicly. She's canonically part of the avant-garde performance art scene, so this really isn't much of a stretch.

Percy Jackson: I think he tells people he likes Jimmy Buffet and other people like him, and he does, especially 'brandy you're a fine girl', mostly for nostalgia's sake because Sally used to play that on long road trips, so it's not a lie. But it feels like one. He knows that when people ask that question, they're trying to figure out what kind of person you are, and wants to convey that he's just this easygoing guy, y'know? Easy, breezy, beautiful, covergirl. Harmless and unassuming and kinda goofy, not much going on under the surface. But there IS a lot going on under the surface, he IS angry, and listens to a lot of angry, angsty music. Smashing Pumpkins, Insane Clown Posse, that kind of thing. But if you hand him the aux, he's not gonna play any of that personal shit for you unless he really trusts you.

Annabeth Chase: She's that girl that pretends not to like pop music because she doesn't wanna come across as a vapid airhead, but she's also learned that answering 'classical' won't win her any cool points, so she caves and just says she doesn't have a preference. Most of the time she's listening to music, it's not even like... With intention. She's just listening to music because she can't clean her room in silence. And for the most part... Yeah it's Taylor Swift. With some Journey and Bo Burnham thrown in there for flavor. Although she does have some weird things in there picked up from the weather reports on welcome to nightvale, because she's a podcast girlie.

Nico diAngelo: I think his time in the casino has exposed him to a dizzying variety of music in really quick succession, meaning he's very open-minded and genuinely will listen to just about every genre, every era, at least once. Also, he doesn't think to catagorize by genre, or even vibes, he just puts them all into the same playlist the minute he finds out they exist. Dean Martin, Will Wood, and everything in between is home in his playlist.

Hazel Levesque: Hazel, on the other hand, was dead for all that time. So while she's open to new music, she hasn't had the opportunity to adjust to this generation's sonic landscape, so she mostly prefers the classics of her time, or modern music that tries to recreate that sound. Think 'I will always think of you' from the Bojack Horseman soundtrack.

Will Solace: He loves Dolly Parton and the Dixie Chicks with his whole Texan heart. His playlist contains mostly that, and some of his mom's work too, although he feels a little weird listening to it because, like, that's his mom. It feels weirdly personal to share that with other people, but it's nice too, having that closeness with people. He's more open than Percy, more willing to be vulnerable with the people he loves, because he doesn't see his authentic self as something to hide.

Piper McLean: She's a theater kid through and through. Yes, once upon a time, she wanted to be just like daddy. And she loves, absolutely loves, belting her heart out to the entire soundtrack of whatever musical she couldn't get out of her head. Last week it was Twisted, this week it's West Side Story, next week, who knows?

i say this every time but once froggie ends, i'm going to post this but maybe release 1-2 chapters just bc then focus on other fics. this kny ft. jjk fic is like froggie in a way that it's lengthy and kind of serious, so the writing style isn't something i'm very used to. i'm still uncomfy writing froggie the way i'm writing it tbh, but i'm itching to finish froggie already.

i ... i'm obsessed with the old republic & yes, this is going to be your 'ended up in a carbonite, woke up 3000+ yrs later fic' but since i'm sure lots of people have done that before, i really went all out w/ the oc's backstory. and i wanted to explore what a sith pureblood from the sith empire would feel when they're stranded thousands of years in the future where neither sith, jedi, nor mandalorians are around. it's a long way down there. and i wanted to write an oc where for once, grogu doesn't like the newcomer immediately :) bc let's face it: memory loss bc of carbonite or not, grogu would still be wary as shit when faced w the epitome of a sith yk. but this is still tentative and just a plot bunny.

this is the most likely to be posted. i've been planning this for a looong time but never had the time to actually concretely write for it aside from jotting down notes. shinto folklore is very complex and intensive, and not to mention, there's very little authentic/reliable source for these kinds of stuff online or irl. (and my whole jp side of the family are buddhists so i have no actual source aside from intensive research and hyperfixating!)

experience/how many years: too long man . so I started way back on myspace in 2009 with a random renesmee blog - but it was very short lived because I ran into this huge twilight group and turned her into an oc named chloe lucas . eventually , the person who vacated a brady fuller profile offered up the entire edited page for whoever wanted it so I took it over and entered into some of the best times of my life . I fell in love with brady ( & a ship I had on there which was so angsty and just lsdkfj ) and ended up writing analee ( now analeigh here ) ateara , kim connweller , and I'm sure some others I'm forgetting . any way the mun behind part of my brady ship introduced me from there to tumblr and I joined a pjo rpg group as cora ( a daughter of demeter ) . from there the biggest tumblr group moment was mushu's daughter in a disney group named faith who I adored & I dilly-dallied around on here in groups until the same mun that brought me here ( miss you so much skdlfj ) introduced me to indie . and I've been stuck in the indie hell-hole for years . I started out with just a single muse jacob blog ( spaceheatcr - sigh I loved that blog ) and then eventually came around to the idea of multi-muses and here I am .

best experience: I'd have to say the first twilight group ( twilight teams - it was so cute you were " team forks " or " team la push " or " team volturi " or " team nomad " depending on who you wrote / where they lived ) on myspace because I met hella lifelong friends that I still have on facebook etc and it made me fall in love with writing / expressing & developing different muses . also the disney group I was in on here ( back to disney I think it was called ? it was a boarding school type for disney character's kids and SO cute and the admins were all so sweet I cry ) was amazing and just wholesome . and then spaceheatcr my jacob single muse because I also made lots of friends ( hales literally brought me back for this blog so I mean come on ) and idk.

rp pet peeves: bothering me over plots I don't agree with / if I block you / don't follow you / don't respond in time in a pestering way . I don't mind a hey is this thread still going if it's been awhile but I've had a few instances where people just were icky over like my time and availability . it makes writing a chore for me and that's when I usually go on hiatus . also, there is a reason I usually do mains and not exclusives on indie blogs . I had a horrid experience with a ship where the mun literally followed me onto here from myspace and acted super clingy / possessive over a male muse of mine ( i won't go into details this isn't a call-out but still ) and would like get jealous / angry ooc if he interacted with any other people in any ship way / close way etc etc etc and just all this other shit so yeah, I'm on indie for a reason - I enjoy exploring multiple ships ( not even just romantic but ya know ) and universes and aus and what have you so like - idk, exclusives are not my thing and mainly bc of that . I'm so scared of that happening again .

plots or memes: memes are the best way to get ideas rolling in my head because sometimes I just hit a block with plots and also idk where to go with new people ? mostly because I feel awkward and don't wanna suggest things and like offend or upset anyone so it's always a good idea just to either attack me with plots or memes lol. most of the time I'll say yes - esp now that I have a ship page for canon up for my thoughts on them and have some headcanons rolling for my own canon views .

long or short replies: this honestly depends entirely on my muse and not on my partner at all . sometimes short replies have to happen to transition . sometimes short replies are all I can come up with because my muse is fighting me . and sometimes I go stupid and crazy and give you a novella . it's literally all me not you sdlkfj and will vary within threads and memes for the same muses depending . so never be discouraged !!!

are you like your muse: I have so many muses - a lot of them I am drawn to because there is something I see in them that I guess is like me ? some are not like me at all tbh . I guess it all depends on who we're talking about . I try to have variety so idk .

along the lines of karl just being a narrator who through some universal glitch, ends up in the story he's supposed to be telling and has to make something up on the fly as a cover story for why he's there.

to everyone else, he's a bit odd that he seems to know literally everything, the rest of them might put it down to some weird wonderland thing, but it's really due to the omnipotence from being a narrator.

the voices that quackity, techno and ranboo hear all freaking out whenever they interact with karl because they recognise him, leaving the wonderland kids confused.

karl who wasn't originally planning on staying in the fairy tale world, because he isn't supposed to be there, he's interfering on a universal scale, and is trying desperately to find a way back, but the people here are growing on him, and he starts to make friends, and all of a sudden he doesn't want to leave.

on a more angsty note, what is being present in the story has a physical effect on karl? what if at random intervals he sort off loses consciousness only to wake up surrounded by pages and pages of writings about what's next in the story (like rachel the oracle from pjo almost)? the longer he stays there the more frequent these spells become and it's harder for him to hide them from his friends, especially quackity and sapnap, who he's really close with. one day it happens in front of them and he has to explain everything and they try to help him find a way to stay.

maybe during one of these spells, he manages to break through the pre-programmed story and writes himself into to story so it won't hurt him to stay anymore?

Oh ouch. Ouch on that. That just hurts. Oh god. We have Karl slowly just losing time and stuff on here. Oh dear. That’s not good. And then we get him writing himself into the story so he won’t get hurt so that’s great.

Non binary Percy!

Percy hadn't felt 'right' in a while. Something was off, and it was becoming harder to ignore. When Sally said 'son', it got worse, like when Annabeth said 'boyfriend', but there was nothing to pin point. Nothing that could be singled out.

It took a while, talking to people at school and doing research, months of trying things out in secret, saying it out loud in private, but eventually Percy did find something that made sense. Just one word that made the tightness and the pressure go away. Non-binary. It was so simple and so great at the same time and it made their heart soar. It was freeing and it felt right and after years everything seemed to make sense. Percy wasn't a boy, and they weren't a girl. It took even more time after that to come to terms with it, to have it feel a little more natural just saying it out loud.

But they didn't say anything at first to anyone else. It wasn't like they didn't trust anyone to not repect them or to not be supportive, but it still felt too new and fragile. It was something that Percy could to themselves and it would be just theirs. It made them, in a slightly twisted way, feel normal.

But hiding that side of themselves made their stomach twist in knots whenever someone said 'he' or 'boy' or 'son'. Everytime it happened the tightness in their chest returned and it was hard to breathe. Percy had researched it one night when it felt particularly bad, and learnt it was called 'dysphoria'. And again it made sense.

It got worse after a month or so, and at dinner with Sally, Paul and Annabeth they finally snapped.

Annabeth said, "Isn't he so sweet?" after finishing a story about one of their quests, and it threw Percy over the edge. They spammed their hands down on the table, bard enough to made the wood splinter under the force. Everyone turned to stare, eyes wide with shock, and, with a twinge of guilt, they noticed fear.

The tears came next, pouring down their cheeks. Sally was wrapping them in a hug and Annabeth was holding their hand, running her thumb over their knuckles. Paul had stood and placed a hand on their shoulder. It all came out after that. Everything at once and Percy couldn't do anything to stop it.

When they had stopped talking, drained an shakey, they stared down at the plate, too tired and numb to do anything more. Sally kissed their temple, whispering something about how they were perfect and how nothing would change that. Annabeth was hugging them too, burying her head in the crook of their neck, kissing their face up and down. Paul smiled and squeezed their shoulder, smiling proudly. And again, everything made sense, and it felt right again.
