Thinking about The Private Eye's Requiem and Kaito pulling double duty as a rescuer of Conans in distress and an absolute badass taking out those corrupt art collection people. For a movie where Conan and KID don't technically meet, I love how integrated their adventures are.

Ohhh, yes, the movie is so good!! It was one of the first movies I‘ve ever watched when I got back into the show and they did such a good job. The writing was so clever here and not too on the nose, you had to pay attention. I love imagining what Kaito was thinking thoughout the whole deal and the way he actively searched Conan and Heiji out and be like „yeah, I‘m gonna tag along those guys“. He made a great Hakuba 😘 The way he made sure he is extra aggravating as Hakuba 😂 like, they wanted they could make the whole movie one more time from Kaito‘s perspective and it‘d still be entertaining, there was just so much happening. They wrote such a fun mystery! That movie also didn’t need big explosions to be fun (nothing against explosions) but it was just so entertaining. And of course Kaito saving Conan‘s butt several times in this movie never gets boring.

Extra shout out to the girl power scene 💥 and Conan and Kogoro team up was so endearing!? When Kogoro asks „don’t you trust me?“ and he just says „no“ and KOGORO KICKS HIM OUT ANYWAY.

And Kid was written so well here too. Like, if you take anything away from this movie it is that you don‘t wanna mess around with that guy. The SKILL. I love him
