I find it kinda ridiculous the lengths some movies during the horror boom went to in order to distinguish their slasher from the 5,000 other slashers at the time.

#Like the basic slashers are kinda basic because we’ve seen them a billion times #But the more you get past the big 4 #the more ridiculous the slashers become #What the fuck do you mean they’re being murdered by a fucking rockstar and a drill guitar #Why are we trapped in a mall being hunted by security bots #Why the hell does our killer use a fucking sword?#Horror #horror movies #Slashers #Slasher movies
