Why trash is no good! Throw away the least as possible!
Landfills are a big cause of harming the environment since they require more and more land to have trash dumped into them. They take a lot of time to build land over them too, so the landfills can turn into maybe a field or a park. Making landfills are expensive too, since they have to be lined with special material so the waste doesn’t get into the fresh water levels of the earth that people get drinking water from. If they were not lined properly, our water would make us sick. The more people recycle, the less landfills that are needed for waste.
Not all trash is sifted through to find all recyclable products too, so many of those non-biodegradable products get put into landfills along with the rest of the trash. Those non-biodegradable products are not good for the soil of the earth. That tends to be commonly known by the population, but most people still do not try to recycle.
Now i encourage you to tell at least two people why they should recycle and I hope you recycle too. enjoy your day (:

Why should you recycle?
I'm sure you've heard from someone you should recycle plastic and aluminum and paper. Did you know that recycling metal actually makes money though? Producing new metal sheets cost more then using recycled metal. Metals can also be recycled indefinitely! I thought that was a cool fact! Using recycled products such as recycled paper and plastic helps the environment grow at a healthier rate too, then if we keep mining for all of earth's natural resources.
Recycling also helps reduce the amount of gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide, into the air. Burning recycled fuel creates less pollution to. Pollution from cars and industrial factories for example, creates smog and acid rain in some parts of the United States, which is very unhealthy to breathe in especially for people who live there and are breathing that air their entire life.
