Tadeusz’s family were, as you may be able to tell from his corrupted surname and very German patronymic po-russki (his dad’s name was Arnold Aron, yes I found him, he, like Stefania’s dad, took part in the Big Jewish Real Estate Boom of ~1889-1929, and if you buy an estate at auction, a whole passel of land with a villa to boot, well, those hereditary plots of dirt were flying out from under the mallet faster than Kurjer Warszawski could print the sales in their regular column; as you might imagine, all the Bronislaws and Stanislaws and Wladyslaws, or I guess at this time all the Walentys and Wincentys and Wojczechs z herbu Czarytorski or Lubomirski or Ossolinski or whatever are getting their sprawy o szlachectwo in a twist about forfeiting their divine right of property inheritance by aristocratic title)--ANYWAY, I have spent way too long in the nobility archives and I hate them all, I learned that Jerzy Giedroyc is Like That because his family are princes and he’s descended from some representative at the Radom Confederation.

Esse período também é marcado pelo surgimento do Coletivo Tombajarra. O Coletivo Tombajarra foi uma cooperativa para organizar e financiar eventos independentes na cidade e na região. Funcionava a partir da seguinte ideia, como Rio Preto é uma cidade afastada da capital, muitas vezes pela distância e pelo custo da viagem, não dava para acompanhar todas as bandas de fora do país que tocavam geralmente em São Paulo. Então a ideia foi, se cada um ajudar com um pouco de grana, a gente pode coletivamente custear parte dos eventos que nem sempre são possíveis pagar somente com a grana advinda da bilheteria, então porque ao invés de uma parte da galera se deslocar pra ver as gigs em São Paulo, por que não trazer as bandas pra tocar aqui e toda galera de Rio Preto e Região poder ver? E assim surgiu o Coletivo Tombajarra que organizou, além dos eventos citados acima, muitos outros, até meados de 2015. Segundo o amigo entrevistado Angelo Rovaris, conhecido como Netão e baixista da banda DESNUTRIÇÃO e também membro do  Coletivo: “O Coletivo Tombajarra foi a melhor coisa que aconteceu, um vi grupo de amigos de verdade que fez as coisas sair de um sonho acontecer a União fez toda a diferença acho que foi a melhor época pra nossa região que tempo bom só quem fez parte sabe como foi prazeroso só bandas foda galera em peso shows memoráveis e guardo pra vida”. Segundo outro entrevistado, Rodrigo Jacaré.” o Coletivo Tombajarra rompeu o cooperativismo de somente ser falado, mas enfim praticado. Foi um exemplo prático de que a cooperação dá certo e todos se beneficiam”

Pela descrição das gigs mencionadas, dá para se ter uma ideia do quanto o palco da Cervejaria Riopretana foi um espaço importante. Bandas antigas e novas de outros países, muitas das quais eu ouvia quando era adolescente, que eu não esperava ver um dia, de repente estavam tocando e interagindo com a gente, bem aqui nessas terras longínquas de Rio Preto.

Além das bandas de outros países, várias bandas da cidade e de seu entorno participaram desses eventos, bandas da capital e de várias cidades do interior de São Paulo também ajudaram a engrandecer esses eventos, bandas de São Carlos, Itu, Franca, Bauru, etc.

Enfim, a Cervejaria Riopretana e o Coletivo Tombajarra conseguiram realizar eventos que anos antes jamais imaginávamos que faríamos. Hoje este espaço não existe mais, por isso é importante manter esse registro histórico para que os bons momentos ali vividos não sejam esquecidos.
