Trying to draw comics again, so I'm playing around with a fan comic of Xenogears, based on a certain scene reimagined (I kept the grammar tho).

Should definitely add the text first before making speech bubbles, weird spacing here and there ><

I’m planning on making more pages, but the updates will be slow (job and freelance), just a heads up!

Here’s a drawing I did for a drawpile that was never posted, it’s Shania from xenoblade 3. Also tell me if you can spot the references to Xenogears and xenosaga. I rarely color my art so that’s why it’s so fucky

I’ve only printed and made a small handful so far as ink is very expensive these days. I wanted to make them actually playable with HP and attacks like a TCG, but I’m not too intelligent when it comes to designing a whole elaborate game system that’s balanced. I’m more of an aesthetics guy.

Either way, these are fun to make. I really wanna make more types such as like location, event, item cards, etc for each Xeno game.

I designed each card to be faithful as possible to each respective Xeno game’s UI, while also being presentable. All character images are from the games themselves except the image is slightly altered in editing. The physical cards themselves are very slightly bigger than a pokemon card, and are also laminated for protection and to achieve a shiny look. The prints in the images are prototypes- the final prints will be higher quality!

Also, the image of all the ouroboros crew all have slightly outdated uis. The image of the single Noah card is the updated XC3 UI.

Anyways, I do have much more designs besides these, but I just wanted to share this :)
