I saw a sneaky mention of someone called 'Mort' in the tags of the most recent Rose Knight post; might we learn some more about him? I'm guessing he's somehow 'in-charge' of the main crew, and that must be a time for *many* reasons.

You don't know the half of it, mate! XD Mort! My favorite middle-aged idiot! You may learn a little about him, and even get some scraps of art about him while we're about it! :3

Mort is one of the fighting instructors for the Rose Queen's army, and he specializes in training the "weird ones" that no one else knows what to do with. He was forced to retire very early from his career due to self-sacrificing heroics medical shenanigans, but despite his limited mobility and even worse physical health, he's ready to take any challenge offered to him and he is deadly committed to protecting his favorite people.

Although he really wishes the Rose Queen would stop giving him so many unhinged weirdos to teach. But not like he's got anything better to do, besides ruminating on every mistake that got him to this position in the first place XD

I started following you for your isat roleswap au and you have now got me well and truly hooked on your Rose Knights! I really like the snippets you've shared so far and it's such a fun concept, I really hope you make something like a comic or game with it in the future!!

Some questions! you have mentioned Mort knows Lapis is a human and of course George knows but does anyone else in the team know?

I noticed that everyones eyes seem to match their colour except Lapis with her green eyes, is that unusual enough that people take notice?

D'AWW ta mate!! I'm glad you enjoyed all the roleswap shenanigans I got up to, but you have no idea how happy it makes me to know you're interested in one of my original worlds! I also hope I can make this concept into a comic series or video game, and with the amount of support you guys have shown me already I'm really hopeful I can one day! <333 George and Mort (among others like the Rose Queen) knew Lapis was a human first, but everybody else will learn in the future she's human too! Uh... might take a hot minute and there will be a lot of crack theories going among Lapis' team, but they'll all know sooner or later XD EY good eye! Pun not intended, but YES Lapis' green eyes is very noticeable for everybody. And while it's not? super important? green eyes will make most Roses and Dragons pause for a second.
