“Hey. Where’s Leo and Donnie?”
Raph’s question came from behind Mikey and Casey, who were squished together on the couch with a book between them. It looked like some museum art book at a glance, but Raph was more concerned for his missing brothers.
“Uhhhhh… it’s jazz night,” Mikey answered, as though it were obvious, head tilted back to look up at Raph.
It made sense, but Raph could only furrow his brow. “.... It’s raining,” he pointed out. The faint drum of thick droplets pelting the street above being accentuated by a boom of thunder.
“...And?” Mikey asked, not seeing what the problem was. Unlike him, the rest of his brothers loved being in the rain.
“Did Leo bring his knee brace?” Raph asked this time, raising a brow pointedly.
“Oooouuuhhhhhh……. No,” Mikey’s mouth formed a wide circle in realization of what Raph was getting at, shrinking his head almost into his shell in embarrassment at missing that small but important detail.
“I think it’s in the kitchen,” Casey offered, a sheepish smile trying to unnecessarily placate Raph by being helpful.
Raph could only heave a sigh before heading towards the storage area. “I’ll see if I can scrounge up where they’ve hoarded the heat pads,” he huffed, knowing that both his brothers would be whining as soon as they stopped moving for more than ten minutes.

My YT favs slapped me in the face with an electro swing song right after I finished a different drawing, so I ended up drawing this out since it seemed fun and the video was so kind to provide refs XD
And then when I was flat coloring I thought hey why not make it raining? And then had the random story snippet pop into my head while adding rain XD
For those who are blessed to not know, rain and other shifts in weather can cause healed injuries to ache.

The Dancing Rabbit & Guard
When you’d chosen to take the shift tonight, in place of your coworker who couldn’t make it, you didn’t have much of a problem with it. It wasn’t like you were going to do anything else... or sleep.
Nobody was certain on the details—all you simply knew was that he couldn’t make it. A part of you wondered if he’d be back by tomorrow or not.
Glancing towards the old clock in the office, you noticed how it revealed that it was nearly half an hour until two. You suppressed a yawn.
You knew that your shift would end right at six—you’d be free to go back home after the long night, and you certainly hoped that it would reach the time soon enough.
So far, in the short time that you’d been inside the attraction... the local animatronic rabbit didn’t seem to stop moving.
Arriving a minute before twelve, and as you’d started getting used to the systems, you’d seen the rabbit in the arcade room... but not for very long.
Only a minute or two later, when you’d looked back at the camera, he’d moved. And he kept moving—he didn’t seem to stay in one room for very long.
Despite how distant or muffled it would sound, on multiple occasions, it almost sounded like he was speaking, yet you couldn’t make out anything specific. Was it your imagination?
Was the echoed chuckling your imagination, too? The laughter, and the clanging, coming from down somewhere within the vents?
...You didn’t think so. Especially not after looking through the cameras earlier, and spotted the rabbit—Springtrap—crawling through it.
Thankfully, with the press of a button, you were able to seal it. Although... that didn’t stop you from hating the vents—especially now, with the knowledge of it being another path for the rabbit.
The last time you’d blocked his path in the vents had been ten minutes ago. He wasn’t there any longer—you knew he wasn’t in there, that was easy to tell...
...But, then, where was he now? After checking over the vent cameras one final time, you’d switched to the main ones, but...
You really didn’t like these cameras very much. You could barely see anything on them—there was always all of that static, and-
You groaned. Now, you couldn’t see anything at all. You were able to remember the maintenance panel, at least. I need to reboot it...
Looking away from the cameras—not like there was anything to currently see—you turned to reach for the maintenance panel... only to freeze.
Standing in the entryway of the office was the rabbit, his gray eyes staring intently towards you. Damn it!
As Springtrap started to take slow, heavy steps into the office, almost certainly heading for you, you began to look around, frantically.
There were three things that could potentially be rebooted. The ventilation, cameras, and audio. You knew what it could be used for—you’d lured him away earlier that night.
Despite the cameras needing to be rebooted, the audio was still fine... wasn’t it? It didn’t need to be rebooted. I have to get him out of here! It better work...
Taking a deep breath, you turned back around to face the monitor, while attempting to ignore the sound of footsteps. You raised a hand to press the audio button-
When a moldy green hand launched forward, and grabbed hold of your wrist, you could feel yourself flinch as your eyes went wide.
A second later, you were pulled up onto your feet, and closer to where Springtrap was currently standing. “H-Hey! Let me go!”
You tugged and tugged, but your wrist wouldn’t be freed. The rabbit seemed to have a good grip, but you weren’t feeling any pain.
“Struggle all you want,” When the rabbit spoke, his voice came out as both raspy, yet smooth. “But you’re going to do what I want.”
You frowned, thoughts racing through your mind, when Springtrap tore you away from those with another sudden movement.
He pulled you closer once more—close to the tall rabbit’s chest. One of his hands remained holding your wrist, although, you thought you felt it moving.
His other hand, however, was placed around your back. You didn’t know what to say, or even what to think.
Springtrap began moving, and so did you—even if you didn’t want to—even if you were trying to get free from the rabbit’s grasp.
It took you a minute or two, but it finally registered to you within your mind what was going on—what the rabbit’s movements meant: dancing.
...But, why? Why was Springtrap dancing? Why was he making you? What was he going to do after? Hurt you? You certainly knew he could be capable.
You felt yourself stumble a bit, and let out a huff. “This... This isn’t something that I’m-“
A chuckle escaped the rabbit, his ears twitching. His left hand had intertwined with your own, you realized—while feeling his right hand moving again.
“Oh, trust me when I say this...” He started slowly, in the process of twirling you around beside him. His ears continued to twitch.
You’d never danced like this before—you’d never had anyone for it, and... this rabbit? This wasn’t who you imagined having a dance with... ever.
But... this was certainly better, at least, compared to what else he could potentially do. You’d heard of how he attacked someone... and saw the aftermath.
It had been a former coworker of yours that he’d attacked... although, you hadn’t known them well. They never returned. Nobody blamed them.
After the twirl, you were pulled close to him again. His voice was practically the only noise in the office, aside from his footsteps, and your breathing. His voice...
You didn’t want to admit it—not to the rabbit—but... it was nice. Why was this old rabbit’s voice so nice? It was almost... comforting, in a way.
You wanted to try and ignore the voice—ignore Springtrap, but... right now? It all seemed practically impossible.
You weren’t held in the last position for much longer, as you were suddenly dipped down low by Springtrap.
You were held there, staring up into the glowing gray eyes of Springtrap—his focus wasn’t leaving you. The eyes—he remained focused on you. It almost felt as if the eyes were burning into you.
One of his arms, you noticed, simply remained against your back—but as you remained there, the rabbit’s other hand moved up...
...And you watched and felt as the cold animatronic hand was placed gently against their cheek. He seemed to stroke it.
“...With how much we’ll be doing this, you and I, I’m certain you’ll get much better...” The rabbit chuckled.
