Every once in a while I have to make sure I'm interacting a normal amount with normal women and actual feminism every once in a while, to avoid falling into the transsex-male-to-rampant-misogynist pipeline. Far too easy to go from "radfems and gender abolitionists are literally the scum of the earth" (true statement) to "well maybe all feminism is bullshit" (not at all true statement) to "trans women are somehow lesser than trans men, and all women are evil and out to get Us" (batshit crazy).

#sorta shitpost #but also it's kind of true #a lot of us use misogyny (& transmisogyny) as a cope for the shite experience of having been forcibly raised female #and also to compensate for not being seen as “real” men by so many #i know that wishing I could be stealth and wanting to pass has personally lead to a lot of internalized toxic masculinity #not to say it's a good thing at all no one should be trying to compensate for being “not man enough” by putting down others #transmed #truscum #transmed safe #exclu #i still harbor some lingering resentment against lesbians because of all the tucutes and terfs equating trans men with lesbians #it's super frustrating to have Certain WLWs tell me that “I'm accepted in their community uwu!”#and how “trans men are the only men they like”#me liking women isn't and never has been sapphic #but still gotta remember that even tho there are lesbian & bi women in my life who think like that #doesnt mean that all or even most women think that way #my rants
